Ramsays
Henry and Todd are working on the gardening rosters. Madge is making biscuits and gives some to Todd. He tells her Beverly never makes treats and Madge tells him he can pop around for biscuits whenever he wants. Todd tells Henry that Madge is great and wonders why she's marrying Harold.
Katie runs in and tells Todd to get home straight away - he's in big trouble.
Robinsons
Mrs Mangel is complaining about Todd and Katie and their lack of respect. Beverly says they can't blame Todd until they know he's guilty. Mrs Mangel says the shock could have been fatal for a heart as weak as hers! Todd arrives and says he's not guilty of whatever they are blaming him for. Beverly asks Todd if he organised for the undertaker to visit Mrs Mangel. Todd says he didn't but wishes he had! He admits to threatening Mrs Mangel but promises he didn't play the prank on her.
Helens Flat
Scott tells Helen he spoke to Jeff and is now certain that Ross is hiding something. Helen thinks Scott should talk to Jim but Scott says he doesn't want to until he has proof. Scott wants Helens help and asks her to organise a dinner party for Ross, Jim and Beverly so that she can try and see if he's hiding anything.
Robinsons
Todd is still protesting his innocence but Mrs Mangel doesn't believe him and Beverly fails to stick up for him. Katie informs Mrs Mangel that Todd is not a delinquent and Mrs Mangel advises Beverly to sort things out before Todd drags Katie down with him. Beverly has to leave for work and tells Todd they will discuss this tonight. He says he can't as he's working with Henry but she insists he be at home when she returns. Todd walks out and Katie follows.
Helens Flat
Beverly tells Helen what happened and says she knows she handled it badly. She doesn't think that Todd is guilty and punished him wrongly. She now fears that any progress she made with Todd and Katie has been threatened. Helen says she probably would have made the same mistakes but Beverly is unconvinced! Helen says she will talk to Todd after school whilst she is looking after Katie.
Ross' Office
Ross is telling Jim what a good worker Scott is. They have a huge workload at the moment and Jim is surprised but how many contracts they have secured.
Clarkes
Madge is looking after Jamie and cleaning up when Helen arrives. Madge has been on the phone to Eileen who had been asking after the family home. Helen takes over and says she will take Jamie on her errands.
Ross' Office
Helen arrives with Jamie and invites Ross and his wife Margaret to dinner that evening. Ross is happy to accept and says it's been too long since they got together socially.
Outside The Coffee Shop
Madge is telling Mike and Henry that Des is making progress with Jamie. Paul says he's glad as it's been so hard to watch his best mate go through so much grief.
Mrs Mangel and Beverly pass by and they are still arguing about Todd. Beverly tells Henry Todd won't be able to help him today. Henry says he know and tells Beverly she is handing this situation wrong. He says Mrs Mangel has no proof and when Todd told him he didn't set up the prank he believed him. Beverly tells them all to mind their own business.
Mrs Mangel: It's just as well I don't have my umbrella with me Henry Ramsay or you'd be getting the short end of that too.
Madge asks what all the fuss is about and Mrs Mangel tells her she has had a very trying day due to an undertaker arriving at her house. Madge says she's glad she got the message as Eileen told her she was sending Mr Bright round to Mrs Mangels when she spoke to her on the phone. Cue gasps from everyone in the area.
Mrs Mangel is planning to have strong words with Eileen but Beverly tells her not to upset her. Madge is bemused as to what has happened and wonders why everyone is blaming her.
Ross' Office
Ross gives Scott a package to deliver and tells him not to record it in the main diary. Scott leaves the office and tries to talk to Jim who is leaving for a meeting, but Jim says he's late for a meeting and will talk to him later.
Robinsons
Helen explains to Todd that Beverly is adjusting to parenting. She says Beverly is on his side and only wanted him to be home tonight so they could discuss the issue. Beverly arrives and tells Helen and Todd it was Eileen who sent the undertaker to Mrs Mangels house. Beverly apologises to Todd for not believing him and tells him to get changed so he can go and work with Henry.
Outside Lassiters
Paul and Henry are talking about the gardens when Scott arrives in a hurry. He tells them he wants them to be his witnesses. He opens the package and reveals a wad full of cash.
