Gym
Boyd has just finished working out when Sky comes in. He is very flustered and Sky comments on it but he brushes it off as having had a long day and wonders why she is there. She there to apologises for the way she was earlier and asks if they can walk home together before commenting that he is changing before her eyes.

No. 32
Max and Steph are discussing their night at Lassiters when they're surprised by Summer's early arrival home. They want to know why she is home early and she tells the party was boring and that a friend's mum dropped her off. She tries to disappear to her bedroom but Max stops her and smells cigarette smoke on her and wants to know if she's been smoking. Summer swears it wasn't her before quickly running off to be sick. Lovely!

No. 24
Harold comes in from the Lassiters do moaning to Lil and David at not being invited to Gino's after party. David gets annoyed wondering why they weren't invited to the do until Lil points out it was for Lassiters traders and Harold adds that working there doesn't count. Sky comes home and wonders why David is sucking up to Paul since he is a con man. David begins to defend Paul and Sky tells him don't come running to her when it is all exposed as to what sort of person Paul really is. Harold tells them about Sky crossing swords with Paul in school.

No. 32
Steph is wondering if they should go check on Summer but Max says she got herself into this and can get herself out. Summer comes out of the bathroom and heads for her room until Max calls her back. He starts to lecture her about why he didn't want her to go to the party and wondering why he was sweet-talked in letting her go in the first place before adding she won't be getting to any more parties in the future. Summer tries to explain before running off to be sick again. Max starts fretting and Steph tries to calm him down saying she's learned a valuable lesson from it all and that he's over-reacting. Max says she is under-reacting before going to check on Summer.

No. 32 next day
Steph gives summer some breakfast and Summer asks if Max is still angry. Steph says he is and explains she feels let down by her for what she did at the party since she was the one who sweet-talked Max into letting her go. Summer apologises to her and Steph tells her to put it all behind them. Max comes in and tells her to get ready to school. Steph thinks she needs a day off school to recover but Max says no since it was self-inflicted. Summer leaves the kitchen and Steph says to Max that he's being harsh on Summer by not letting her stay at home. Boyd makes a subtle exit and Max is glad he is on the right track. Steph thinks he is being hard on her and Max says that Steph is sounding more like his father so she wants to know if that is a good thing or a bad thing. Max doesn't answer, so Steph wonders why he has mentioned him since he doesn't normally him. Max then says that what has happened with Summer has convinced him that he's not going away to the rigs.

The Community Hall
Lyn sporting a new look with her hair comes in for a latte and Harold comments on her nice new look. David is still sulking at not being invited to the Lassiters do so Lil tells him to cheer up. He tries to say nothing is wrong when Paul, followed by Sky with a camcorder, comes in and joins them. From Sky's camcorder we see David asking how the night went and Paul says fine and thanking him for asking. Boyd sees Sky filming and puts his hand over the lens before asking if she is doing the expose. With Sky filming in the background, Paul is thanking Lil for her recent work for the Helen Daniels Trust Fund. Lil thanks him and heads off to the school with the cookies she baked before reminding David she'll see him there at midday. The scene turns back to Boyd asking Sky why she is doing the filming. She tells him to wait until the dirt comes out before filming him again. Back to David moaning to Paul for not being invited to the Lassiters do the previous night. Paul reminds David he voted against the traders in the recent council vote so why would he be invited. David thought it had all been forgotten about so Paul invites him instead to a lunch meeting. David readily accepts before Paul reminds him that he can't go to because he's to meet Lil at the school.

No. 32
Steph wonders how Summer is and Max says she is still crook. They embrace and Steph wants to know what he meant in his comment earlier about his father. Max doesn't want to talk about it since his father didn't care two-hoots about Izzy and him so he doesn't want to waste his breath now on him. Steph asks him them if he thinks she doesn't care about Summer and Boyd since he compared her directly to him. Max apologises for it saying it was heat of the moment comments and that it was stupid to say it. Steph tells him that mistakes are part of growing up and does he think that she can't help Summer? Max says he doesn't think that so she tells him that if he trusts her to be the kids' mum, then he has to go on the rigs like they planned. Max goes to protest but Steph reminds him that he wouldn't have hesitated if it were Claire they were being left with. Max just looks at her.

Lassiters
David, obviously not going to meet Lil at the school, spots Lyn in the restaurant and wonders if she is there to meet Paul too. She says no and he joins her whilst waiting for Paul but she suddenly gets up and leaves. Lil phones David on his mobile and realising he's in trouble covers the phone with a plate!

