Lassiter's Office
Paul thinks that the ladies are overreacting, but they point out that he is too. He gives them one more chance not to walk out, but as he refuses to re-instate Monica, they stand by their word. Caroline and Melanie grab their personal items from their desks and the three ladies leave.
Mangels
Matt settles himself down on the sofa, with the phone, phonebook and a whole load of beauty products. He rings his first customer, who isn't so impressed at his sales technique and soon hangs up on him. Melanie arrives back and explains what went on with Paul. She asks to borrow the phone to ring the agency about a new job. He suggests she take on the beauty sales job, to which she is rather enthusiastic about. She calls the company to enquire.
Robinsons
Paul is explaining to Helen what went on earlier. She admits that maybe he did over react slightly, and point out that he can't take out his anger about Isabella on his staff. She advises him to re-instate them, but he figures it's gone to far and the only thing he can do now is to find some new staff.
Number 22
Paul returns to find Christina packing up their belongings, he asks what's going on and she explains that given the circumstances, she and Caroline have decided to move out. She wishes it didn't have to be that way, but Paul made it so. He admits that he was stupid and shouldn't have taken his pain out on them; they hug.
Mangels
Melanie hangs up the phone in excitement as she explains to Matt that she has the job, starting immediately. Matt is keen to call some clients that evening, but Melanie is also keen to start. They argue over use of the phone, finally agreeing to take it in turns.
Bishops
As Harold reads a storybook to Sky, Madge admits that she's been wondering how Joe will cope when he returns. Harold agrees that it might work should she take some time off from the Waterhole to look after her and Toby in the afternoons. Harold explains that he too has had some thought and is going to change his will to give Sky a good future.
Number 22
Paul apologises to the twins, explaining how he was too caught up over Isabella and made a mistake taking it out on them. After a little persuasion they agree to return to work, and stay on in the house.
Mangels
It seems Melanie has the art for telesales as she succeeds with yet another client. After spending 30 minutes talking to a client, Matt manages to grab the phone off her, but to no success with his client as they hang up on him, yet again. Melanie points out that it is her turn once more, and seems to have luck on her side.
Number 22
Caroline and Christina make their way down for breakfast as Paul gets off the phone from re-instating Monica. Christina asks if she could possibly have the day off, to which Paul eventually agrees, before heading over to tell Melanie the good news.
Bishops
As Madge and Harold sit down to breakfast, Ian, Kerry's biological father arrives, keen to spend some time with Sky. He comes over to the table and picks her up, but Harold encourages him to put her back down so she can finish her breakfast. Madge explains that Joe has gone away for a few weeks, so Ian sees it as an opportunity to get to know Sky better. Harold and Madge don't seem so convinced.
Mangels
As Melanie is on the phone to another client, Paul arrives. He apologises for firing her, to which she doesn't seem too bothered, but she informs him that she won't be returning to work for him, as she now has a job in telesales which she prefers much more.
Bishops
Madge and Harold explain to Ian about their jobs, but how Sky doesn't affect it at all, and they even had to persuade Joe to leave her behind with them. Ian asks is Joe mentioned his letter to them at all. It would seem it arrived after Joe left; he's applying for permanent custody of Sky.
