House of Trouser
Dee springs Stuart trying to set up a romantic breakfast, and mocks his attempts at coffee and croissants, as she spots the fancied up stale old bread on the table. She asks where her coffee is.
Scullys
It would seem the place for coffee is over at The Scullys; where Lyn is persuading Steph to start making some decisions over the wedding. Flick points out that some reception venues are booked years in advance, and Steph mentions how she was just thinking of a barbie in the back yard. Lyn is shocked by the idea but Steph tells her she was joking. She continues to joke how she could have motorbikes as the mode of transport with Stanno and Jono as chauffeurs. Lyn is horrified!
Libby and Drew's
Drew is rushing about getting ready for work when Lib spots that he's ripped his shirt to get it over the plaster cast.
LIBBY: How many do you intend on ripping, just this one or all of them?
DREW: Oh, all of them!
LIBBY: Oh yeah, cause we can really afford that many new shirts!
Libby wonders if they should sue Terry, but Drew isn't so keen on the idea. Libby points out that she's prevented him from earning an income by putting his arm in a cast, but Drew reminds her the cast will be off soon and a court case could go on for much longer, plus there's the extra stress that they don't need. She recons there's principles involved, but Drew heads off to work.
House of Trouser
As Stuart mucks about being late for work Dee opens the door to Darcy, still in her pyjamas. He compliments her and she jokes about the bedtime look, before asking him what he was after. Stu appears and puts his hand on Dee's shoulder, causing Darcy to make a quick exit.
Scullys
Flick opens the door to Marc, who quickly slips her something, possibly a key, before heading on in to meet Lyn and Steph. Lyn brings up the wedding date subject again and Steph tries to divert conversation. Marc mentions that they could do it when they meet his parents, and suggests Lanzini's as a possible location. Lyn offers for them to do it at their place and Marc agrees, saying he'll arrange it.
Garage
After a not so successful phone call with a customer Drew hangs up the phone and gives Stuart a list of client names, informing him that they are all bad paying customers and they won't be taking any more service from them 'till they pay up. He tells Stuart to memorise it as he grabs a spanner. Stu perches on the desk, whistling, and admits that Dee is making him happy.
Surgery
Darcy comes out whistling as Karl files some notes. He asks him what he's so happy about so he tells Karl he's decided to look after 'numbero uno' from now on.
DARCY: Life is too short
KARL: and so is my patient list.
They peer around the surgery to see the empty waiting room. Drew rushes in and informs them that the wheel brace slipped. He heads into Karl's room, but not until he hears the 'numbero uno' speech from Darcy.
Terri's
Libby informs Terri that because of her action, Drew has had to give up his bouncer job, and they now only have one income to survive from. Terri tries to apologise but Libby tells her that her job has put her family at risk. Terri is unable to say anything as Libby threatens her with legal action, should she come near them again.
Drew and Libby's
Lib arrives back to find Drew and Karl making lunch. Karl explains how Drew came to see him and he thought he'd come and get some lunch and see his grandson at the same time. Libby tells Drew he should be more careful, but Drew doesn't seem to want the fuss. He asks where she was, and she explains how she went to tell Terri a few home truths. Karl informs Libby that Ben needs changing but it backfires as she tells him to do it himself to earn his lunch.
Garage
Dee comes to visit Stuart, but refuses to kiss him with the oil all over his face. She invites him out to lunch, but he has to stay and cover for Drew. He asks if she'll get him anything and promises something in return but won't say what. In the end she agrees and heads off to buy him some pies.
Lassiter's Hotel
Flick and another girl are at the desk filling in application forms. The girl comments how she's been waiting ages to get a place on the Lambert training course and Flick agrees. Marc comes by and the say hello, but Flick doesn't let on how much she knows him. The girl is disappointed to see Marc is taken as he heads out to see Steph, who has just pulled up in her Moco van. He tells her he has a surprise for her but won't let on what it is.
Coffee Shop
Lyn and Libby sit down for a coffee and Lib asks Lyn what it was like after having a baby and if she had Joe went back to having sex. Lyn tells her that she felt to tired and there was so much to do with the baby, so she didn't feel like it but Joe was always eager. Lib seems a bit down that Drew isn't as eager but Lyn reminds her that they are all different. Lib asks how long it'll be before she wants to do it again but Lyn points out that it's the great hormonal question. She prescribes a cup of tea and a sticky doughnut in the meantime.
Over at the counter; Darcy bumps into Dee with her lunch for Stuart. She asks him what he wanted earlier and he tells her he would like to ask her out and still wants to. Dee is a bit shocked.
Lassiter's Park
Marc leads Steph blindfolded through the park to a table set for two in the rotunda. He takes the blindfold off and presents her with an engagement ring. Flick watches on through the bushes as Steph thanks Marc with a kiss.
Marc informs Steph that the ring belonged to his grandmother and is a family heirloom. Steph can't stop smiling as he cracks open the champagne, though requests that they start on the food. He tells her of how they are going to 'take on the world' and go travelling together.
Libby and Drew's
Terri hands Drew a hamper of goodies as way of an apology. She mentions how she isn't getting off scott free and is under question about the incidents. Drew is understanding towards her and thanks her. Just as she is about to leave, Libby arrives back but makes no effort to be nice to her.
Scullys
Lyn frets over what to cook for the Lamberts, and Flick doesn't help her by agreeing it was a bad idea to agree in the first place. Flick suggests that maybe she could get Matt to cater so that she can prance about being a host. Lyn likes the idea so Flick goes on to suggest that they could organise a surprise engagement party for Steph. Lyn comments that she could bring her mystery boyfriend along with her but Flick mentions how he is no longer available. Lyn tells her she's bound to meet lots of new men in her new job.
Drew and Libby's
As Marc enjoys holding young Ben, Drew and Libby grab some drinks in the kitchen. Libby is still annoyed at Terri and doesn't seem to be warming to the idea of letting her off the hook. Drew though stands by his forgiveness. They head over to Steph and Marc on the sofa and toast to their engagement.
Surgery
Dee tells Karl of her new massage course that she's taking and asks if she could have some space at the surgery for her patients. He tells her to get back to her with the details of when would suit her and encourages her to finish the course. As they head out she bumps into Darcy who tells her that her and Stuart won't last. She tells him to 'get over himself', before leaving.
Scullys
Steph is showing off her ring to Flick and Lyn, and tells them all about the meal in the park. She mentions how it was such a good fit and is surprised at the chances. She tells them how sexy Marc looked holding Ben earlier and she and Lyn start going gooey over good looking men with babies. The second round of giggles begin!
House of Trouser
As Stuart prepares the dinner, Dee lays the table. When she isn't looking he comes over and hits her playfully with a spatula, so she retaliates with the wooden spoon. Just as full warscale is about to commence there is a knock at the door. Dee goes to answer it leaving Stu to juggle with eggs! Dee returns informing Stu that his fiance is at the door. The eggs land splat on the floor.