School
Lil leaves a message for David on his voicemail telling him to get to the school now. Paul wonders in and goes to speak to Lil wondering what is up. She tells him about David not turning up or answering his phone and Paul reassures her that he will turn up. Sky, outside the classroom, puts the camcorder in through the window to record Paul there. Paul now buys all of the items Lil is selling and gives her extra for it too. Lil spots Sky recording and goes to speak to her asking what she is up to. Sky replies nothing, before Lil starts lecturing her that Paul isn't a bad guy. She might change her tune though when she realises he threw her baked goods into the bin in the corridor though!

Lassiters
David is sitting waiting for Paul with his guests when he and Sky filming him on her camcorder arrive. Paul wonders why David is there since he was supposed to be at the school with Lil. David says he can't be at her beckon call all the time and that he wears the pants in the house.

No. 32
Summer is sorry that Steph is arguing with Max because of her. Steph says she will forget about it if she promises never to smoke again. Summer readily agrees since she didn't like it anyway and tries to blame Lisa for it. Steph stops her mid-sentence and tells her she is responsible for her own actions.

STEPH: Sum, you got your own mind, you got your own will too. If you don't want to smoke don't smoke simple as that. Look, I know it can be hard standing up for yourself but if you don't do it you'll be scraping yourself of the bottom of everyone's shoes for the rest of your life.
SUMMER: That's exactly what Carmella said. Why didn't I listen?
STEPH: Yes, well you can't tell me that you enjoy being Lisa's little bunny.
SUMMER: I hate it.
STEPH: Well there you go.

Steph tells her to go get some lemons and they'll make lemonade together. Summer hugs her and thanks her before leaving to get the lemons. Max who's been standing in the hall hearing their talk comes in (well tries to since the floor is just cleaned) and apologises to her for not talking to Summer the way she just has. Steph says he's had things on his mind lately but he butts in and says he's ashamed in that the only way he can support his family is by going off to the rigs and abandoning them. Steph says he isn't and jokingly wonders how she'll manage to cope without him for six weeks.

No. 24
David comes home and makes up a story for not being at the school, which Lil seems to accept. After he goes into the bedroom Sky says to Lil that David's story sounded convincing until she plays back what she recorded at Lassiters early about showing Lil who wears the pants in the house. Lil looks furious.

Lil is tearing into David but he says it was an important meeting and it is good for his career. Lil wonders where she and Serena come into the equation and David says everything he does is for the family.

LIL: Got to love the irony then cos the way you're going, pretty soon you won't have a family.
DAVID: Don't be ridiculous Lil. It doesn't even warrant a response.

David leaves and Sky comes over to comfort her. Lil apologises to her for hearing that and Sky says there is nothing to apologise for. Sky tells her that since Paul knew about the school fundraiser so why did he invite David to lunch?

The Community Hall
Paul is doodling when Lil comes in asking why Paul lied to her before verbally laying into him. Paul in his defence says he only mentioned the lunch to David and didn't invite him and wondered why he appeared for it instead of fulfilling his promise to Lil and anyway he assumed that David had called her to let her know of his new plans. A calmer Lil accepts Paul's explanation and ends up apologising to him for shouting off and asks him to keep an eye on David!

No. 32
Max has obviously told the kids about going to work on the rigs so Boyd asks him how long he'll be away for. Max tells them that it is 6 weeks and if they didn't need the money badly he wouldn't be doing it. They accept him leaving and he gets them to promise to be on their best behaviour, that Steph is in charge and what she says goes. They're cool with it and Summer adds she won't be smoking either. Max tells Boyd not to go off on any crusades and when he asks what crusades he reminds him of Travis and Gus!

The Community Hall
Lyn is on the phone apologising for standing someone up. Harold is eves dropping so she quickly hangs up and orders something. The teens come in from school and Boyd tells Sky about Max going away for six weeks and she can stay over but all that is on Sky's mind is Paul Robinson and what he did to David earlier. He asks if she is sure and she reassures him before rushing out to follow Paul again.

Complex
David has come by to apologise to Paul for Lil's actions earlier. Paul says there is no need before inviting him to drive his car whilst he is away for a few days on business but David thinks Lil wouldn't approve. Paul leaves to take a call from Lee Thomas and notices Sky recording him whilst hiding in the bushes. He cuts the call short and goes to Sky and tells her to stop recording him.

PAUL: I don't like sneaks.
SKY: That's cos you've got something to hide.

Paul grabs the camcorder from Sky and despite her protestations removes the tape from it before standing on it and telling her to get lost.

SKY: Hey Paul. Got you worried haven't I?
PAUL: You listen to me. If I ever see you doing anything like that again, EVER, it won't be me who's worried.
