Karl stays with Harold. He organises for Cassandra to come in to take over from him. Harold gets more upset and Karl encourages him to go home.
Joel tells Toadie that his father, Bernie, is coming to stay - but not to worry about it because he's just like one of the boys. Toadie tells him that their boss at the station, Tony, thinks they are running low on ideas and he's come up with a good discussion point - which is better in a relationship, love or lust?
At school, Tad decides he's going to give up DJ school to keep away from Simone. Paul and Felicity try to encourage him to change his mind and Felicity says she'll go with him if that'll make him feel better about it. They notice that someone has stuck copies of the article from the Erinsborough News about Harold on their lockers. Tad and Paul get annoyed and wonder what they can do to help him.
Toadie and Joel start to ask people around Lassiters about love and lust. They find Tad, Paul and Felicity. They give good answers but Joel gets distracted when he spots Dione sitting at Lou's Place. Toadie encourages him to ask her the question. They do and she goes on quite a bit. Basically she says that lust is a physical attraction but love is more complex, you need a bit of both in a relationship. Joel takes heed of her words!
Harold and Madge get a visit from their solicitor, Frank. They discuss what has happened and Frank says that there is no physical evidence against him, just the photo fit, his admission that he was in Tasmania at the time and his loss of memory. He encourages him not to be so happy to volunteer information about that. He says that if he can just remember some of his movements around the time of the crime he could be out of trouble.
At Uni FM, Toadie and Joel work on editing the love/lust debate. Joel isn't concentrating and when he hears Dione's speech again something clicks in his mind and he runs off to call her.
Madge tries to encourage Harold to think positively about the whole thing, but gets worried when Frank mentions that Harold could be extradited to Tasmania and could even go to jail overnight until bail is granted.
Toadfish tries to get Stephanie to add something to the love/lust debate - he's eventually able to get her to say something and she says that you really need to know someone to love them. She mentions that she though she was in love once, for a while, but she was wrong. She still seems a little upset by it. They stop recording and Steph asks if he's still on for dinner - he says yes and she mentions that she's organised to meet Teresa there. Toadie say no, it's got to just be the two of them.
At the pub, Teresa and Steph make up over their recent arguments about Brendan. Lance and Dione join them and they're still discussing the love/lust debate. Joel turns up and takes Dione aside, he tells her that it's all clear now and they kiss. I'm confused as to what exactly is clear but there you go... Toadie turns up and Joel takes him aside to tell him what's happened with Dione - he thanks him for making him see sense.
Tad and Paul give Harold a present - a second-hand tuba! He's over the moon and bowled over by their generosity.

Toadfish gets back to Number 30 and interrupts Joel and Dione. Dione goes to make some coffee while Joel tells Toadie how happy he is. Toadfish says he's great at fixing other people's relationships but no good with his own. He says he's everyones best mate but no-one ever really loves him.
