Recap
- Elle tells Liz that she wishes to stay in Erinsborough
- Someone watches Flick and Marc in the rotunda
Ramsay Street
Flick arrives back soaked from the rain and spots Stuart arriving back with the distinct yellow jacket that the random person in the park was wearing. He was out taking photographs, and spotted them in the rotunda. She starts to cry so takes her inside to number 30.
Scullys
Libby is telling the girls of the time that Lou rigged up her and Drew's wedding car with cans and all-sorts, and then Harold came along and snipped them all off, annoying Lou big time. Joe arrives but doesn't wish to stay and chat - he'll just sign the cheques. He wonders where Flick is and Lyn recons she'll be along in a bit. Lyn offers for Joe to help choose colours, but he decides to take Harvey for a walk.
LIBBY: He's so well trained.
LYN: Who? Joe or Harvey?
The girls laugh, and Lyn brings up the topic of table arrangements. Dee suggests the style where it's a big U with the Scullys down one side and the Lambert's down the other. Steph wonders how many of the Lambert's will actually turn up.
STEPH: No-one is going to spoil my day, not even Dame Chloe
DEE: Mother in law from hell?
Steph mentions that she's meeting Chloe tomorrow, so the girls offer to drop by for moral support. Lyn reminds Steph that it's hers and Marc's happiness that counts, and no one else.
Number 30
Stu passes Flick some dry clothes and tells her she can't be so upset if she was just sheltering from the rain. He encourages her to open up to him, so she tells him about the time when Marc stood up for him against Chloe and came over to the house, where they kissed. She knew kissing him was wrong, but she couldn't help it and is now in love with him. She's tried to put her feelings to one-side but every time she sees him she can't help it and she thinks he loves her too. Steph doesn't know, but she can't find a way to tell her as she's so happy with the wedding plans.
Kennedys
Darcy and Karl arrive, with Darcy claiming it was a really dangerous poisonous snake. Karl mocks him but Darcy seems deadly serious. Karl tells him Stuart wouldn't have picked up a poisonous snake, but Darcy points out how he could've wrapped itself around Ben or something. Elle teases Darcy for being scared, and they decide to keep the information from Libby. Liz rings for Elle but she chooses not to speak to her.
Number 30
Flick wonders if she should tell Steph or not. Stu tells her he only found out about Tracy by catching them in the act, and he would still be ignorantly married now if he hadn't. Flick realises that she won't be able to hide it from Steph for much longer and that she must tell her.
Coffee Shop
Darcy meets with Liz and encourages her to talk with Ellie one to one, before she leaves to make up with her. Liz seems adamant that Ellie is better off to become an independent girl without her, but Darcy tells her she is wrong. Liz tells him she wants to make a new start in Sweden with Lars, and will send for Ellie when the time is right, but Darcy reminds her that she can't leave her past behind.
Scullys
Flick arrives home as the girls leave. She apologises for being late, claiming she was busy at work. Steph rushes her through to the kitchen and excitedly shows her the wedding plans before asking if she can keep a secret. She thinks she's pregnant.
Next morning, Steph wonders how she can get out of meeting Chloe but her parents tell her she'll be fine. Joe and Steph head out as Flick wanders through, she's decided to call in sick and realising she's not ill, Lyn wonders if she's avoiding Marc. Lyn asks if she's got a crush on him, which Flick denies. Lyn pulls out the photo she found in a magazine in her room, but Flick explains it's from the photo shoot that they did.
Coffee Shop
Karl spots Ellie sitting at a table, missing school. He decides not to talk about school, but encourages her to write a letter to her mum, helping her to get it off her chest. Ellie isn't sure, but he tells her she doesn't have to post it.
Joe and Chloe arrive simultaneously. He asks if he can talk to her for a moment, and tells her that their kids are happy together and he understands that the Scullys aren't quite the in-laws she was hoping for. He tells her not to take out her disappointment on Marc and Steph as they are so happy, and that this wedding is going to be a big event for the Scullys which he hope she and John will be a part of.
Scullys
Flick brings through the remainder of the photos from the photo shoot to prove to Lyn that the one she found in the magazine doesn't mean anything. Lyn tells her not to take it so seriously, and that there's nothing wrong with thinking Marc is good looking. She tells Flick that one day she'll find a boyfriend who is just as nice as Marc. Joe arrives and mentions how he might have just put his foot in it with Chloe regarding the wedding.
Kennedys
Ellie finishes writing the letter to her mum. She admits that it has made her feel better and decides to head off to school. Karl picks up the letter and starts to read it. It seems as though Ellie just wants her mum to love her.
Lassiter's
Liz hands back the letter to Karl, who agrees he won't tell Ellie she has seen it. Liz heads off to receive a phonecall, presumably from Lars.
Scullys
Steph arrives back as the others are discussing the possibilities for the hen party. Chloe arrives on cue and she and Steph head through to the kitchen. Chloe tells Steph that she's been thinking, and the way Steph refused the motorcycle, combined with Joe's speech about how committed the Scullys are to life long relationships, has made her realise that she and Marc are good for each other and that she blesses the wedding. Steph is keen to tell the others, but first Chloe gives her a present of the earrings she wore at her wedding, to use as the 'something old'. Lyn is pleased to hear the news that Chloe and John will be attending, but Chloe has to head off. Before doing so she tells the girls of how her friends took her away for a weekend for the hen night, and Dee is excited by the idea, as then Steph shan't be able to escape!
Kennedy's
Karl arrives home to find Elle cooking a roast dinner. He tells her that she is more than welcome to stay at theirs for as long as she wants. There is a knock at the door; it's Liz. Karl invites her to stay for dinner, but Ellie doesn't look so keen on the idea.
Number 30
Darcy comes over to thank Stuart for helping him with the snake; he's brought him a small token - a bag of snake sweets! Stuart invites him in to watch the football. Darcy gets him to admit that it wasn't an Eastern Rainbow Viper but a harmless carpet snake. Darcy claims that if he'd known the truth he could've handled it himself. Stuart gets up and picks up the snake introducing him to a rather shocked Darcy as his new housemate, Howard.
Kennedys
Ellie talks to Karl about the possibility of a skiing trip, but Karl isn't so sure on the idea. Liz mentions that there is plenty of snow in Sweden, and that she's spoken to Lars, so that Ellie can come and live with her and the baby and they can be a family again.
