Charlton Hill Recap
Toadie and Sindi kiss.
Lou's car is out of petrol and won't start.
Rocco tells Sindi he can't wait to discover a whole new her and that they've reached a new level of intimacy.
THE BUSH
Lou is wandering aimlessly in the bush, looking the worse for wear.
NUMBER 30
Toadie tells Stu and Connor that he and Sindi are seeing each other. Sindi turns up and is shocked to find they're 'public' now when Connor congratulates her. Toadie asks them to keep it to themselves. Sindi tells them that Rocco didn't fall for the revolting act she put on at dinner. Connor thinks they would be crazy to tell Rocco about their relationship and tells them what he did when he caught him and Carmella together. Stuart thinks he should have reported it at the time.
THE PUB
Connor tells Rocco they don't know where Lou is, but he doesn't believe it. He threatens Connor with another long ride in his boot if he doesn't keep him posted. Valda's listening and wants to know what happened to Lou - she thinks Trixie might be back on the scene and isn't very happy about it. Connor gets a letter from Immigration services.
RAMSAY STREET
Lou's phone is still lying in the front garden showing that he's got a message. Connor bounds over to No.28.
NUMBER 28
Michelle reads Connor's letter and it says he's got permanent residency, effective immediately. They hug and she tells him he made it happen, but he thinks it's all down to her.
NUMBER 30
Sindi is in a good mood - she thinks love conquers all and is planning another strategy to get rid of Rocco. She wants Toadie to let her handle it. They kiss and then Rocco calls out from the hallway for Toadie.
Sindi is under the kitchen table as Rocco and Toadie discuss Rocco's divorce. Toadie says he might need to get his wife to lie about the date of separation, but Rocco says he's not getting his wife involved. He smells his favourite perfume and thinks Toadie has been entertaining a lady, but he tries to pass it off as aftershave. Sindi looks bemused. Rocco says he doesn't want his wife involved in anything underhand 'no lying or anything, I'll do that' - he thinks they could just blackmail someone. Rocco gets a call and it's 'a lead on Carpenter' - as he gets up he treads on Sindi's hand. He leaves and Sindi is left with bruised fingers.
KARL'S FLAT
Karl is tiring of the mess that he's living in and tells Stamford they need to stop behaving like 14 year old boys. He wants to get out of the flat.
ROCCO'S
Sindi's hand is hurting and she tells Rocco she got in the way of the renovating boys. She tries to ruin the meal she's cooking by adding too much oil and salt but Rocco tells her it's great, just like her and that when they're married she'll never have to cook again.
THE PUB
Stu tells Jack he's a WOM (he puts Women Over Mates) and Jack is not pleased with the analogy. Karl and Stamford turn up and tell them they're heading out for the night. Valda comes in and Michelle tells her she looks lovely. Michelle's helping Connor out as there's a pool comp on. Karl wants to sign up but Stamford wants to kick on elsewhere, so Valda suggests they partner up instead. Stuart and Jack join forces as well.
ROCCO'S
Rocco tells Sindi he may have jumped the gun a bit when he said he was getting divorced, because it will take a while to happen. She says she knew it was too good to be true, but he assures her he's not staying with his wife. Sindi says that's just perfect. She decides to tell him the truth and says she's been doing all kinds of things in the past couple of weeks to get him to break up with her. She says she can't marry him because she doesn't love him. He thinks she's scared but she says she isn't and asks him what he thinks love is. He says it's finding someone you can be yourself with, laugh with, cry with. She says she likes him a lot but she can't go through with it and she never thought things would get this far. He says it's ok, at least now he knows before he makes a complete fool of himself. She apologises but he says it's alright and asks if he gets a hug at least.
THE PUB
Valda is finding it difficult to even hit the white ball, so Stuart thinks they will clear up. Stu teases Jack again about being a WOM and Jack retaliates by asking how many times he's been engaged. Karl is frustrated at Valda's lack of pool ability. Stuart teases her so she suggests they make it more interesting and he's up for a wager. Valda stops bluffing and she and Karl end up cleaning up and take home the winner's cup as well as Stu and Jack's money. Karl tells Valda how surprised he was, but she says she spent a weekend with Eddy Charlton and got some pointers.
NUMBER 30
Sindi tells Toadie that Rocco took the news very well. He was very mature. Toadie isn't so sure. She says she's happy but thinks she should have been honest from the very beginning. She says she didn't tell Rocco about him but doesn't think they should start seeing each other for at least a week because she owes him that much. Plus they were going to take it slow, so what's another week.
THE PUB
Michelle tells Connor she's been thinking about New York - she loved it there, but now that he's in Erinsborough, she thinks she should be with him. She says New York can wait because this is what they dreamed about.
THE COFFEE SHOP
Rocco meets his bumbling henchman and tells him to follow Sindi and not let her out of his sight. He tries to call Lou again.
THE BUSH
Lou is in a very bad way. He writes Harold a letter to ask him to look after Lolly. He gets up to continue walking and comes to a bit of a slope. He tests the ground, but ends up slipping and falls roughly downhill.
