Outside the surgery
Todd can't quite believe what he's done, but snaps out of his stupor when Boof urges him to run.

Ewan comes out and switches the alarm off, but he doesn't see Todd who's already run far enough away.

A road
Todd and Boof stop running. Boof tells Todd that he came to see him about the cops.

BOOF: If they come round asking questions, you don't know anything, OK?
TODD: About what?
BOOF: You just don't know anything, OK? You dob us in, you're gone.
TODD: Look, how can I tell them anything if I don't know what you're talking about?

Boof reckons the police are after him and his mates for some trail-bikes that got pinched. Boof invites him to skip school and go trail-biking instead. Todd says he's in enough trouble as it is, so he might as well(!)

Beverly's flat
Beverly wishes that Ewan hadn't stayed the night. (What was she thinking?!) She wants to go and find him, but Ewan advises her to let Todd calm down. Beverly says she didn't know Todd would react to the separation so badly.

Coffee Shop
Christina has come in for an orange juice and is chatting to Eddie. Paul comes in and asks them what the nightclub they went to the other night was like. He's thinking of opening a nightclub in Erinsborough and wants to check out the competition. Eddie says it was a bit on the small side. Paul suggests trying a nightclub on Wentworth Street tonight. Christina is pleased to be invited along but less pleased when she hears that Paul has invited a girl called Jan!

School
Cody, Melissa and Josh are wondering where Todd has got to - he has the questionnaires for the student forum. Cody suggest ringing Beverly, but Josh says they'd better not in case they drop Todd in it. Melissa hopes he's not off somewhere with Boof.

Robinsons
Todd opens the door and calls to see if anyone is around. It's empty, so he invites Boof in. Boff immediately raids the fridge(!) He tells Todd to stand up to Beverly - she's got a boyfriend, so why shouldn't he have a bike? Todd thinks he's got a point.

Coffee Shop
Jim comes in and sits at a table with Helen. He's still looking very down. Helen urges Jim to talk to Beverly, but he says it was her idea to separate. Helen implores him to make an effort with Beverly - perhaps suggest a round of golf.

HELEN: I know she'd love to see you.
JIM: You think so? Alright. I'll call in for a few minutes after work.

He looks quite pleased by the prospect.

Beverly's flat
Josh has come round after school to look for Todd. Ewan is still there(!) Josh tells Beverly about the single-sex classes plan. But he lets slip that Todd wasn't in school today by mistake. Beverly is not amused.

Coffee Shop
Cody is ranting that Todd didn't bring the questionnaire to school for the forum. Just then, Todd comes in and says he didn't feel like coming to school, he's been hanging out with Boof instead. Melissa is shocked and says that Boof is a total air-head. Todd tells her off for nagging.

MELISSA: Fine, then! Go out with Boof - you two make a lovely couple!

She storms out. Cody asks Todd what's wrong and he tells her about Ewan staying over and breaking the car window. Cody says that her parents split up for a while last year, so she knows how Todd feels.

No.22
Eddie, Christina and Paul are getting ready to go out to the nightclub. Jan arrives and is raring to go.

JANET: If I don't step outside Erinsborough at least once a day, I go mad!

Eddie is impressed with Jan and is surprised to hear that her job is as a cloakroom attendant in a nightclub - that's how she met Paul!

Beverly's flat
Jim comes round but Beverly has been called out to a patient. Ewan is there though and lets Jim in. He isn't very impressed and asks Ewan to tell Beverly he called.

JIM: I'll call round later.
EWAN: It might be an idea if you called first.

Robinsons
Jim is ranting about Ewan being at Beverly's flat.

JIM:(angrily) She sees a hell of a lot more of him than she does of me!
HELEN: You don't seriously think that Beverly's in love with Ewan, do you?!
JIM: It's up to her to tell me!

The phone rings and Helen answers it. It's Beverly. She's worried about Todd because he hasn't been home. No-one has seen him since the Coffee Shop at 4pm. She tells him that they had a misunderstanding this morning and doesn't know what to do. Helen asks Jim to talk to Beverly but he won't.

JIM: What am I supposed to do? She wanted Todd, she's got him.

Helen tries not to roll her eyes and tells Beverly that he's probably gone to the pictures or something. But she'll send him home if she sees him.

HELEN:(to Jim) Well. If you and Beverly want to remain permanently separated, you're certainly going about it the right way!

Nightclub
Jan is the life and soul of the party. Paul and Eddie are enjoying her stories, but Christina is not amused. Paul and Jan head off to dance while Christina sulks.

Beverly's flat (what the heck is Ewan still doing there?!)
Todd comes in and is not impressed to see Ewan there. Beverly immediately beings laying into him. He calmly admits to smashing the car window and Beverly says that he's grounded and he'll have to pay for the window.

TODD: Why don't you take the car to Uncle Jim's to fix and TELL HIM WHY!

Ewan tries to intervene and Todd starts shouting at him, saying he's caused all the trouble - he's waltzed in like he owns the place (he's got a point!)

TODD:(to Beverly) You're lucky I came home at all. I should have stayed the night with Melissa.

He storms off to his bedroom, slamming the door.

Nightclub
Christina is having a rotten time watching Jan and Paul dance. When they come back to the table, Christina makes some uncharacteristically bitchy remarks to Jan, who gets fed up and throws a drink in Christina's face!
