Kennedys
Karl is making coffees for himself and Izzy. Izzy turns the radio on and looks at Karl. Karl apologies and says he was feeling a bit nostalgic. He tells her Susan always tells him he has terrible taste in music. Karl gives her the cup. Izzy says she really shouldn't be here it's after 2am but then again, who is she hurting? Karl replies 'no-one'.

Hoylands
Steph has slept in and Max tells her he didn't want to wake her as she was sleeping so peacefully. Steph says she slept like a baby. Steph gets a little worried that Max was going to change his mind now that he's slept on it, but he's still 100% for it. He even talks about how they'll have to prepare for it. Steph jokes that she's not joining a gym.

MAX: No, I was thinking something more along the lines of practising at home.

Steph says that a baby may never happen but Max says he's positive it will.

STEPH: Now are you sure you wouldn't be glad if I couldn't have a baby?
MAX: Knowing how much you want one - how could that make me glad?
STEPH: I still worry, you know, about how much you want one, deep down.
MAX: Steph I love you and I really, really, really very deep down want us to have a baby.

Boyd overhears them, looking not too pleased.

Scullys
Jack and Joe are at the table eating and reading the paper. Lyn asks Joe is she can ask him something. She tells him a client came into the salon with a dilemma. She saw her friend's husband out with another woman, should she confront the husband, tell her friend or just keep quiet. Joe asks how the porridge is going. Lyn asks Joe to stir it and watch Oscar. She rushes out of the room. Joe looks at Jack

Kennedys
There's a loud knock at the door. Karl answers it in his pajamas and sees Lyn. He asks her what the matter is as he thinks she may need a doctor. Lyn says no she was just out for a walk and was wondering if he'd asked Susan about the beach house yet. Karl says no he hasn't spoken to her yet, then changes it saying he hasn't spoken to her yet about the beach house. He tells Lyn he'd invite her in but the house is a mess and he was in bed. Lyn apologies and eventually leaves.

Ramsay Street
Lyn walks back to the front of her house and talks to Stuart who is fixing Joe's Ute. Lyn asks him if he's moving back into number 30. Lyn keeps looking at the Kennedys and Stuart asks her if she's ok. Stu sees Lou and Trixie on their front lawn and Lou sees Stu fixing Joe's Ute. Lyn sees Izzy coming out of Number 32, she waves at Lyn and gets in her car. Lyn begins to walk inside and quietly says "Thank you God"

Hoylands
Boyd has told Summer about the baby and she's all excited about having something new to play with and teach things to. Boyd tells her it's a baby not a Barbie, and that all babies do is poop and spew. That what he remembers about Summer anyway. He then plants the idea in her head that she won't be the "little princess" anymore, she'll just be the boring middle kid.

Hoylands
Lyn comes over with Oscar's old baby clothes for Steph. She knows it's early days yet, but she couldn't help it. Lyn tells Steph how bossy she was when she was a baby, and that Steph won't know how good it is until she holds her own baby in her arms. Steph's getting quite clucky looking through the clothes and Summer just happens to overhear them saying how much Steph will love her baby to bits.

Ramsay Street
Lou sees Joe and tells him that the Ute is due for a service soon and he has a special for loyal customers. Joe tells Lou he knows what he is trying to do and he is upset he still hasn't been paid for the dressing room. Lou tells him all he had to do was ask and he's just like Joe, waiting to be paid to pay someone else and if he takes work away from the garage he is taking work away from Steph and what about Libby. Lou makes Joe feel guilty about taking money away from a young widowed mum who is living away from her family. Joe caves and says Stu was just fixing the brakes and he'll bring it in for a full service.

Lou and Trixie's
Trixie's is trying to cook muffins but she keeps burning them. Lou comes home and she gives him a muffin then hides the containers she brought them in. Lou comments about the muffins being just as nice as the bakeries ones. Trixie gives Lou his slippers and tells him to relax. She says she's going to be the best wife ever.

Coffee Shop
Summer goes to see Izzy at the Coffee Shop and tells her that she just doesn't want to be some "stepkid" when the baby comes. Izzy reassures her that she won't, and that Max and Steph probably won't have a baby for awhile yet. And her dad will always be her dad and even if Steph's feelings change, Izzy says that Summer will always be her little girl, and she'll always be Aunt Izzy to her. They hug.

Lou and Trixie's
Trixie is trying to iron a shirt. She touches the iron and burns herself. Lou tells her she doesn't have to iron his shirts but she says she wants to. She puts the iron down on the shirt and gets a postcard from Nina to show Lou. She comes back and there's a scorch mark on the back of his shirt. Trixie tells Lou he shirt, Lou hasn't seen the mark and tells her the white one is fine.

Coffee Shop
Izzy's making Karl a special Liver and Kidney cleaners. Karl says he just wants a coffee. Izzy brings he the drink and Karl tells her he can't drink it. Izzy tells him to stop being a baby, she puts a straw in tells him to "drink Karly, drink". Karl drinks it and says it's the best pick me up he's ever had. Izzy puts another straw in it and drinks with him. Lyn walks in and sees them. Izzy stops drinking. Lyn apologises to Karl for waking him this morning. Karl says it's ok and Lyn should try Izzy's drink, it's a lifesaver. Lyn notices Karl isn't wearing his wedding ring.

Coffee Shop
Izzy brings Lyn ver a brownie. Lyn says no thanks but Izzy says it's on the house, she burnt the edges and can't dell it. Izzy asks Lyn if she noticed Karl lots his wedding ring, she says he's devastated and it must of got lose. Lyn says it's usually the other way the rings get tighter over the years and she always thought that was kind of symbolic.

Hoylands
The Hoylands and Steph are sitting down for dessert and Steph offers apple crumble to Summer. Summer's really snappy and moody and asks to eat it in her room. She basically snatches it off Steph and asks Izzy to braid her hair later. When Summer's gone Steph looks a little upset and wonders what's wrong with her. Boyd lets slip that Summer knows about the baby issue. Steph just wants to make it right with Summer, she wants her to know that the baby probably won't come for a couple of years and that she'll even call it Kosta Tzu (the boxer) to make her happy again. Max and Steph decide to have a family meeting.

The family meeting doesn't really go to plan. Steph's trying to make it all better by saying that the baby plans are only early days yet and that her cancer treatment may have affected her chances anyway. Max says that Summer and Boyd will be getting a new brother or sister though because he and Steph really want to have a child together. Summer shouts that she doesn't want another brother or sister because if she gets one she won't be important anymore, "just some dumb step" and she rushes out. Izzy goes after her giving a withering look to Max. And Boyd just wants to go and watch the cricket, he doesn't care either way. So the whole meeting is a mess and Steph's lip is trembling because she's trying not to cry.
