Doug tells Cody that he saw Michael just now. Cody asks if they can use the garage for band practice.
Doug wonders about doing a deal with Lou.
Pam says the garage is booked for today as she's stripping down the transmission on the bike.
Gaby comes out saying she feels like death and mentions to them that Mark has resigned. She might take the day off today.
Katarina pops round to see Mark and he tells her that he's quit his job. He's having some regrets now though.
Katarina suggests that she makes him some breakfast while he has a shower (they won't be going to the markets today)
Gaby is lying on the sofa reading a magazine when Kris pops round. He asks her if she's OK because he heard she called in sick. She assures him that he is. He suggests that he takes her to a place in the countryside for some "fresh air". She's initially unsure, but Pam encourages her to go.
Mark is raving over Katarina's breakfast which is apparently very good. Mark is still ranting about what Gaby said to him, but allows that he has been a bit erratic lately. They talk about Annalise and Mark says that he doesn't think she's very supportive.
It's actually just the local park that Kris has brought Gaby to. They start throwing boomerangs and Kris is surprisingly adept.
Doug is looking for the registration papers for his ute. Pam finds them on the floor.
Gaby and Kris are still throwing boomerangs. Gaby is getting better at it - in fact, so much so that it returns, hits Kris on the head and he falls down seemingly unconscious. When Gaby leans over him, he grabs her for a kiss.
Mark and Katarina are making pasta and hanging it up to dry on a string across the kitchen(!) They wax lyrical about their mutual love of food.
Cody pops in at lunchtime and asks if Pam has finished in the garage. She says she's working on the bike and digs her heels in, pointing out that it's her house and her needs come first!
Michael and Danni are kissing on the bed. After a while, there's a loud knock at the door.
It turns out to be Cody, who suggests that they just rehearse at No.24. Danni isn't keen as Lou and Cheryl are coming back early with a marriage celebrant today. Michael says maybe they could try No.26
Kris and Gaby come in, in high spirits. Pam looks at them knowingly as they wax lyrical about boomerangs.
Mark and Katarina have just finished making pasta. He invites her to stay for dinner and eat some of it. She suggests they could make pesto. They decide to play Scrabble while the pasta is drying, and Katarina is clearly developing feelings for Mark.
Helen and Brett are chatting about the Artistic Tours idea. Helen isn't sure she can make it work and Brett suggests she asks Gaby to look at the plans. Gaby is a good businesswoman.
Michael, Danni and Cody come in with band equipment.
MICHAEL: Oh, Gran, you're here.
HELEN: Yes, I live here, remember?(!)
Brett has forgotten all about the band practice. Michael asks Helen if they can rehearse here, but Helen says she's got the Scholarship Committee coming around shortly.
Mark and Katarina are playing Scrabble and bickering about words starting with "X" - apparently Mark has memorised them(!)
They are getting a bit cosy when Michael and co wander in, looking for somewhere to rehearse. Mark tells them to get lost.
Pam asks Gaby if she's enjoyed her day off and observes that she's getting on well with Kris. She tells Gaby that he's pleasant and personable and they have a lot in common. Also, he's not bothered about her pregnancy.
Cody comes in and asks Pam if she can wear earplugs in the garage while they rehearse!
Exactly this transpires!
Doug comes home and tells them all to shut up and get out. He's in a very bad mood.
Mark is making pesto in an electric blender while Katarina does hers by hand.
They decide to do a taste test by licking off each other's fingers (yuk). He tells her she's the Queen of Pasto and they start kissing! It seems Annalise was right to be worried after all.
