- Jack and Izzy in a hotel room
- Stu getting praised at Life Mechanics
- Boyd finding Steph after she collapses
Boyd yells at Steph to wake up, and Steph quietly says, "Don't leave me". Boyd says he won't, and rings an ambulance.
Joe finds some boxing gloves for Summer. There's a music montage ('Takin Back What's Mine' by Leah Haywood) of Joe and Summer training. They practice boxing moves & skipping. Summer socks Joe one in the jaw with more force than she thought.
Summer and Joe have been telling Max what they've been up to. Max isn't too impressed Joe has been teaching her how to fight. Summer tells Max why she wants to learn, "Declan says I kiss like a fish." "Yeah, she kisses like a fish..." Joe unintentionally announces to the whole Pub. He tells Max that this Declan deserves a good smack in the chops. Max drops his head into his arms in defeat...Trixie loves the signs Lou has made for the 'Tucker Twins', but says that Nina should get equal billing next time. (Lou wrote Trixie's name bigger than Nina's). Trixie's also pleased Lou found her favourite coffee blend...Summer, Joe and Max are still talking about boxing. Joe thinks Summer is pretty good at it, and Summer wants boxing lessons. Boyd rings Max's mobile and tells him that Steph's in hospital. The three of them race off, and Max calls out to Lou where he's going.
Connor and Nina are helping to clean Lou's house. Nina tells Connor that she doesn't know how to tell her mum that she doesn't want to sing with her anymore. They find some faux-fur oven mitts Lou has stashed away, all singed and wet from an experiment gone wrong. Nina suddenly hears one of her songs on the radio... but she hasn't recorded it.
Jack brings over some groceries for Izzy. He tries to kiss her but she's not interested, and gives him the brush off. Jack's annoyed.
Nina's angry that Robbie D was singing her song. She didn't give anyone permission to record her stuff, and gets on her mobile to Melody.
Max, Summer and Joe rush in to find Boyd. Jack comes in not long after, and he and Joe go to find Steph (Watch as Shane trips over Jay's foot...). Max asks Summer to get some hot chocolates so he can talk to Boyd. Boyd tells Max that finding Steph lying there was just like finding his mum all over again. He says he was scared. Max hugs him and says he did all he could.
The Coffee Shop
Nina is astounded that Melody knew all about Robbie D singing her song. Melody endorsed it, and says to Nina that she gave her all her recording rights when she signed the contract. "Didn't your mother go over the contract before you signed it? Didn't you read the fine print?"
Summer races back to Max and Boyd and says that Steph's going to be okay, she's just really sick (she overheard some Doctor's talking). Joe and Jack come back and confirm this saying that Steph got really dehydrated from all the chemo. Joe says Steph's asked for them, especially Boyd.
Izzy's sitting at the dining table by herself. She gets up to look out the window (standing close to a certain wooden dinosaur...). She leaves an annoyed message on Max's voicemail and slams the phone down when she's done.
Stu rushes in and asks what happened and if he can see Steph. Joe says he can't, family only. "Why don't you go back to your new-age mob?" Joe goes into Steph's room...Jack and Joe go off to get some food after Jack makes some weird joke about an Albanian donkey?...Max is relieved that Steph's okay, and Summer thinks that she should camp out in the hospital room for the night to look after her. Steph laughs, then suddenly remembers about Izzy and feels guilty. Max and Summer go out to call Izzy. Steph takes Boyd's hand and tells him that she was so glad he was there with her. "I'm so glad I wasn't alone."
Cuts between Hospital and Hoylands
Max rings Izzy. She goes off on a rant until he tells her Steph's in the hospital. Izzy says she's coming in as soon as she can. She starts gathering some flowers for Steph out of the box on the table.
Nina, Connor, Lou and Trixie are talking about Nina's contract. Trixie can't believe that Nina was so stupid in signing it, then becomes even angrier when she realizes that Nina forged her signature. Lou says he thinks he knows a way out of it, and tells Nina to organize a meeting with Melody.
The Coffee Shop
Stu tells Jonathon about Steph and how he thinks that Joe was right in blaming him. Jonathon disagrees and tells Stu to think about all the good stuff he's done for Steph. Jonathon also says he wants Stu to run a Life Mechanics seminar for him, but Stu isn't too sure.
Izzy finds Max and Jack in the corridor. She tries to see Steph to give her the flowers, but Jack and Max say that she should wait for the nurses to finish with her first. Everything Izzy says, Jack says something snippy back to her. Max notices the weird vibe between them. When Jack walks off Max says to Izzy that Jack's probably still a bit shaken up and not to take it to heart.
Melody gets angry with them all, and Nina says that she'd like to end their professional relationship. She can get out of the contract because the forged signature makes it not valid. Melody walks out saying that she'll get 25% of Nina's royalties, but Lou says they shouldn't worry about it, Melody doesn't have a leg to stand on. Trixie's still angry with Nina though.
Izzy comes back by herself, upset. She throws the basket of food on the floor and strews the box of flowers everywhere. Jack has followed her back, concerned about her. He apologises for being harsh, he was just upset about Steph. "I get angry all the time, wondering why she had to get sick. Watching her in all that pain." Izzy says it'll be alright and gives him a reassuring kiss on the lips.
