Ramsays
Charlene is bubbling with excitement whilst Scott is grumpy from missing out on his sleep. Charlene is sure Madge will want a huge wedding and has written a list of relatives who need to be invited. Madge catches them plotting and Scott makes up a story about Charlene needing a spare part for Willie.
Robinsons Garden
Lucy and Katie are taking pictures of the guinea pigs so that Katie can enter the 'Best Pet' competition. Todd tells Lucy that Jim doesn't want he and Katie around anymore. He says he doesn't care about himself but is worried for Katie who has just settled in Ramsay Street. Lucy says she'll talk to Jim and find out how he feels.
Robinsons
Jim and Beverly are trying to sort out their accounts. They are in trouble and Jim is not happy when he realises Beverly has paid a lot of the bills behind his back. She reminds him that they're a team but Jim is adamant he should be the breadwinner. Katie asks for money to develop the guinea pig pictures and Jim snaps at her.
The Office
Paul wants to help Jim find a job. Gail advises him not to interfere as Jim is a very proud man and won't appreciate it. Paul says he will try and set up an interview with some business contacts.
Robinsons
Jim apologises to Katie but Lucy and Todd have seen the whole thing and are now more certain than ever that he wants Todd and Katie to leave. Beverly tells Helen she doesn't know how to handle the situation. She realises Todd and Katie's presence is adding to the pressure.
The Office
Paul is phoning around trying to secure an interview for Jim. Gail wonders what they should buy Madge and Harold for their wedding. Gail has drafted an advertisement for the paper promoting the Lassiters function rooms and Paul asks if bookings are down. She says they are and thinks they should open the rooms for weddings and birthdays. Paul says they should give Harold and Madge one of the rooms for the wedding reception. Gail twists his arm and makes him include the food too.
Madge arrives and Paul and Gail tell her about their gift. She is touched by their generosity but Gail tells them they've had a windfall (Robs cheque) and can't think of a better way to share it.
The Coffee Shop
Scott has been phoning the relatives and inviting them to the wedding. He's still not sure that Charlene will be able to pull off such a big function. Madge arrives and tells them that Paul and Gail have given them the Lassiters function room for the reception. Charlene is thrilled but realises Paul doesn't know just how many guests are expected.
Robinsons
Jim shuns Lucy to do his paperwork. Helen tells him the bills will be around forever but at the rate he's going his family won't be. She tells him he is taking his frustrations out on everyone and says he needs to accept Beverly's help.
The Office
Charlene shows Paul the guest list! He is mortified and tells her he can't cater for that amount of people. Gail thinks that should tell Madge what they are planning as both she and Harold were adamant they didn't want a big bash. Gail says they can use a bigger function room and Charlene says the folk of Ramsay Street will chip in with the catering.
Robinsons Garden
Lucy tells Todd that he was right - Jim said that Todd and Katie wouldn't be around forever. Todd wonders what he and Katie will do when Jim kicks them out - they have no one left.
Ramsays
Helen brings round lots of food for the wedding. Madge apologises and tells her that Paul and Gail have given she and Harold a venue and food as a wedding gift. Madge wonders what is going on and tells Charlene she knows she and Scott are up to something.
Ramsay Street
Scott helps Helen take the food back to her car and on the way he explains that they will need to keep the food, as the residents of Ramsay Street are the ones doing the cooking. Helen decides they should have a meeting where they can decide who is doing what.
Robinsons
Beverly comes off the phone to her Sister. She is still no better and Bib is still out of work. Jim says Annette and Bob can't expect them to look after Todd and Katie forever. He says he is fond of the children but it not their job to raise them. Todd is in the laundry and has overheard their conversation.
