Joe and Lyn give Michelle her plane ticket for New York.
Nina trying to sing in the pub, but is put-off by the noisy crowd of air hockey players.
Flick tells Stuart she has something to tell him which he won't like.
No. 30
"It'll only be 6 months" Flick tells Stuart, as he tries to come to terms with the news that she plans to go to New York for 6 months on the Lassiters training scheme. He is concerned whether their relationship can survive. Summer then enters the kitchen to return a lost Bob, but Stuart tells her she can keep him to play with for longer. Stuart then asks Flick if there is anything he can do to change her mind.
No. 32
Boyd is in the lounge, on the phone to Heather. Heather wants to spend time alone with him, but he suggests they go to see Spiderman again. He appears anxious about being alone with Heather; seemingly because he lacks experience in the kissing department. Boyd makes up an excuse to hang up, when Summer enters and mocks Boyd about his lack of experience, to which Boyd tells her she is just a kid. As Boyd leaves in embarrassment, Summer tells Bob she is going to make Stuart a present.

Flick and Stuart are still discussing New York, and how they can make their relationship work. Stuart is worried of losing Flick because there are 'so many guys' in New York.
The Pub
Connor is complaining to Max about the double booking fiasco. He then goes to join Joe, Michelle, Steph and Nina at their table as they praise Nina's wonderful performance, although it turns out Steph missed it because she was late. The conversation then turns to what an idiot Max was for double booking the pub.
No. 26
Flick is on the Sofa with Harvey, stressed about the conversation she's had with Stuart. Joe, Steph, Michelle, Connor and Nina return from the Pub. Steph donates $200 to Michelle's travel fund, much to the disappointment of Michelle who is unsure about still going to New York. However she son cheers up when Flick announces she is planning to go to New York with Michelle.
The Pub
Stuart is drowning his sorrows at the bar, when Max persuades him to play a game of air hockey. He then goes on to the subject of Steph, asking Stuart what sort of girl she is and saying that she strikes him as the 'stubborn type'. Stuart disagrees, leaving Max to think he is the problem and that he's not hit it off well with her.
No. 26
Flick and Steph are in the kitchen having a girlie chat about New York and Stuart. Steph seems apprehensive about their relationship surviving the distance, saying that a lot can happen in 6 months.
Connor and Michelle are on the sofa in the lounge discussing how to make their last few days together special. Michelle wants to do something crazy like walking on hot coals, while Connor is less enamoured with this idea, suggesting something that wouldn't give them third degree burns! Connor tells Michelle he was selfishly happy when she was having second thoughts about New York.
No. 32
Boyd was supposed to be looking after Summer, but he was out with Heather, and Summer is not home when he gets back. Summer then comes in with Bob and Boyd notices she has make-up on. When Max comes home he is upset about the make-up and makes her remove it. Max then thanks Boyd for being so trustworthy to look after Summer, leading to Boyd coming over all guilty for going out.
No. 30
It is the next morning, and a half-asleep Stuart answers the door to Flick. Neither of them has slept well. Flick is about to sit down in the kitchen when something startles her under the table. Stuart looks down and finds Summer who has come to give him the present she made. Stuart is a little annoyed about her letting herself into the house and asks her to leave.
TCS
Connor is discussing with Nina how to make Michelle's last days special. Nina is in a world of her own, and it transpires she has received some fan mail from a secret admirer containing a poem and she is a little freaked out.
No. 32
There is a musical montage of Summer putting on make-up.
No. 26
Michelle goes to see Joe in the garage to thank him for all his fund-raising efforts. To compensate for selling his record collection, Michelle gives Joe a CD: "Greatest Air Guitar Hits of All Time". Joe is worried about the cost because it is a double compilation CD, but Michelle confesses it was in the bargain bin.
TCS
Connor tells Nina she should be pleased about having fanmail, and then jokes that he wrote the letter - he didn't.
Summer comes in and asks Stuart if he has opened the present yet. He hadn't, but proceeds to do so now. It is a blue friendship bracelet, which he puts on and then starts reading his paper, oblivious to Summer's crush.
The Pub
Steph tells Joe she feels pathetic for still living at home when her younger sisters are about to go off and see the world. Joe tells he doesn't want her to leave. Max then interrupts saying she can hang out with Summer if it doesn't make her feel too old; a comment which Steph is infuriated by.
TCS
Joe and Steph enter, still discussing Max's comment.
Summer continues to pursue Stuart, asking if he realises she made the bracelet herself.
An excited Flick enters, having just had the good news that she has passed her driving test.
Max comes in and embarrasses Summer by complaining about her make-up in front of everyone (including Stuart), telling her she looks ridiculous. Summer tells Max she hates him and runs out.
No. 26
Connor, Nina and Michelle are discussing packing. Michelle says she can take 32 kilos of luggage, to which Connor jokes about cutting off his limbs so he can travel in her suitcase. Nina receives a text message from her admirer, which reads:
"I just don't know what to do,
I can't stop thinking of you.
You've taken my heart,
Please don't keep us apart."
Nina doesn't know who it is from and says she finds it a bit creepy, although the look on her face suggests she is also a little intrigued...
