Outside the Church
Des and Daphne are being congratulated by the vicar. Shane comes up and congratulates Daphne and Des and Paul is taking photos.

Paul lines up Shane, Des, Daphne, Zoe and Lucy for a few photos, then one with Des, Daphne and her grandfather that Mrs Mangel somehow manages to get in too!

Ramsays
Madge is relieved to see that Charlene is back but gives her a row for running away to Manley. She tells Charlene she'd better stop behaving like a baby. Madge says that Charlene is turning into her father and she gets very angry. Madge forbids Charlene from going to the reception saying she's grounded.
CHARLENE: But it's a wedding!
MADGE: I don't care if it's the end of the world, my girl, you're not setting foot outside this house!
Clive's
Madge tells Jim that Charlene is back and presumably Scott is back as well. Jim goes off to have a talk to Scott.
Mrs Mangel comes over and tells Madge that Jim is looking awful after the "Zoe affair". Madge rolls her eyes.
Shane presents the wedding party, "Mr and Mrs Des Clarke"! Des and Daphne come in and Daphne is delighted to see Mike there. Everyone sings "For They're A Jolly Good Fellow".
Robinsons
Jim is talking to Scott and tells him that he's grounded - just like Charlene. Scott protests that noone lets him and Charlene see each other for more than five minutes. Jim is also angry that Scott has missed the diving competition. Jim says either Scott is old enough to play by adult rules or he's not. He tells Scott to think about it.
Clive's
Paul kicks the speeches off by thanking Clive for doing such a good job for Des and Daphne. He thanks Des for making it to the altar this time(!) and to Daphne for being fantastic.
Clive and Shane read out the telegrams - from the bank, Bradley, Max and Maria, Jack Lassiter and Andrea, Uncle Wayne and his wife, and Julie Robinson and Philip Martin. Clive says that Daphne deserves the best, it's just a shame she got Des(!) He thanks her for forgiving them for the joke they played.
Daphne's grandfather says that he's very proud of Daphne and drunkenly starts to ramble, so Paul jumps in with the toast.
Robinsons
Scott is playing loud music when Charlene comes in. They commiserate with each other over how angry their parents are with them. They agree not to let their parents split them up.
Clive's
Lucy wants to know why people throw rice at weddings and people get themselves into an awkward discussion about fertility!
Tony and Zoe are being a bit lovey-dovey, but Jim is philosophical - not every relationship works out.
Ramsays
Tom and Jean have arrived home. Tom is glad to have the chance to be alone with Jean. He tells her that he loves her, but won't try to talk her into anything. Tom gives her something to remember him by - his medal for bravery. He thinks Jean has earned it over the last fifteen years. He tells her to look after her husband - he's a lucky bloke.
Robinsons
Mike and Danny come in with some champagne for Charlene and Scott that they've brought from the wedding reception. Danny's about to leave to catch his train and Scott and Charlene wish him well.
Mike tells Scott and Charlene that they've done up Des's car with foam.
Ramsay Street
Des and Daphne are departing as someone throw what look like most of a bag of rice over them(!) Daphne thanks Clive sincerely for all his help and says that a lucky girl is waiting for him somewhere. Danny wishes Des and Daphne well and Shane kisses Daphne on the cheek somewhat sadly. The rice rains down as Daphne throws her bouquet and Zoe catches it. Des and Daphne drive off in their foam covered car, cans rattling behind them!
Back at Clive's
The guests are just departing and Madge and Jim swap notes about Scott and Charlene.
Tom asks Shane to take Jean home. He's clearly gutted to see her going.
On the sofa, Tony suggests that he and Zoe nip over to No28 with a bottle for a private party!
Ramsay Street
Tom and Jean are saying goodbye. Jean thanks Tom for the medal again - she'll treasure it.
TOM: I love you, Jean.
JEAN: Don't, Tom.
She kisses Tom on the cheek and gets in the car, sadly. Shane drives her away. Tom stands dejectedly on the pavement.
Shane's car
Shane is babbling on how he used to be engaged to Daphne while Jean looks at the bravery medal Tom gave her.
Just then a tyre blows and Shane crashes into a parked car. He groans with pain. When he looks over at Jean, he sees that she is dead.
