Hospital
Paul writes down a number for Izzy. Clem will fix anything at the "right price". She nervously asks what she has to do, meet him in person? Nah, she can simply call a number and it'll be done. Paul glances at Izzy and suggests she tear it up right now. She's not into this, no matter how big her problem. Besides, what about the secret she'll be carrying? Izzy laughs that if all she needs to do is call to get rid of a nightmare...and secrets, those she can handle. Unfortunately for her, Paul now also knows...not that it's a threat. Not at all! She questions why he didn't just set her up when she was blackmailing him but Paul grins that she wasn't worth it - gambling another 20 to 30 years of jail.

IZZY: Whatever I do, it's all over for me.

Paul guesses she means a Karl Kennedy but surely she will get over it. As will he. In no time, Izzy will find another surely find another sucker. No she won't as simply put, "I love him".

Hoylands'
Max successful puts together a crib and Steph and Summer admire it. They admit there was some doubt in his ability.

MAX: Hey I may be challenged with power tools but the allen key is my forte.

Boyd is about to escape out the door and Summer gleefully points out the crib. Max is suspicious of his son's plans but all Boyd is going to do is skate. And that's all dammit! Susan witnesses the tense exchange and they admit it's been hard lately. They just hope he's not going to visit Kayla. Ah well, all Susan came over for was to drop off some items from Summer's music teacher. She believes she has a genuine gift for piano! There are some pamphlets for the Gillard School of Performance and Music. Only the best students in the state go there to study music, just passing the entry exam is extraordinary! Summer is reluctant as she would have to be a "freaky genius" to get into the school. Besides, she is not going to boarding school, especially in Wangaratta (Suse points out it's a lovely town) and she is not going to leave when she has a new baby sister on the way. To sum it up, "I don't think so" and slams the door to her room.

Izzy's Office
Izzy picks up the phone and is about to ring the number but...she can't. She scrunches the paper up and throws it out, literally pulling her hair in frustration.

Scarlet Bar
Sindi is working when she is surprised by Stu with a single rose, just because he loves her. Aww. Stuey will have to do much more than that as Ms Watts ain't budging. He apologises immensely and he wants to work through this paranoia thing. In fact, he is going to talk with Steiger later. The senior sargent has been around for a few years and will probably know if the force ruins weddings...or if he's just paranoid about weddings and is looking for an excuse. Of course, he is kidding. Sindi is absolutely perfect and knows it is him. Sindi finally takes the rose and gives her man a kiss.

Hoylands'
Steph and Max talk about Gillards...it's a little expensive (though they do have scholarships), but that is not really the issue. Steph is hesitant as she's not sure Summer is ready to leave home but Max is rather enthusiastic. It's amazing, if she wants to have a career in that direction. What about it being a boarding school? Max says this is different, he only went to boarding school cause his parents thought children were an inconvenience! Summer comes back out and apologises.

SUMMER: I'm sorry for doing an Aunt Izzy on you all before.

She quite maturely thanks Susan for bringing the information over but she doesn't think it's the right time for her to leave home yet. Suse still talks a little about the school - their day is divided into 2 halves: morning is as normal and in the afternoon they can do music. They've got their orchestras and bands which tour music festivals. All around Australia and maybe even overseas. Summer looks quite excited at this point.

Steph comes back in with sheer excitement written all over her face. They are allowed to see Kayla and the baby tomorrow!

Darcy's Hospital Room
Izzy waltzes on in, much to Darcy's surprise.

IZZY: You'll get the 200 a week but you won't get me.

Sadly for Izzy, Darcy rejects this counter offer and he can! Haha, she's got nothing on him. He's untouchable. Izzy glares, oh he shouldn't be so sure...Darcy smiles, so he if doesn't shut up...she'll have him kneecapped?

IZZY: You're a liar and a leech. But you don't have the guts.

He taunts her to do the worst.

IZZY: I'm warning you don't bat me into a corner.
DARCY: (laughter) Oh please. Now go on. Off you go.
IZZY: You're making a big mistake.

What Izzy says and what Izzy feels are two different things. Outside the hospital room she looks absolutely terrified.

Kayla's Hospital Room
Kayla is trying her hardest to feed Ashley, but the little bub is being a little stubborn. Boyd quietly knocks and grins at the image. Though, he wants to know why she isn't er, breast feeding? She admits that it's just a lot easier this way...no way she can get too attached and asks if he'd like a go. Boyd is reluctant but then gets a hold of Ashley and of course, melts. He says she's got her eyes...and Kayla says she will have Boyd as a big brother. To protect her like she can't.

