- Paul shouts at Shane to stay away from his wife.
- Charles tells Paul that Terry is a tramp.
Charles's place
Paul is angry, but Charles says that he knows what Terry's like - he's heard that Terry is on with Shane. Also he says that Terry was there a few days ago trying to get things going with Charles. Charles says that Terry is using him - he's giving her a home and a husband who's away a lot. He tells Paul to get rid of her.
Clarkes
Daphne still thinks that Terry should tell Paul the whole truth. Terry is upset that Paul and Scott think that she's having an affair with Shane. Terry is upset that she can't find the tape - if Charles finds out, she's as good as dead.
Terry is feeling sick again. Daphne decides to make them some lunch.
Robinsons
Lucy says she loves sports afternoons - because she doesn't play any sports! Helen says Lucy can come shopping with her this afternoon. Lucy asks if she can stay home to see the housekeepers being interviewed - Jim said the last two were dragons!

Terry is looking for the tape. She finds a red address book and tears some pages out of it. Just then Paul comes in. He wants to know if Terry has seen Charles since they were married and she says she hasn't.
Robinsons
Douglas calls round. Helen is looking at colour fobs for the cottage. Douglas gives Helen a ring as a present. She decides to ring Paul and Terry to come over for some champagne. She can't get them on the phone, so she sends Scott over to get them.
Helen can't wait until the cottage is finalised and they can move in.
HELEN: Oh, it's all just too good to be true!
No.30
Scott has come to invite Paul and Terry over. Paul says he's running late so he can't. Scott is still frosty towards Terry. Terry insists that she hasn't done anything.
Coffee Shop
Paul comes in for a coffee. He chats to Daphne about Charles. Daphne gets the impression that Terry has told him everything. Daphne says it's lucky she got away from him the other day when she went round to get the tape from him. Paul is shocked.
DAPHNE: Paul. Don't judge Terry too harshly, eh?
Robinsons
Helen, Douglas, Scott and Lucy are having champagne. Lucy likes the ring and Douglas explains that it belonged to his mother. He wanted Helen to have it. Lucy takes a photo of them and Douglas jumps hard. He says he doesn't like having his photo taken.

Terry is watching a scary film (why! her own life is scary enough!) The phone rings and it's Charles. She tells him to leave him alone. He compliments Terry on her husband, telling her that they had a "lovely chat".
Clarkes, the following morning
Daphne is cooking for the Coffee Shop. Lucy thinks that Daphne can cook really well. She thinks Daphne should be their housekeeper!
Shane comes round.
DAPHNE: Come in if you're handsome!
LUCY: You don't qualify!
Shane chases Lucy around the living room!
Shane and Daphne chat about the misunderstanding with Terry. Daphne says she thinks Paul will come round - he and Terry are both under a lot of pressure.
When Shane has gone, Daphne rings Terry. She tells her that Shane has been around and he's still angry.
Robinsons
Helen is tidying up. There's a knock at the door and Mrs Cooper, a prospective housekeeper arrives. They introduce themselves and Mrs Cooper tells them that she used to be a cookery teacher in the area.
Ramsay Street
Terry sees Shane on the street and runs after him. Paul is walking along the road too and looks on suspiciously.
Shane asks Terry why she married Paul. She says she loved him, but Shane thinks it's because Terry thought she'd be on to a better thing with Paul than with him. He wants to know what's going on with Charles, but Terry says she can't tell him. Shane says that believing her has cost him the trust of one of his best friends, and he won't forget that in a hurry.
Robinsons
Scott and Paul come in and Helen introduces them to Mrs Cooper.
Paul asks Scott for a word.
Garden of the Robinsons
Paul says he has to ask Scott a question - does he really reckon that Shane has been having an affair with Terry. Scott thinks he has. He explains that Shane told Max and Danny he was staying at his girlfriend's place. But then he saw him coming out of No.30 looking very shifty. Paul is upset and tells Scott that he's the only one who isn't lying to him.
Robinsons
Lucy likes Mrs Cooper and hopes she'll stay after Helen leaves. Helen sends her off to have a shower - Douglas is coming round.
Scott comes in and Helen asks him what he thought of Mrs Cooper. He thought she was fine. Helen wonders if she was a bit overwhelming(!) but she is clearly just put out at being so easily replaced!

Paul is angrily throwing Terry's clothes into a suitcase.
Robinsons
Douglas and Helen are having a cup of tea after dinner and chatting about Mrs Cooper. Helen says she doesn't seem quite right, but Douglas doesn't think anyone would be(!) He tells her to let go.

Paul lines up Terry's suitcases. He looks at a wedding photo of them and nearly starts to cry.
Just then, Terry comes in and says she's been to the doctor's. Paul starts to talk about Shane and Terry says that Charles has poisoned his mind. She tries to tell him that Charles lied to him. But Paul doesn't seem to know what to believe. He says he wants Terry out.
She sits down and says she can't go - she's got something to tell him.
PAUL: Nothing you say is going to change my mind. Just go, will you. Can't you see it's over between us?
TERRY: It's not just us.
Then she blurts it out.
TERRY: Paul, I'm pregnant!
