Karl says it has to be a mistake. Susan says she's going to strangle Libby. Karl suggests that maybe they've been laying it on a bit thick and it might be their fault. Susan says she's just going to ask her about it, they deserve to know what's going on.

Michelle and Bianca find out that someone is living in the odd house, but he is a real recluse and is hardly ever seen. They decide they're going to ask if he wants any odd jobs done. Michelle says she'll put the leaflet through the door but she bottles out and runs back when she hears a noise, she chucks the leaflet on the ground and they run off.

Harold goes to see Karl at the surgery about not being able to sleep very well. He tells him that he only sleeps in short bursts and worries about little things, which keeps him awake. Karl asks when Madge gets back and Harold says a few weeks (woohoo!) - Karl predicts that his sleeping problems will probably get better once she's back.

Drew and Libby discuss the wedding at the Coffee Shop and start to think that it might not be the best idea to run away after all. Harold tells them that he and Madge would be happy to make their cake. Susan arrives and Libby invites her to join them. Susan says she'd love to, but asks if they mean here or in Fiji! Libby and Drew tell Susan that they just couldn't take anymore. They decide they will all discuss things later that evening.

Dione and Joel meet at the pub and he asks her if she's still going out with Marcus. Dione says that she is. Joel asks if she'd like to go out tonight, she says that'll be great. When Joel goes to get a drink, Dione calls Marcus on her mobile and tells him that she can't meet him tonight.

Lou and Merridy meet by Lassiters Lake. Merridy says she misjudged him when she first met him - she thought he was pig-headed! Lou says he thought she was bossy. They both agree their first impressions were probably correct, but in a nice way! Lou says there's far more to a person than meets the eye and that's the nice part about getting to know people better. Their conversation is interrupted by a phone call from Louise's babysitter to say she'll be late, Merridy says she'll help out.

Bianca tells Michelle that one of her friends said someone was murdered at that odd house. Michelle calls Harold over and asks him about the house to find out if he knows anything - Harold says the guy living there isn't very sociable, he had a bereavement a while back and has kept himself to himself ever since.

Susan, Karl, Libby and Drew have it out about the wedding. To make a change, Karl is the calm one and Susan is the angry one! Karl tells them that he might have come across as a bit of a penny-pincher, but they were planning to try to save some money here and there so that they could give it to them, with a bit more, as a deposit on a house. Libby and Drew start to feel guilty and apologise. Libby tells them that they want to go through with the wedding, it just got a bit overwhelming and she had no idea it meant so much to them. They all make up! Ahhh.

Bianca and Michelle go back to the house and both head slowly towards the door when they realise the list has gone. They knock but don't get a response, as they're about to leave, their list comes underneath the door and the guy has ticked that he wants his windows washed.At the pub, Dione tells Joel that she likes both him and Marcus. She says that Marcus wants to get serious, but she's not sure she does.Merridy arrives at the pub and wants to talk to Lou. She tells him that there's something she's been trying to tell him all day - she's taken a teaching job in the Northern Territory, it's something she's always wanted to do. She says she put the application in some months ago and wasn't planning on making any attachments before she applied - she's not sure how she feels about it now. Lou tells her congratulations are in order. She asks if he'll miss her. He says of course he will but now he thinks a drink's in order, a bottle of his finest. Merridy is disappointed by his reaction.
