Izzy says to Tom that he still should be under a sacred vow no matter what, and that she thinks Susan wouldn't be too keen to find out Tom had been lying to her all this time about knowing the baby secret. Tom contemplates this.
Susan's
Toadie is waiting on Sindi to get ready, but she can't decide on what dress to wear. He says that both of them make her bum look small much to her chagrin.

Summer is still waiting on her email reply from Caleb. Sky tells her that he may be planning something better than an email, like a face-to-face reunion. Summer says that would be "magic", and Sky says something that would also be magic is if Summer and Caleb were flower girl and pageboy at her and Boyd's wedding. Summer's excited to hear Sky has the wedding all planned out. Boyd looks nauseous in the background.
Susan's
Sindi is still trying to choose a dress for the business lunch that Toadie has to attend. She picks a little subdued number but then goes on and on about what shoes and jewelry to wear. Toadie's eyes start to glaze over.
Warrinor Prison
Lou is visiting Darcy and telling him how he's going to visit Lolly next week (who's a grown up 10-year-old now). He says to Darcy that he'll be out of there soon, but Darcy says his hearing for day release is later that afternoon and without a sponsor he's got no chance. Lou says not to give up hope.

Sky's wedding plans are getting more elaborate by the second as she tells Summer she wants a carriage, doves, "maybe even butterflies!" Boyd is on the couch clutching a pillow and his burger in fear. He grabs his skateboard and makes a hasty exit. Summer continues to gabble excitedly at Sky about all the wedding plans, not getting the joke. Sky looks incredulously at her.
Number 30
Sindi is on the phone to Lil's answering machine asking where the dress is because she is going to be late for the lunch meeting.
SINDI: I'm standing here in my underwear. In my undies.
Toadie is getting angry and wants to know why she can't just wear the dress she had on when she got to his place. Sindi suggests he go without her but he says that the client is expecting her rock up with a partner. There's a knock at the door - It's Lil much to Sindi's relief... until she puts on the dress and realises Lil has let out the bust again. She says she'll have to pad it again, and runs to put her new falsies in. Toadie glares at Lil who feigns innocence.
Susan's
Tom comes over to see Susan. She asks him if he wants to see a movie that night but he has more pressing things on his mind. He says he needs to tell her something. Susan is understandably worried at his serious tone.
Coffee Shop Kitchen
Izzy is worrying herself sick when Karl stops by to visit. It's all for nothing though because he just wanted to see "the beautiful mother of my child". Izzy is ecstatic that he's still in the dark about the baby business and they hug. They talk about one of Karl's patients at the hospital who is going through a hip replacement on her own because her husband died last year. Karl says that it would be horrible to be alone at that age and Izzy says she hopes they never have to worry about that.
Max and Boyd are sitting down to eat lunch. Max notices that Boyd looks down in the dumps and Boyd confesses that Sky has gone wedding mad. Max laughs at him and tells him that Sky would have to be having him on.
MAX: Come on, we're talking about Sky Mangel, the Sky Mangel, the next Germaine Greer for goodness sake! Do you really think she wants to get married?
Boyd thinks this over.
Susan's
Tom tells Susan that there's one thing he hasn't been honest about with her. He changes tactic at the last minute though and confesses to Susan that's it's been hard trying to adjust to 'real life'. Susan looks relieved and says she understands. He says he doesn't want to go back "not for a second" it's just the adjusting is kind of "brutal". Susan says he should choose a field that would enhance his people skills.
Lou pops by to tell Susan that Darcy really needs her at his hearing that day if he stands a chance at day release. He says that Darcy doesn't know he's here. Susan is worried that if she agrees, he might commit another crime while he's out. Tom tells her that she's agonized because she's a compassionate woman, "and with compassion comes forgiveness, that's the rub. Forgiveness is very hard. I'm sure you'll make the right decision." That's the last thing Susan looks like she wants to hear.

Toadie's client is running a bit late thankfully. Sindi asks him if her inflatables look alright as she keeps adjusting them. Toadie pretends he hasn't noticed but she says he has because he's a "boob man". Connor is ogling Sindi from across the room.
SINDI: Why are men so pathetic when it comes to breasts?
(Toadie leans right down toward her chest to have a look)
SINDI: What are you doing now?
TOADIE: I'm looking for the leak...
She goes up to Connor and says she saw him staring. He denies it at first but then says he was, only because she looks different. "I've got some news for you," she faux smiles, "they're falsies, okay? So, eyes up!" Toadie's client arrives and he tells Sindi to stop playing with them. Connor sidles up to Max who's reading nonchalantly at the counter.
CONNOR: (Slipping him a $10 note) Yep, they're fake.
MAX: Thought so.

Lil is putting the shopping away while Summer is lamenting to Sky about Caleb again. Sky answers a knock at the door. Boyd melodramatically sweeps in and proposes to Sky. "Yes! Of course I will!" Lil looks curiously at Summer.
LIL: Have they been drinking raspberry cordial again?
SUMMER: I didn't even know Boyd hadn't proposed yet.
Sky and Boyd chirp away about how happy they are.

