Recap
Michelle asks Zack to meet her tomorrow to clean the pond and he agrees.
Karl tells Susan that he's going to let Darcy win.
Outside the School
Karl says selling the surgery will release him - he's fed up of fighting for it. He says he might retire or do something else like grow veggies(!) Susan thinks that Darcy's actions are so wrong - he shouldn't ever have done this to Karl and she doesn't think they should let Darcy get away with it. Karl says that Darcy has already got away with it.
The Garage
Libby still wants to write the story about The Chronicle - she no longer has any voice as a journalist thanks to them. Drew isn't happy about it though
Steph comes in and notices the tense atmosphere, but Drew tells her that everything is fine.
Scullys
Michelle is reading a quiz about "knowing the one you love" to Bianca over the telephone while Joe looks through his bills. He tells Lyn that he had to sack a second bloke today.
Lyn asks why Michelle is so dolled up to go pond-skimming! Joe says he's glad Michelle is too concentrated on her veganism to think about boys(!)
The Pond
Zack meets Michelle. He offers her a chocolate bar, but Michelle reminds him that she's vegan. Michelle starts asking him questions from the "know the one you love" quiz, like what his favourite colour is! Michelle is quite nervous, but they get on well.
No.30
Joel says that all the study will be worth it when he can use his degree to get a decent job. Toadie says that he's going to be mega-rich one day. Joel moans that marine biology is so over-subscribed and jobs are scarce. Dee comes in and offers them a cup of tea, but Joel says that Toadie only drinks French Champagne(!)
Dee puts a video on as Toadie answers the phone to Tim Collins - he wants Toadie to do some research for a case they're doing. Dee reminds him that he's not even employed by them yet(!)
The Garage
Drew is distracted and Steph tries to get him to talk about things. He finally admits that he's really worried about Libby - he can't understand why she wants this magazine on top of everything else. He says that Steph and Woody only wanted each other, then immediately realises what he's said and apologises. He can't understand why Libby has chosen to go with the magazine now. Steph says maybe Libby is trying to be someone - to make her mark. Drew says that Libby already is someone to him.
The Pond
Zack and Michelle haven't got much work done. Zack sees some of his mates and goes off with them.
Dee comes out of the surgery with Karl. She's been having some tests done. It looks like diabetes, but there's no family history of it. Karl suggests the only possibility is gestational diabetes, but Dee would need to be pregnant for that. Dee assures him that she isn't pregnant.
Darcy comes by and Karl tells him that he's got some news - he's decided to sell the surgery. Darcy is delighted and tells Karl he won't be sorry. He says it's the best option for everyone, but Karl is not convinced and walks away.
The Coffee Shop
Drew comes in and sits with Libby at a table. He kisses her gently on the lips, much to her surprise. He offers to get started on her lightbox if she'll come down to the garage and check the sidecar out. Karl comes in and tells them that he's selling the surgery - he has no alternative.
No.30
Joel answers the phone to Toadie's mum. Toadie tells her that he's busy, but it turns out to be Tim Collins, not his mother! Toadie says he's found out some stuff about the case (butterflies).
Dee comes in and takes an interest in the case - apparently it's about smuggling butterflies(!)
The Garage
Steph is showing Michelle the skeleton of the sidecar. Michelle is distracted though - she's wondering how you can tell if a guy likes you or not. Steph says usually guys will talk about themselves or lend you some of his things. She tells Michelle just to be herself and things will go well.
Libby, Drew and Joe come in. Drew starts the car and sidecar and Steph cheers.
The Pond
Michelle is cleaning the pond when Zack comes up. He gives her a book on Social Politics that he got from the library. Michelle is delighted with it, not because of the book but because Zack has lent her something!
No.30
Dee tells Toadie that she's just going out to see her mother.
Before she goes, Toadie tells her to wait because he wants to talk to her about her health.
Tim rings at that moment and Toadie offers to email him his butterfly research. But now he wants Toadie to talk to someone in Eden Hills about a complicated case. Dee decides to leave him to it!
Outside Lassiters
Zack and Michelle are walking along and Zack is enquiring about Michelle's exes. Michelle says she's single at the moment.
Karl tells Darcy that he's got everything he wants - he can't expect a happy family as well. Karl and Susan walk away.
No.30
Toadie pretends to calls Tim about the cases. Toadie tells Joel that Tim says he never gave him any work to do! Tim thought Toadie was taking the mick and has sacked him! Joel looks very guilty. Suddenly Toadie laughs - it was a ruse of his own to flush Joel out. Joel admits that he rang Toadie up with false cases! He says he thought Toadie needed a leveller. Toadie tells him light-heartedly to stick to fish!
Libby and Drew's flat
Libby is working on the magazine, and Drew still isn't happy about it. He says she's not given to revenge so he can't work this situation up. Libby says that when the Chronicle dumped her and noone else would give her work, it felt like they were taking away everything she'd ever dreamed of. Drew asks her if she doesn't want the baby anymore. Libby suddenly starts to cry and tells Drew that she's really scared. Drew hugs her and reassures her that they have a great medical team who will do a caesarian in time.
LIBBY: I might die!
DREW: I won't let you.
Libby sobs in Drew's arms.
The Coffee Shop
Drew comes in to get some takeaway and sees Steph. He thanks her for her help earlier today. Steph tells Drew that she's got $1000 extra in her account than she expected - and she doesn't think it's a mistake. Drew tells her to just tear up her statement and count her lucky stars! But Steph says she's got a really bad feeling about it.
