Lassiter's restaurant
During dinner Jack recalls to Madge and Helen memories of his wife Adeline. When he goes to check the kitchen, Helen apologises to Madge for ruining what she thought was a romantic meal. Madge asks Helen to stay despite her disappointment.

Jim tells Zoe Lucy is old enough to stop playing these games. Zoe admits to Jim she can see she is an intruder in Lucy's eyes. Jim kisses Zoe telling her Lucy will just have to accept them. Scott arrives home but seeing his father involved goes straight to his room. Interrupted Zoe decides to go home.

Madge and Helen arrive back from dinner. Tom is amused by the evenings events and teases Madge about romance. Helen is furious with Tom and tells Madge he clearly has no regard for her feelings.

Helen returns from talking to Lucy about her bad behaviour. Jim tells her Lucy clearly acted on purpose but Helen reminds him he's never hit any of his children before. Jim vows he won't let Lucy ruin things with Zoe, the way Julie ruined his relationship with Anna Rossi. Helen warns him he may end up having to choose between the family and Zoe. Jim tells her the family are in for a shock!

Zoe explains to Andrea that she feels Lucy will never give her a chance. Andrea suggests she talk it through with her. A sleepy Des comes out of his bedroom as Zoe goes to bed asking what the 'excitement' is. Andrea just kisses him on the cheek.

At breakfast Helen tells Jim there will be a period of adjustment for the family as they get used to Zoe. Scott joins them confessing he can't understand hoe Nikki and Charlene are suddenly friends. Lucy also joins the table but refuses to eat breakfast. Helen tells her she owes Jim an apology, but Lucy remains silent.

Danny reveals to Madge and Tom how he is amazed Shane is seeing Debra Fleming so close after splitting from Daphne. He then realises neither of them are talking to each other as Madge leaves silently to go shopping. Tom explains to him he feels bad for hurting Madge over Jack and is going to focus on trying to bring them together romantically.

Des is on the phone to Eileen telling her he has no intention of raises the question of marriage with Daphne before making his excuses to end the call. Overhearing him, Andrea tells him he follow his heart with Daphne. As Zoe and Bradley leave, Des tells her there is little chance of that.
Ramsay St
Lucy meets Bradley but refuses to speak to Zoe who walks on ahead. Bradley tells her that Zoe is considering breaking off her relationship with Jim if she keeps playing up. Lucy and Bradley agree to carry on to break Jim and Zoe up.

Madge and Helen have coffee over madge explaining she wants to do a business course. A delivery boy arrives with flowers and a romantic poem for Madge.
Coffee Shop
Zoe tells Daphne about Eileen pestering Des over them marrying but Daphne is clearly not impressed. Zoe asks her to seriously think about what she and Des really want from each other.

Madge calls the florist to find out the identity of her admirer but they refuse to tell her. Madge tells Tom she supposes they are from Jack. Tom smiles to himself.
Coffee Shop
Zoe comes into the shop and tells Daphne she has been receiving crank phone calls where no one speaks at the other end. Daphne tries to reassure her it is only a bad connection.
Pacific Bank
Des checks Jim's bank account as Jim explains to him that he feels Lucy will just have to accept his relationship with Zoe. He won't lose out on a second chance of happiness.
Des suddenly stops coming to a realisation. He gets Danny to take over with Jim before telling them he's taking a second chance and leaves the bank.
