Outside Beverly's Flat
Todd says he will go to the Police if he hurts him, Gary says it will be fun though. Josh comes up and pushes Gary away, he then karate kicks the piece of wood out of Gary's hands!

Gary then tries to beat up Josh but Josh kicks him and then punches him in the stomach, Gary then leaves. Todd is impressed and says he should never have got involved with Gary in the first place and it won't happen again!

Number 28
Des and Melanie are washing up, Chrissie is there too. Melanie tells Des about Matt's cancelled date and gives Des some money. Des says he will give Chrissie some tips on her job interview, Chrissie says it's not a good idea and she might cancel.

Des and Melanie offer encouragement, Chrissie is still unsure, Des is more forceful and Chrissie eventually agrees, she isn't very positive though. Chrissie spots a cruise brochure, Melanie's friend has offered her some cheap tickets but doesn't think Paul will be let her have time off at short notice.

Number 22
Caroline and Paul are also washing up (Paul is wearing a hideous track suit). Paul is impressed with the sales figures from the Gift Shop that Chrissie has been running, Caroline says Chrissie loves the job and won't want to leave!

Paul asks Caroline if she regrets not going to work for Park South Pacific, she says she doesn't.

Coffee Shop
Todd is telling Josh and Cody about his potential court appearance, Melissa enters and the atmosphere turns frosty, she won't walk to school with Todd.

Beverly's Flat
Melissa's mother and Beverly are chatting about the children. Melissa's Dad is away on business and her mother is struggling. Beverly says they should lift the ban on Melissa and Todd seeing each other, Beverly likes Melissa's influence on Todd and pleads with Mrs Jarrett to lift the ban, apparently it's Todd's only hope (a tad dramatic there!).

Paul's Office
Caroline enters whistling, Paul says she looks nice and asks who she is trying to impress. Caroline wants an extended lunch hour, Melanie appears and babbles on and tries to ask for time off but instead she tries to tidy Paul's desk instead! Paul isn't impressed with her efforts.

Melanie carries on babbling and she starts to complement Paul as a boss and offers to make him tea! Paul wants to know what she wants; Melanie says she doesn't want anything. Paul apologises and Melanie leaves. Paul tells Caroline that Melanie wants something and she'll have to work harder to get it.

The Park
Josh kicks a football into the water. Cody and Melissa walk off to speak about Todd; Cody wants to know how Melissa feels about Todd. Gary then comes up and starts to threaten the two girls, he then sees Josh and runs off!

Paul's Office
Des arrives and asks Paul for a beer after work, Paul agrees. Des tells Paul that he heard about Caroline going for a job interview, Paul says its old news and she turned the job down. Des says the interview is this afternoon, Paul now realises why Caroline wanted an extended lunch time and looked smart.

PAUL: That young lady has a lot of explaining to do when she comes back

Melanie overhears this and presumes Paul is talking about her!

Reception
It's actually Chrissie at the job interview; she looks nervous and runs out of reception and into a lift.

Coffee Shop
Todd bumps into Mrs Jarrett and apologises about the drinking incident, Todd leaves. Josh and Cody then talk to Mrs Jarrett who say that it wasn't just Todd's fault, Mrs Jarrett says the ban has now been lifted anyway, Josh and Cody are pleased!

Paul's Reception

Paul asks Melanie where Caroline is, Melanie doesn't know. Melanie then tries to ask Paul for time off again.

PAUL: Next time someone asks for time off I'm not going to be so generous

This puts Melanie off and she leaves.

Lassiters
Josh and Cody walk over the bridge, celebrating that Melissa and Todd and see each other again. Cody says they should all go out at the weekend, they ask Melissa but she says no as the ban still stands, Josh and Cody tell her that they know the ban is lifted. Melissa says it's none of their business and strops off.

Reception
Paul tells Melanie that there should be no more phone calls, he is too busy. The phone rings and it's for Caroline just as she returns, it's someone asking about the job interview that Chrissie walked out on! The penny drops and Caroline realises that it was Chrissie at the job interview but the hotel think it was her, Caroline tells Paul about this.

Caroline says that Melanie will know about it, Paul says Melanie is fired unless she tells them everything!
