Helen and Beverly are having tea. They talk about Beverly's latest research project. Paul calls round and he and Beverly aren't very pleased to see each other. Apparently the health inspectors have been round. The only thing they found was that the ham that poisoned everyone had been cut up on the same board as the raw chicken the night before. They've let Lassiter's off with a warning.
Beverly says that's an excellent result, but Paul doesn't agree - the hotel's reputation has been damaged. Beverly insists that someone could have died if she hadn't reported it - she had Paul's best interests at heart. Paul won't have this though and says that Beverly was disloyal to him(!) Helen tells them to stop arguing - it's probably best that they're not working together anymore.
Workshop
Jim and Matt are talking about loyalty. Matt is upset that Lee ran away from him, but Jim tells him to move on.
Sharon comes in and invites Matt to a video night at her place - he reluctantly agrees.

Christina is flower arranging while Caroline stresses about work. Christina suggests a jar - whenever anyone talks about work at home, they have to put a dollar in it(!)
Paul comes in in a right strop about Beverly. It's worse though - Caroline has had a call from a teachers' convention - they've cancelled their booking. Christina tells them to put a dollar in the jar(!)
PAUL: What is this? Women Against Paul Robinson Week or something?
Workshop
Todd comes in. He tells Jim about his disasterous roller-skating afternoon. He says he's sick of Josh being able to do everything better than him and showing off in front of Melissa. Jim says Melissa isn't going to go off him for not being good on roller-skates - but she will for bad company and jealous.
JIM: You've got nothing to worry about, mate, believe me!
(Later)
Todd has seen sense about Melissa. He says he wants to find something he's better at than Josh, but Jim advises him just to be himself.
Just then, a white jaguar draws up with an overheated engine. Jim says he can fix it in ten minutes if the driver and his friend want to wait.
KEITH: So, Ewan, this lady you'll be working with. She good looking?
EWAN: She certainly is!
KEITH: How about introducing me, then?
EWAN: Now fair go, Keith. This one I'm keeping to myself!
KEITH: Scared I'll give you a run for your money?
EWAN: No...we knew each other a long time ago. Very well.
KEITH: Thinking of...rekindling the fires, eh?
EWAN: Well...could be. you never know. She's a lovely lady.
Jim laughs at their conversation, not realising the implications.

Ryan arrives for the video evening. Tanya immediately comes to sit with him. Sharon warns them not to talk about relationships tonight because Matt is still depressed about Lee.
Melanie, Kelvin and Matt get back from the video shop with "Friday the 13th". When they put the video on, it turns out to be "Love Story". Melanie suggests they could play Charades instead(!)

Bishops
The gang have got into the game of Charades. It's Kelvin's turn. Melanie keeps talking about love movies and Sharon is shushing her(!)
Paul/Twins
After Paul has gone to bed, Caroline tells Christina that she only stayed home on a whim - she's not attracted to Paul. Christina apologises.
Bishops
The charades game is still going on. Matt doesn't want a go, and Melanie tries to force him. Sharon tells Melanie quietly to shut up about love stories because Matt is depressed. Everyone immediately starts asking Matt about Lee and some of them take him in the kitchen to talk about it. It seems to go quite well, despite his initial reluctance to talk about it.
Robinsons
Beverly gets back from the dinner with a friend - it's Ewan, an old university friend - and also the bloke that was in the garage earlier talking about hooking up with an old friend. Jim shakes his hand and looks at him suspiciously.
