The Scullys are back from attending Madge's funeral. Flick says she is going out and Lyn says she would like to spend some family time together.

Drew and Libby's Place
Libby is still upset after the funeral. Drew asks if she is ready for Mal's wedding and Libby wishes Drew was coming too. Their upstairs neighbour starts playing music so they bail out to the pub.

The Scullys are having lunch reminiscing about Madge. The phone rings and Michelle asks if she can go out with her mates. She leaves and Flick takes that as a sign she can go too. Steph now take the opportunity to ask Joe and Lyn if Woody can stay when he gets out of prison.

Lou's Place
Drew and Libby are wondering how they can solve the problem of the neighbour playing music. Libby suggests blasting music back at him or with kindness by inviting him round for a meal.

Lyn, Joe and Steph are discussing Woody staying and what it was like when he was there last. Joe and Lyn aren't keen but Steph eventually convinces them to allow Woody to stay as long as there is no trouble. Flick overhears them agreeing and says its one rule Steph to bring her boyfriend home from jail but she can't go out with a boy from across the road and says it is double standards.

Outside
Michelle joins Bianca and they watch boys skateboarding. Bianca fancies one of the boys and wants Michelle to go talk to him for her.

Lassiters Lake
Steph has figured out where Flick would be and they have a chat about Joel. Flick apologises to Steph for blowing up about Woody staying, which she doesn't mind if he does. Flick tells Steph she hates Joe especially when he treats her like a 7 year old. Steph reassures her it will get easier and offers to take Flick for a ride on her bike so she can think.

Outside
Michelle is telling Bianca the result of her chat with the boy. Michelle says that she got tricked into saying Bianca was a good skater and that she has to prove it. Bianca tells Michelle she has to skate instead.

Lou's Place
Matt introduces Evan to Drew and Libby. Matt asks them if they have noticed any changes in Lou recently. Drew says he's had a lot to contend with lately and things will settle down.

Outside
Michelle is getting ready to show off her skateboarding skills but promptly falls off as she approaches a ramp. Whilst on the ground Michelle recognises the wood and that it has been stolen from Joe's. Michelle goes to get Joe and tells Bianca to stay and keep them occupied.

Drew and Libby's Place
Libby has posted an invitation to the noisy neighbour to come for a meal but Drew is sceptical that it will work. He has spotted an article in a magazine about an actor adopting a child from Sudan and they start to read it.

Joe and Lyn are relaxing talking about Joel going away and Flick reaction when she discovers he's left when Michelle comes in and tells them about finding the stolen wood. They head off out.

Outside
By the time they have arrived the boys have gone. Bianca tells them they removed it in a ute but didn't get the registration number. Joe says they will go to the police instead.

Drew and Libby's Place
They finish reading the article and comment on how expensive it is. They agree to make official enquiries into adopting. They notice a note being pushed through the door - the neighbour has a dig at them and accepts the invitation, however he can only make it when Libby is away.

Lyn, Joe and Michelle are back from the police moaning that they didn't seem interested. Joe goes to answer the phone when Steph and Flick come in and get brought up to speed about the wood. Lyn hands Flick a letter from Joel and she goes off to read it in her room. Joe comes back in and tells them the phonecall wasn't good news.
