Erinsborough High School
Lyn comes up to Tahnee and says she was fantastic! Tahnee thanks her but says that she really has to go. Lyn persists, saying she has a stand-out voice and why has Michelle never said anything? Doesn't she know? Tahnee answers that Michelle doesn't know and she doesn't want anyone to know.
LYN: If I had a voice like yours, I'd want everyone to hear about it!
TAHNEE: NO way. If the kids at school found out about this, it would mean social death!
She says her parents make her do the choir and can Lyn not tell anyone about it?
LYN: I promise.
She leaves and Nina comes up to Tahnee. Tahnee warns her not to say anything to anyone
The Coffee Shop
Harold greets Saxon and says he'll give him some food on the house. Dee comes up and looks Saxon up and down saying, 'Hello.' Harold thinks they haven't met and introduces them, telling Dee about Saxon's seemingly healthy mother. As Harold prepares food, Dee asks Saxon what's going on. If he doesn't tell her, Harold can! He stops her and says he told him his mum was getting better. The truth is he's living by himself. Dee says she is going to have to tell someone as he needs a guardian. Saxon says his dad is coming, though. Dee agrees to not say anything providing that his dad does show up. Saxon leaves just as Harold comes with his food. Harold starts to say to Dee he gets the feeling she knows him quite well? Dee mumbles about she knows his mum but there's 'patient confidentiality' and all, then leaves, taking Saxon's take away with her.
Lou's Place
Darcy is rambling on about what food to order until Penny stops him and demands she wants an answer. Yes or no? Are they going to get married?
DARCY: Gee, you make it sound so romantic.
PENNY: Yeah well, I just want an answer. Before you go back to talking about chicken or steak!
Darcy takes Penny's hands and tells her that he loves her etc. Penny thinks he's meaning all that as a yes but Darcy says no! What they've got is so good, why do they have to get married? Why do they have to change it? Penny looks upset.

Toadie hands Dee the spare keys and Dee says she has a housewarming present for him, bringing him a box full of tea towels, glasses and other stuff. They pause.
TOADIE: Seems weird, dunnit?
(another small pause)
DEE: When are you going to come and collect the last of your stuff?
They organise dates and Dee says she wants to say goodbye. Toadie says he's not leaving the country or anything!

Lyn and Michelle talk and Lyn oh-so-casually says, 'What's been happening with your friends and that?'
MICHELLE: What do you mean?
LYN: Oh, I dunno...say, Tahnee, for instance.
That's it, Lyn!
Michelle says not much and mentions that her mum's been ill so she thinks that's been getting to her. Lyn suggests they have her over for dinner, Nina too! Connor doesn't think it's a good idea but Lyn says to try anyway.
MICHELLE: Thank you.
(Glares at Connor)
MICHELLE: It's good to know someone likes my friends.
Erinsborough High School
Tahnee is singing by herself in a classroom 'Hark The Herald Angels Sing' as Saxon watches on. The bell rings and she leaves, not noticing him watching on her way out.
Lassiters Complex
Dee is crying softly and Darcy comes up to sit next to her. Dee informs him that she has 'hayfever'. They begin to talk about Penny's proposal to him and he explains why he said no. He was being honest to them both, it would have fallen apart somewhere down the line. Darcy says he owes it all to Dee and she jokes but he then says, 'So. What's wrong?' She avoids the question but then gives in saying she's just having some issues and not to worry.

Nina hasn't done her assignment but Miss says she can do it for next week. She wants someone to volunteer and asks Saxon. He's adapted Macbeth to modern day life and Tahnee snorts. They start to argue and Saxon comes close to telling about her singing to the class. Miss gives them both detention and the bell goes. Michelle approaches Saxon.
MICHELLE: That was really mean.
She says about Tahnee's mum's sickness and asks him to lay off.
Lou's Place
Penny and Darcy sit together as Darcy starts rambling on about oysters. Penny comments on how he's talking about food again. They tackle the problem in hand and Penny's upset they don't seem to be going anywhere. Why bother?
PENNY: I want the fairytale. Other people get to have the fairytale. Why shouldn't I?
Erinsborough High School
Saxon comes up to Tahnee and apologises to her. She accepts his apology and Saxon starts to talk about how both their mums are sick and it's good to have somebody to talk to. Tahnee doesn't want to talk to him about it and goes around the corner only to bump into Nina, demanding for her book back. She wants it back or at least another copy. If Tahnee doesn't give it to her, she'll tell everyone about her being in the choir.
The Coffee Shop
Dee and Saxon are talking. Saxon asks Dee if she's come across a 'Mrs Copin' in Hospital? Dee says she hasn't. Saxon asks Dee to look out for her and Dee says she will, leaving. Harold then comes over to Saxon, saying he has the feeling his mother isn't as well as he says she is? Of course she is, Saxon says, makes his excuses and runs out.

Toadie says to Bob the dog it's time to go. He gives him the advice to never move in with a chick.
TOADIE: She's hot, yeah, but she'd never be interested in me.
BOB: Woof! Woof!
TOADIE: Heh, you're just saying that to be nice.
They leave.
No. 26
Lyn and Joe are off. Lyn hints it would be nice if Michelle and Connor cooked dinner and Michelle says sure and that she'd like to invite Tahnee around. Of course, Lyn's pleased and Joe wants to know when she joined her fan club.
LYN: Well, she just seems like a nice kid!
Joe and Connor disagree and then Lyn drags Joe out. Michelle immediately demands to know what Connor said to Joe about Tahnee and Connor looks away.
No. 30
Dee picks up a picture of Toadie as the very man himself knocks on the door, returning a T-shirt he must have accidentally picked up. Actually, he wants to talk about something else as well...Saxon knocks on the door, taking Dee up on her offer of dinner. Of course, Toadie goes all boyish and, of course, there was nothing that he wanted to talk about. Humph.
No. 26
Michelle and Connor are preparing dinner and arguing about Tahnee.
MICHELLE: This is SO unfair, it happens with all of my friends!
Michelle says she really likes Tahnee and doesn't care what Connor or her dad think. Cue storming out of the room.
Lassiters Complex
Joe and Lyn say hi to Penny just as a horse-drawn carriage pulls up. Everyone has turned around to look and Penny looks hopeful when she sees Darcy on the back. He hops off saying he loves her. After a pause, Penny asks isn't there more? Darcy says he just said what he needed to say and says for everyone to hear, 'I love this girl! I love her.', Penny realises it isn't what she thought it was and runs off crying. Joe, Lyn, and several other people look on in amusement/curiosity.
