Sharon is the nude model in Nick's life-drawing class.
Nick is appalled to see Sharon there and immediately starts shouting at her and pulls up her dressing-gown!
Sharon tells him not to create a scene and that it's none of his business anyway!
NICK: You're my girlfriend, if that doesn't make it my business, nothing will!
Nick tries to drag Sharon off home but she wants to stay. Nick stomps out.
Jane and Gail are hanging out. They chat about how well Joe is getting on with Toby now - Joe is finally starting to relax and enjoy himself. They also chat about Jane's present from Mark and Gail urges her to keep the earrings - they're a genuine thank you with no strings attached.
Henry and Bronwyn are washing up and messing around. Bronwyn is finding it hard living with Des's father.
Sharon has come round to see Nick. He's still very angry with her and Sharon protests that the class was about art, not perving on the model! Nick won't be moved though and Sharon tells him to grow up. Nick finally spits out what's really bothering him - that Sharon isn't ready to go further physically with him but doesn't mind throwing all her clothes off in public. Sharon tells him off - she's not a cheap tart. Nick gives her an ultimatum - give up the modelling or find another boyfriend.
Clarkes, the following morning
Sharon is ranting to Bronwyn about Nick's behaviour but she's more on Nick's side - she doesn't think it's a suitable job for Sharon either. Bronwyn suggests that she tries for another job - like in the Coffee Shop when it reopens. Sharon says she wouldn't mind going back to the Coffee Shop, but she still needs to model for the money for now.
Gail is waiting to interview the applicants for the housekeeping job. She tells Jane that Mark Granger is arriving today. Jane is very surprised and says it'll be good to see him so she can give the earrings back. Gail still thinks there's no harm in accepting them as a gift.
A surly woman barges in about the job and says Gail looks a bit young to be in charge(!)
Outside the Waterhole
Sharon chases after Nick but he doesn't want to talk unless she's giving up the job. Sharon storms off.
Madge sees Sharon and says that Harold is looking for her to talk about a job in the Coffee Shop.
Gail is showing out another applicant. She says that none of the applicants have been very good so far. Just then, Mark Granger comes in and greets Gail. Then he goes over to Jane and shakes hands.
MARK: You don't know how good it is to see you again.
Jane looks a bit surprised and says she's flattered. Mark can't take his eyes off her.
MARK:(to Gail) You know, I've come a long way and waited a long time for this.
Bronwyn is telling Henry about Sharon's job but says Sharon is right when she says it's none of Nick's business. And anyway, Sharon has always been impulsive and off-beat, that's what Nick liked about her, so he can't complain now.
BRONWYN: Anyway, you're one to talk, with your crazy schemes!
HENRY: At least I always keep my clothes on!
HENRY:(laughing) Nearly always!
Gail and Mark are having a chat while Jane makes coffee. He tells Gail that he has some personal business he wants to follow up in Australia.
He brings up the subject of the earrings and Gail decides to leave Jane and Mark to talk about them. Jane tells Mark that the earrings are lovely, but she can't accept them - they must have cost a fortune. Mark says it's nothing compared to the money Jane has made for the company - their sales are up 20% since they ran the campaign with Jane in it. Jane reckons it would have worked whoever the model was, but Mark doesn't agree - and the board would be very disappointed if she didn't accept the earrings. He invites Jane out to dinner tonight and she accepts. He tells her to wear the earrings.
Garage of the Robinsons
Sharon has come round to see Nick again. She tells him that she's got her job back at the Coffee Shop so she's giving up the modelling job. Nick is pleased and says he's glad she's "come to her senses". Sharon says she's not doing it because of Nick's ultimatum. She storms out, saying Nick can "go to blazes"!
Gail and Madge are gossiping about the "Yank millionaire" with a crush on Jane. Then Gail tells Madge that she wants her to apply for the housekeeping position. Madge says she's happy at The Waterhole and prefers working with the public. She says she'll think about it though.
Mark has arrive to take Jane out and she's all dressed up in a blue dress. Mark tells her that he chose the earrings himself, and then gets a box out of his jacket which has a diamond necklace in it - to match the earrings! Jane is shocked and says she can't accept it. Mark tells Jane that he's fallen in love with her - since the first time they met he hasn't been able to stop thinking about her.
MARK: Jane, this guy is in love with you. And I guess we're both just going to have to get used to that.