Park
Stu talks to Steiger about his little paranoia problem. He is always on the look out, always thinks that people are committing a crime, something dodgy. They pass 2 men sitting in a car and point out them for instance. Something about that situation is just...odd. And even with people he trusts! He just thinks they are doing something suss. He names Sindi as an example. Steiger looks at him (and those 2 men they just passed), and all he can suggest is for him to see the staff counsellor. He calls out to the 2 blokes, they both panic and try to run for it.

Scarlet Bar
Susan approaches Karl and notices all the travel brochures - yes, he's planning a trip. Italy, France all the usual places...He needs to leave for the hospital and Susan mentions she was just there with Darcy. She lets him know how Darcy appreciates all of Isabel's visits but Karl is annoyed. In fact, Izzy won't be doing those as it upsets her. Susan is surprised, whatever she's been saying has helped because Darcy has written it all down and plans to share it with the world...Karl sarcastically wonders who'd want to listen to Darcy! Susan gives him a look and asks if she could pass on her thanks to Izzy but Karl snaps she can do it herself as Izzy is in her office.

Paul's Hospital Room
Karl wheels in a wheelchair but this does not impress Paul. He's immediately snappy but Karl calmly outlines the importance of Paul and some early rehabilitation at this stage. Paul scathingly accuses Karl on being in on it. He knew, he knew that Dylan signed the form and this is all a conspiracy to torture him. He is really enjoying this isn't he? All Karl is exercising is a duty of care...to which Paul once again hatefully throws back in his face. Okay then, Karl will return later.

Hoylands'
Boyd sneaks in while the rest of the clan gorge their pizza. Max is suspicious and wants to know if he's skateboarding in the dark now. Or did he see anyone as he was gone for so long. He finally asks point blank, if he's seen Kayla. He admits he has but only because he couldn't help it and Kayla gets bored being so alone. Steph and Max are of course, not pleased with the close contact but Boyd snaps. He voices that this adoption is wrong, Kayla is Ashley's mother and no one will be helped if they take her away!!! Steph whispers Ashley's name, she's a little misty. They're all a little bewildered but all Boyd knows if that Kayla is her REAL family and does not want to give her baby up.

Hoylands'
Max cautions Boyd must be clear as he can't go second guessing Kayla, did she actually say she did not want to go through with the adoption? Boyd shakes his head, but it's like...Ashley is a part of Kayla. Steph completely understands this and was afraid it would happen. Max (voice of calm and reason) state they don't know what is going on yet, they should quit jumping to assumptions. Furthermore, Boyd should have stayed away! Boyd is sorry though, he is too involved and just had to say something. Kayla just does not know how to stop what she started. Max and Steph will talk about it with her tomorrow when they see her.

Scarlet Bar
Steiger congratulates Stu on being a top cop, though next time he can do all the chasing! Sindi walks past and Steiger remarks he vaguely remembers what it's like.

STEIGER: Women are like a hobby I mean to get back into one time. Just like surfing.

Stu wants to know if the myth of "join the force, get a divorce" is true, but Steiger thinks it can work. Stu knows it can as Sindi is absolutely worth it. Aww.

Behind the bar, a big burly baldish kinda man and Sindi talk. Izzy comes out of her office and Sindi introduces Clem Dyson to her. (Izzy thinking OH NO! The hitman is HERE HERE!) He believes they have an appointment....

Izzy's Office
Izzy explains her nervousness and she has never done anything like this before. Clem is surprised, surely people who run bars have an experience with this...kinda thing? He wants to know how many she is talking, or would she like to see some of his examples? Izzy is shell shocked, he...what? They're just photos...of his table settings (not dead bodies). They are just of the some bigger functions he has done - napkins? Table cloths? Linen for all occasions me dear? HAHA!

Paul's Hospital Room
Izzy is cranky with Paul about the setup but Paul can't help l-a-u-g-h-i-n-g. She fumes, oh it just turns him on to play with people doesn't it? (You should know Izzy) He wishes he could have seen her face, hahaha! Finally, Izzy sees the funny and starts laughing too.

The General Store
Flash to the stock shots and we see The General Store. Who should walk in but Mr Darcy. He looks around before sitting down and dialling Izzy. He muses she is a hard women to track down but he's got some good news he just wanted to share. He just left his bail hearing and yes, he has got bail! Hurrah. He's not dangerous but a little bit of a chatterbox...hint hint. Fortunately for him, Izzy resigns all weapons and announces he has won. Happy? She will give him anything he wants.

Well it just so happens...Darcy wants her to go to his hearing. Be remorseful about the robbery and play down her post-traumatic nightmares. He laughs that she should have seen him about it, they were of guilt after all.

Kayla's Hospital Room
Max and Steph finally visit little Ashley and both look pretty happy cooing over her. They mention they knew Boyd was here...and told them about Kayla's apparent hesitation to go ahead with the adoption. They don't want to force her into anything but need to know if she has changed her mind, now is the best time to speak.
