Ramsays
Harold is looking for answers. Madge tells him she felt unfair about giving him an ultimatum. Harold doesn't see what the problem is and Madge says she feels he has only set a date because she forced him into it. Harold doesn't believe her and feels she is just making excuses. He hands her some flowers and Madge tells him they will talk later. Henry walks into the room and notices something is going on. Harold leaves and Madge gets upset. She tells Henry that Harold has set a date for the wedding. Henry is thrilled and says it's great news. Madge looks unimpressed.
Mrs Mangel's
Harold returns and is met by Mrs Mangel sporting a face pack! She tells him she is visiting a friend today and wants to look his best. Harold tells her Madge wants to postpone the wedding. He changes the subject by asking Mrs Mangel who her friend is. She tells him she too can have secrets.
Helen's Flat
Helen and Frank are eating breakfast. Jim arrives to let Helen know that Lucy has settled into Arlington. Helen asks Jim to stay but he says he is on his way to visit Daphne. Franks goes to the bathroom and Jim seems perplexed to have found Helen and Frank in their night attire! He tells Helen it will talk a while to get used to she and Frank as a couple.
Ramsays
Henry and Scott are having breakfast and Henry demands that Madge tell him what is going on with she and Harold. She warns Henry not to interfere but Henry is sure Madge is hiding something.
The Coffee Shop
Henry is talking to Sally about Madge and Harold. Harold arrives in a fluster having just been to the Erinsborough News. Henry suggests that Harold write to 'Dear Georgette' to get some advice. Sally comments that Georgette is a terrible agony aunt!
Helen's Flat
Helen and Frank are preparing to see some sights when Mrs Mangel arrives armed with a basket of morning tea. Franks invites her in to share the scones and tells her how he appreciates Mrs Mangels traditional values.
The Coffee Shop
Sally tells Harold he can talk to her about his problem if he wishes to. Charlene arrives and finds Harold in a bad mood. Charlene is trying to place an order but Harold insists on talking to her about Madge. Charlene advises Harold to wait till Madge sorts out her problems. Harold doesn't share her optimism and is sure Madge has changed her mind about the wedding.
Ramsays
Henry and Scott arrive home to witness Madge finding the dirty laundry in one of the kitchen cupboards! She is not impressed. Henry spots a doll on the side and asks where it's from. Madge tells him she won it at a funfair in Brisbane.
Helen's Flat
Mrs Mangel and Frank are deep in conversation whilst Helen looks on. Mrs Mangel invites Frank to dinner and Helen insists that he go. However Frank says he won't be around long enough, he's heading home tomorrow.
Gardens
Scott and Henry are at a client's house. They can't mow the lawns, as the lawnmowers have no petrol. Henry is too preoccupied on getting Madge and Harold back together to pay any attention to the problem and Scott voices his concerns. He says he feels he does more work than Henry so Henry challenges him to a bet.
Helen's Flat
Frank is seeing Mrs Mangel out. Helen comments that Mrs Mangel was making a play for him and Frank says he was just being friendly. Franks tells Helen he is leaving - he can't stand being in the city it makes him feel trapped. He tells her he wants her to go with him. He wants her answer by tomorrow.
The Coffee Shop
Scott asks Jim if he can borrow some garden tools. Jim and Sally are surprised to hear that Henry isn't pulling his weight. Scott says Henry works fine on his own but as soon as he someone to pile the work onto he becomes lazy.
