Recap
- Susan professing her love to Tom.
- Serena's embarrassment at Scott at the dinner party.
- Karl finding Izzy.
Hotel in Castlemaine
As Karl recovers from the shock, he happily embraces Izzy, telling her how wonderful it is to see her. She is very reluctant to speak with him, saying how it was for the best that she disappear, even if it was the hardest thing for her to do. Karl wants to properly talk with her, however Izzy flatly tells him to go back to Erinsborough, claiming that the baby is her own problem and she doesn't need him.

Scott's tearing out a very long paper chain, much to Sindi's annoyance. She tells him he's got some mail, though he's sceptical about what's inside it "another spiggin letter telling me to shonk off". He finally admits that he and Serena broke up, which is why he's in a bad mood. Sindi seems to think it's no big deal, telling him that compared to her relationships of today, the ones in her teens are incredibly insignificant...not to mention that it's been disaster after disaster for her!
SINDI: I managed to date a married petty crim who put my current boyfriend in a coma. Who incidentally when he woke up, managed to call for his late wife!
If Serena really cared for him, than she would love Scott for who he is, end of story.
Hotel in Castlemaine
Izzy is frantically packing her things, when Karl starts to knock on the door, whilst professing how much he loves Izzy, how much he wants and cares for their child and how he can't imagine his life without them. This convinces Izzy to open the door and she asks if he really meant all of it, which Karl nods and they start to kiss.

Sindi calls out to Toadie that the brown tie he's putting on makes him look washed out and hands him a blue one. After another glance, she hands him a white shirt to wear instead and Toadie teasingly asks if he should also change his underwear or his hair. She tells him that he's so sensitive...although, picking up a stuffed bunny, asks if he could live without it.
TOADIE: That's Mr Bunny to you and if he is a revered member of this household.
SINDI: Oh really? Mr Bunny. Well let me tell you, it's either him or me!
TOADIE: They're fighting words little lady.
SINDI: Little lady? You know the last person to call me that actually ended up with a sexual harassment suit?
TOADIE: Did he match his tie?
They start a pillowfight but stop when Sindi spots some markings Stu put on a newspaper criticising Sindi's new astrology job, though Toadie thinks it was more in jest. Sindi asks if he's defending Stu and walks away stating she would never do that to him!
No.28 (evening)
Susan is furiously (and nosily) scrubbing the hotplate, which Sindi deducts from the behaviour and from Susan telling her that she should maybe go mope in her room (like Scott is), that Tom has not called yet. Sindi optimistically says it doesn't mean he's "not thinking for you, or pining for you". Pointing to her astrology chart, she is confident she and Tom are made for each other however Susan disagrees, noting his absence as a sign that Tom is committed in other ways and continues to furiously scrub the hotplate.
Grease Monkeys
About twelve squealing kids come running, followed by an amused Tom and Lyn. She thanks him for inviting her out to see 'Shrek 2' and wonders if Tom is out of his depth with all these kids here. He thinks he's okay with them, and gets them to sit and settle down by bribing them with ice-cream. Lyn compliments Tom on how lucky the parish is to have him, before leaving to go meet an unnamed friend at the pub for dinner.
The Pub
Lyn raves to Susan how wonderful Tom is as a priest, he is "a wonderful devout man following his calling".
Karl and Izzy walk in and Max is ecstatic that Izzy is home. He can't believe that she worked at the crummy old motel that the two used to make fun of as kids.
Lyn wants to go, but Susan says that it's fine and that they'll stay.

Scott glances at his unopened arts grant letter on the bench and flops back down in frustration.
Bishops
Sky excitedly shows off her letter from the arts grant to Serena, calling how great it is she can play the system
No.28
Scott finally opens and reads his letter, visibly disappointed that he didn't get an arts grant.
Bishops
Sky is happy that she got the grant, however Serena is annoyed that real artists, such as Scott could have done a lot more with it. Sky points out that Serena automatically assumed that he didn't get it.
Pub Office
Max recalls a story of when Summer switched the salt and the sugar shakers and says that is exactly the punishment that Izzy will get for running away. They laugh for a bit, but Max seriously tells her that she can't go running away like she used to do when she was younger. She has people here to love and care about her, and who will be there for her. She promises never to run off and they start to playfully punch one another before Karl comes in, asking for if he can borrow Izzy.
Karl's Office
Karl gives her a handful of postnatal pamphlets and offers himself as a punching bag in the delivery room.
The Pub
At the bar, Lyn remarks how much happier that Max is, now that Izzy has returned.
Tom walks in and surprises Susan. They're both awkward and he apologises for not calling, but Susan buts in and says that it was alright, as she knows about the choice he's made. He's about to say something, when Lyn interrupts the two and mentions that they should leave which leaves Tom looking annoyed.
No.28
Scott answers Serena at the door, although he's less than happy to see her.
SERENA: Am I disturbing you?
SCOTT: I've been disturbed for years, don't you go taking credit for it.
She enquires about the arts grant and wants to know how he went. He blows it off, knowing what the letter would have said anyway. She asks again and Scott reckons that the real reason she is over is because she can't stay away from him. Serena tries to talk to him, but he will only be referred to as Stingray. He's annoyed that she can't even say her name, as if it is like a dirty word and announces her "Princess Serena". He looks sighs at himself after she leaves.
The Pub
Tom and Max start to talk about his relationship with Steph. Max is so grateful that Steph had the guts to say what she really felt, or else they probably wouldn't be together. He was too scared to do anything and this looks like it hits home with Tom.
No.28
Sindi walks in on a crazed Susan who is now attacking the silverware
SINDI: Polishing the silverware, it's always a bad sign.
Susan is frustrated with herself for always being the responsible one and Sindi asks if she saw Tom. She agrees and just wants to a change! Sindi encourages her to go away for a few days, thinking that a change of the street where her problems are will be good for her. Her responsibilities here can be taken care of, including polishing the silverware, which convinces Susan to just go and leave that night. Susan asks if Toadie knows how bossy she is but Sindi says she just lets him believe he is in charge in order to keep peace.
Grease Monkeys (next morning)
Toadie encourages Scott that they're going all out with an unhealthy fried breakfast as long as he doesn't tell Sindi about it. Scott reckons that Toadie is a "dust muncher" which means that he lets Sindi boss him around, he ought to be more assertive like Scott is. He's wrong though, as Toadie tells him that he just pretends that Sindi is in control in order to keep the peace.
Sky walks over to take their order, dressed in 50s inspired outfit of a long black flowing skirt, white t-shirt with a large pink sash around the middle and her hair up in a high ponytail. Scott congratulates her over her arts grant which makes Sky look a bit uncomfortable. He earnestly tells her that it will be great for her to make the most of it. 'Her song' starts to blast and she apologetically tells them that it's her cue to go and do her song and dance routine.
SKY: Remember it's ironic okay!
It's with 2 males and 1 female which is a carefully choreographed danced No.that is something out of Grease!
No.28
Sindi is grilling up a pan-fry breakfast of eggs, tomato and bacon and threatens to 'pluck' Dahl should this get out to Toadie. She greets Tom at the door who is looking for Susan. He looks disappointed when Sindi tells him that she's gone for a few days...though it is probably best that he leave her for awhile. She closes the door, but 2 seconds later opens it and thrusts a piece of paper with Susan's contact details to him.
SINDI: Okay this is where she's staying. And she should be a lot more careful about where I left that lying around!
