The one hander
In Erinsborough Hospital, Toadie is still comatose whilst Sindi is talking to him about everyday events. Lou arrives to visit and send Sindi out for a coffee as she is looking very warn out. Lou talks to Toadie about his guilt and having fallen for Rocco's criminal lies and feels that if Toadie is okay, then he is happy to receive whatever punishment is coming his way.
Later Sindi is in the room with Libby & Ben, who is reading a Spot book. Sindi is feeling a bit tired and emotional whilst Libby assures her that her continual presence and talking is helping Toadie. Sindi says that she is about to tell him her life story and 'if that won't wake him up nothing will!'
When they are alone, she tells Toadie about her previous job as an exotic dancer and her reasons. She had no money and many bills. That's where she met Rocco, but assures Toadie that she only ever loved him, and never any other man. She lies on the pillow next to him and Toadie stirs. Sindi rises to be sitting on the bed beside him as Toadie awakes. We see Sindi through Toadie's eyes, all blurry, and he asks "Dee?"
Later, when Toadie is fully awake, he has visits from a hyperactive Scott, Libby, Connor and Lou, whilst Sindi makes herself busy in the background, feeling a bit out of place. Toadie calls Lou towards him, points at Sindi and asks "Who is that?"
The two plus two hander
After the cliff hanger from last week, David attempts to deal with Serena and Scott burgening love affair. Serena requests to be treated like an adult, but David is very angry at her petulance. The young lovers leave for school walking down the street like they are 'running for the border' leaving an angry faced David staring down the street after them.
Later, David & Lil decide to take a 'reasoned' approach but calmly discussing the issue with Serena. It goes quite well for all concerned as some headway is made, with David & Lil comically going overboard in the calm stakes. David ends up inviting Scott to a BBQ dinner that day.
Later, with Harold & Sky also home, the Bishop family plus Scott sit down to an outside bbq. Scott tries way too hard to be friendly, funny and outgoing, calling David 'Dave' and laughing way too much at the slightest joke. Cue many rolled eyes in his direction.
Inside, Scott has helped clear away the dirty dishes and asks David where to put them. "The sink sounds like a good place!" Scott then has dirty hands which he wipes on Lil's skirt and then takes a handful of her desert cake, much to the disgust of Lil and amusement of Sky.
In the loungeroom, David & Harold discuss the Best Street Competition, and David suggests a community garden to impress the judges, down at Harold's 'old allotment'. Harold comments that he hasn't seen the allotment in ages and doesn't know what it looks like now. Harold challenges Scott to put his enthusiasm and energy to good use by helping, but Scott isn't keen on the work. Until Harold works some reverse psychology on him!
The three hander
Sky is serving in the coffee shop with Harold and has to deal with a very difficult customer, Margaret. Margaret is Karl's date from hell, a month or so ago. She is very particular about having her bread buttered all the way to the edge. Sky scoffs at her when she complains, sarcastically talking about 'such things in peace time'. Harold tells her that she must be nicer to the customers and puts on his customer smile and tries to placate her. But Harold's replacement bread is still not good enough and eventually Harold cracks, telling her that 'you're not J-Lo you know'. He eventually gives up and gives Margaret the meal 'on the house'.
The back hander
Connor is sending a cheque to Lori for his maintenance, when Lou suggests taking the day off tomorrow and driving down to Lorne to see them. Lou also gives Connor a box of Lolly's old toys to give Maddy. Later, Connor asks Lou if he would consider being Maddy's 'grandad' from his side, because Connor isn't close to his own father and Lou could give him parenting advice. Lou is chuffed and accepts. Connor then asks him to come down to Lorne with him and just as they make to leave, Connor gets the phone call about Toadie waking up.
