KATIE: You mean you two are going out?
LUCY: Well he hasn't asked me yet, so don't say anything... but he will!

Number 30 back yard
Edith is showing Arthur the garden and is clearly in love with him already. Bouncer starts barking next- door. Edith calls over the fence and asks Joe to get Bouncer to stop barking as it's terrorizing her cat! Joe tells her she'll just have to keep the cat inside. Edith says that's not fair and asks him to chain Bouncer up.
JOE: No way, this is Bouncer's yard. Chain up your cat!
EDITH: Oh don't be absurd! Mine is a reasonable request.
JOE: So's mine. Besides, Bouncer was here first. First in, best dressed.
EDITH: That dog's barking is noise pollution.
JOE: So's your gasbagging!
EDITH: Well, really! I'll have the authorities onto him.
JOE: I wouldn't if I was you. Go on Bouncer, sick her! Kill! Kill! No, not the broom you fool, her... the blimp next- door!
Erinsborough Hospital
Nick is telling Helen his drawing and painting is getting much better, although he's not nearly as good as her. He tells her about Sharon turning up as the model at the life drawing class.

Nick tells Helen Lucy is home for the holidays and he played up to her to make Sharon jealous but now she's got the hots for him! What is he going to do?
Number 30
EDITH: Blimp! Gasbag! I've never been so insulted in all my days by that... that...
SHARON: Oh, don't let him get at you.
EDITH: Get at me? The rudest man God ever created walking the earth, and here we are stuck next- door to him!
Edith says she will follow through with her threat to go to the council if that dog starts barking again. Sharon tells her not to start a feud but Edith has got a bee in her bonnet and is not going to let a man get the better of her. All men are rude and selfish... except for her sainted late husband! She tells Sharon to forget about Nick Page and get on with her life. All men are insignificant ants, and if they get in her way she should squash them!