Toadie and Sindi wave goodbye to the client and his partner with Toadie commenting on how well the lunch went. Sindi agrees, "just as long as you don't mind your girlfriend being ogled at, dribbled over all over lunch." Toadie says the guy wouldn't have if she hadn't been fiddling with them so much.
TOADIE: He was sitting across from 'Miss Party Balloons 2004'...
(Sindi looks outraged)
TOADIE: Sorry.
She storms off to go home, almost bumping into Connor on the way out. Toadie asks him if he wants to play some pool but Connor thinks he should go after Sindi. He says he's already apologized, but doesn't look too convinced with himself.

Sky and Boyd are trying to outdo one another by saying how many kids they want, and Sky suggests they call a celebrant right then and there. Boyd grabs the phone book and finds a number. Lil looks more worried by the second while Summer looks excited. Boyd chooses Moira Peak (who "Will bring romance and elegance at a budget price") and Sky rings her. She relays to Boyd that they can get married that day, but he grabs the phone off her and finds out she's called the number to find out the time. "I knew you were all talk, Mangel!"
Warrinor Prison
Lou is at Darcy's day release hearing. The person in charge says that Darcy has been a model prisoner but Lou doesn't qualify as a sponsor and that she can't grant him any day release at all. He is about to return to his cell when a guard lets Susan into the room they're in. She apologises for being late, "my name is Susan Kennedy, and I'm here on behalf of Darcy Tyler." Darcy looks incredibly surprised to see her there and Susan smiles at him.

Connor asks Toadie if he's ready to go home yet and jokes that he's probably scared of Sindi. Toadie says he's not and that he's entitled to take the "moral high ground" every now and then. "Well, sometimes taking the high moral ground makes you an easier target!" jokes Connor.
Karl is telling Max that he's really looking forward to having the baby with Izzy, especially since he thought his child days were over. Max says he felt so happy when Boyd was born, like his heart was going to burst. Karl says he'll feel that again when Steph has a baby. Max looks a little odd and Karl says there are always alternatives like IVF if they're having difficulties.
MAX: Nah, that's not for us.
KARL: You sure?
MAX: Yeah, I mean I think we mess around with nature too much sometimes. If it's not meant to be, it's not meant to be. We'll just need to get over it and get on with our lives.
KARL: Right. And Steph feels the same way...
MAX: Yeah, I think so, probably.

Sindi brings the dress back and sarcastically thanks Lil for making her look like a tart because of the alterations. She wonders if Lil thinks she's Dolly Parton. Lil tells Sindi she wrecked the entire line of the dress with her alterations and made her bottom look huge.
SINDI: Oh, hello! Earth to Lil! It's just a dress it can't bend light!
Lil evil eyes her.
Number 30
Toadie and Connor deduce that Sindi is taking the dress back to Lil's. They start to talk about the mystery that is women and how they're glad they don't have to go through all the fuss that the girls do. "They're never going to be satisfied with themselves."
Bishops'
Sindi and Lil are slumped side by side on the couch wishing for differently proportioned body parts (Sindi wants bigger boobs while Lil wants a smaller butt). Sky wonders if the pair of them have ever heard of the beauty myth and Lil says she's living proof of it. They continue on and complain that men only have to shave to look good.
SINDI: I know, what, men are supposed to come from Mars? If they do I think Mars is a complete dump. With dirty undies and dirty socks, and no toilet paper!
Boyd makes a quick exit.
Number 30
Connor and Toadie clear the coffee table to play cards. They say they're not pervs, it's just that they were admiring the "engineering" of things. Toadie says they're snags and that they're "in touch with [our] feminine side". Boyd walks in and asks if Stingray's around and then what they're talking about. "Well, we're having a discussion about inflatable bras," Connor informs him. Boyd looks interested.

Sindi and Lil apologise to one another and Sindi says she thinks of Lil like a sister. "Really?" "Yeah, but I come from a really dysfunctional family." They laugh.

Izzy walks in and asks Max if he's seen Karl. When he says he has she asks if he seems okay. Max says that she may have a big problem on her hands but tells her he was only joking when he sees the petrified look on her face. "Look, I'm winding you up! He hasn't stopped talking about how much he loves you!"
Karl is back from the loo and Izzy tells him that she has a surprise for him at the Coffee Shop. Max looks a little concerned at Izzy's panic before.
Coffee Shop
Izzy leads Karl into the kitchen and tells him to close his eyes. She puts one of her world famous chocolates in his mouth and he's excited that she's made them again. "Just for old time's sake." Karl says things have changed a bit since then, but they both agree it's for the better. They hug.
Susan and Darcy walk in ready to have a coffee. Karl looks infuriated that Darcy is out of prison and stalks over to them. He asks Susan what she's done and she tells him that she's approved Darcy's day release. Karl says she's making a terrible mistake.
SUSAN: I decided it was worth the risk.
DARCY: Good to see you, Karl.
