Waterhole
Lucy suggests going on to the Geiger Counter but Beth wants an early night. She and Brad leave together and Lucy is pleased how well things went. Mark warns her that playing matchmaker is a dangerous game. He asks if it's time for their "afterwards" now.
Number 26
Annalise tells David that Lucy hasn't said anything about being married to him. David is surprised and complains he's come all this way and Lucy isn't even home. Annalise says she'll take him out for a drink.
Number 30
Wayne is helping Stephen and Phoebe pack and is surprised to learn that Rick is taking over from them managing the coffee shop. Beth comes home with Brad and explains that Lucy set them up. The others clearly think there's more to it but Beth insists they just had dinner together as friends.
Number 32
Helen, Philip, Julie and Lucy are in the living room and Julie says she has missed being together as a family. Apparently Debbie is sulking because she wants to go to a boarding school where nobody knows what happened with Darren. Hannah wishes she could stay home like Debbie is at the moment.
Lassiters office / Jeffrey Hockney's office
Paul is on the phone to Jeffrey, trying to get a large amount of money exchanged, apparently for some "capital investments". Jeffrey thinks he'd be better off speaking to someone else. Gaby comes in and makes Paul jump. She notices he's looking at something on the computer about Philip's company, DMH Marketing. Gaby is pleased Philip and Julie have sorted things out, although she would have liked being CEO. Paul tells her there are plenty of other opportunities for promotion but they will talk later and he ushers her out of the office which Gaby clearly finds strange.
Waterhole
Lucy is sitting on Mark's lap with him feeding her dessert when Annalise and David come in.
ANNALISE: We've just rebuilt the place. It was blown up.
DAVID: Huh, pity.
ANNALISE: Yeah, it was a gas leak.
DAVID: No, that's not what I meant!
Annalise feigns surprise that Lucy is there. David confronts Lucy and asks if Mark knows she's a married woman!
Number 32
Just about everything is packed. Wayne leaves and Stephen and Phoebe go to bed. Beth tells Brad he doesn't have to leave yet.
Ramsay Street
Lucy gets out of a taxi, followed by David. Lucy is angry with David for humiliating her in front of her friends and David is angry with her for being about to jump into bed with some jerk. Lucy says she knows what he gets up to when she's away. Helen comes along and hears them arguing. Lucy introduces David. Helen says he's Lucy agent and Lucy says there's a bit more to it than that.
Number 32
Stephen finds Beth and Brad asleep on the couch the next morning. Phoebe wakes them and Beth says they must have fallen asleep.
Number 26
Helen wants to know why Lucy didn't tell anyone she was married. Lucy didn't think they would approve because David is loud and opinionated. Helen certainly can't see what they have in common. Annalise insincerely says she hopes Lucy isn't mad with her for bringing David to the Waterhole but Lucy says they have a very open relationship. Annalise leaves and Lucy tells Helen that David is intelligent and one of the best agents in Asia. He can be funny and charming. Helen asks if she loves him but Lucy says this isn't just about love. David appears and almost apologises to Helen for last night!
DAVID: I think I should start calling you Gran from now on. After all I'm part of the family now aren't I, Gran?
HELEN: I think Helen would be more appropriate!
Lassiters Office
Philip arrives and Gaby tells him about Paul looking up DMH Marketing on the computer last night. Philip says Paul hasn't mentioned anything to him. Gaby says Paul got rid of her as quick as her could and warns Philip to be careful if his name is on everything.
PHILIP: Paul wouldn't do anything dodgy! [Gaby laughs her disagreement] You know what I mean... not to me. We're family. If he does I'll stick Jules onto him!
Ramsay Street
Wayne, Brad, Beth, Mark and Annalise are helping Stephen and Phoebe load all their furniture into a trailer. Annalise is telling Phoebe that David is at least 40 and not Lucy's type; there's no way she loves him! Mark decides he's going to move into No.30 and will cover all the rent until Beth finds a job. Brad is pleased she won't have to leave. Brad, Beth and Annalise say goodbye to Stephen and Phoebe.
Lassiters Office
Paul tells Philip and Gaby he wants the money earmarked for the Waterhole renovations drafted in US dollars. He will have it back in time to meet their obligations. Philip asks if this has anything to do with DMH. Paul tells him he doesn't have to be concerned but Philip wants to be briefed. They are interrupted as Helen arrives and wants to talk to Paul.
Park
Brad and Beth are walking and Beth mentions how everyone is jumping to conclusions about the two of them. She asks Brad if he thinks they can stay just friends and Brad says that sounds good.
Number 26
Paul enters the house and asks David what his game is; why would Lucy marry someone like him? David says he didn't put any pressure on Lucy to marry him; career- wise she gets more out of their marriage than he does. Paul warns him that if he hurts her he will pay for it.
Ramsay Street
Julie is unloading groceries from the car and asks Helen why Lucy didn't tell them. Helen says she'll understand when she meets David; they're like chalk and cheese. They go to say goodbye to Stephen and Phoebe. Hope is screaming her head off in the car. Phoebe didn't think it would be this hard to leave. Helen tells her to come and visit because she and Hope are part of the family. Stephen and Phoebe get into the car and leave as Paul comes across the street.
Number 32
Paul tells Helen and Julie that David has promised Lucy the world. Philip comes home and says they should be wary of sticking their noses in but Paul plans to have David checked out. Two offices from the Australian Federal Police arrive at the door. Detective Morley wants Philip to accompany him to answer some questions about DMH Marketing.
