Karl's temp Serena invites him for a drink.
Harold sees two council workers replacing the Ramsay Street sign with "Ramsbottom Street".
Ramsay Ramsbottom Street
Harold, Karl, Lyn and Joe are observing the new sign. Harold says he won't take it lying down. Lyn says that she hopes her post isn't redirected.
Scullys
Michelle is telling Flick that Zak's mural is the most beautiful gesture anyone has ever done for her - she thinks Zak has changed. Flick tells her not to get in too deep in case she gets hurt. They agree that love "rocks" though!
Scullys
Karl is standing on the piano looking out of the window with the security camera and Susan tells him off. She says that Karl will end up a spooky old man and children will quickly run past the house!
Karl tells Susan that he's got a new temp.
A Good Hair Day
Flick is washing someone's hair reluctantly. Bella is trimming a Serena's hair. Serena is saying how she's impressed her boss. Susan hears this and is stunned when Serena continues that her job is at the surgery.
Coffee Shop
Harold has been down to the council to get an appointment to see the mayor but he can't have one for two weeks. He chats to Joe about the insurance situation. Joe hasn't managed to get another insurer yet - it will cost him a fortune to change as well.
Surgery
Darcy is flirting with Serena telling her she has beautiful eyes. Karl comes out and Serena seems to be staring at him. She offers to get him some coffee but he declines.
Susan comes in and asks to see Karl but Serena tells her Karl is too busy to see anyone. Susan tells her pointedly that she's his wife.
A Good Hair Day
Flick drops stuff all over the floor, much to Lyn's despair. She sends Flick off to get coffee for everyone.
Outside Lassiter's
Flick sees Matt and he tells her he's going to buy a car. Harold comes up and says there's new graffiti and he thinks Michelle has got something to do with it.
Coffee Shop
Harold sees Michelle sitting at a table and asks her about the graffiti that's all over the neighbourhood - "Michelle" in big letters. Michelle says it's beautiful and also legal - the council have sanctioned it. Harold is not pleased.
Karl is telling Susan that Serena is a bit extreme in her receptionish job. Susan mentions that Serena is very attractive.
Surgery
Joe is paying for his appointment and Darcy calls him in to ask how things are going. He tells Joe about his investment and tries to get Joe to invest too. But Joe says he's skint.
Karl comes in and Serena tells him that he's wearing a really nice shirt!
A Good Hair Day
Lyn tells Flick that they have to talk. Flick thinks that Lyn is talking about Michelle and wants Lyn to talk to her about the birds and the bees. Flick tells Lyn that she's really enjoying being at the hairdressers at the moment. Lyn is disappointed and strainedly tells Flick that she's made a quite a difference around the salon!
Scullys
Lyn is telling Joe that Flick is worse than hopeless at the Salon. Joe sees a drawing on the table and Lyn explains that Zak has declared his love for Michelle. Joe says he hopes Zak is behaving himself!!
Joe watches the news on TV. The article says that Joe's insurance company has gone bust. He looks stunned.
Ramsay Ramsbottom Street
A mystery figure sprays white paint over the Ramsbottom Street sign.
Scullys
Lyn asks Michelle about the graffiti but she insists it's art! Michelle says she's very happy and Lyn thinks Michelle should invite Zak round for dinner. She starts to give Michelle "the talk" but Michelle says she already knows "the talk" off by heart!
Bishops
Joe asks Harold what on earth he can do now. He says that he hasn't been able to tell Lyn yet. Harold recommends that Joe cuts his losses and gets some new insurance. Joe can't afford it and also can't risk working without it. Joe says that without insurance, he's personally liable for all the building work he's done in the last 6 years. If he doesn't come up with the money soon, not only will he go bankrupt, he could also face prosecution.
Ramsbottom Ramsay Street
The spray painter has written "Ramsay Street" back on to the sign.
Lassiter's, the following morning
Michelle seems that her mural has been painted over.
Coffee Shop
Matt thinks that Harold repainted the street sign, but he says he had nothing to do with defacing it. Matt clearly doesn't believe him though!
Kennedys
Karl is having coffee when Serena comes to the door. She tells Karl that she wants to get into work early to sort out the files. She compliments him on his house and offers him a lift to work. Then she picks up a book from the table and says that it's really good. Karl says he'll put out the rubbish to give him a chance to usher Serena out of the house.
Susan comes out of her bedroom and sees Karl and Serena on the security camera. She sees Serena put her hand on Karl's chest (the hussy!) and gets an odd look on her face. She's clearly thinking 1998 has come again!
