Piper is walking home wearing the same clothes as in the "Christmas Cracker" web series featuring her and Tyler. In spite of the title of this video being "NYE 2016" it is clearly the morning of New Year's Day.
PIPER: Hey guys, this is Piper. Happy New Year!
She flings an arm out.
PIPER: Sorry that was like...try again. (Cheerfully) HAPPY NEW YEAR! HAPPY 2017! (To someone off-camera) Was that better?
She giggles.

PIPER: As you guys can see...
She lets go of the camera.
PIPER: Woah! I didn't drop you! That's because I've got someone filming it for you.
The arm of the cameraman (clearly Tyler) comes into shot giving a thumbs up.
PIPER: I'm not longer filming, cos I've got a cameraman! I can't tell you who he...or she is, I can't tell you who it is! Boy, am I grateful for this person. Honestly, the camera can be really, really heavy and I don't go to the gym...I need to go to the gym a little bit more. Which I'm sure many of you are saying today as, like, a New Year's Resolution...it's definitely not on my list! What my resolution, I hear you ask? Lose weight, read more...no, just kidding! That's not on my list. But, serious, Resolution Number 1...don't take advice from strangers on the street. (To the cameraman) What? What?! OK, well, I've just been informed that that's common sense, apparently. Not resolution-worthy. Whatever!
She throws up her hands.
PIPER: I'm going to make a conscious effort this year to just not talk to strangers. (As if to a stranger) Hi, how are you, nice to meet you, what are you up to?
She offers her hand to shake. The camera then cuts to a worried-looking Piper with a hand stretching out from behind the camera. Piper looks for a moment and then runs off.
PIPER: My second resolution is...to put myself first. I've decided that if I want something, I'm not going to let something get in my way.
The camera comes in close to her.
PIPER: Get out of my way!
She and the cameraman laugh.
PIPER:(conspirationally) We rehearsed this! ...Funny! No, but seriously, putting yourself first is not being selfish, it's self-empowering, that's what I'm going to do because happiness is important. Three!
She holds up three fingers.
PIPER: Third resolution is, start focusing on things that are really important in life. Because, um, it's very easy to get distracted. (To the cameraman) What?! Resolution number 4. Lots of resolutions! I'm going to start taking this channel more seriously. There are so many channels on Youtube, so many people putting up awesome content, it's just made me realise I really need to lift my game. So, in the New Year be expecting more, like, sort of creative videos...Top 5, How Tos and maybe some skits...I don't know, if you guys have anything specific that you want to see, just comments down below, I don't know, I haven't got much to *teach* you guys...'How To...Burn Down The School'!
She giggles nervously.
PIPER: That wasn't funny...that was way too soon. Susan...I'm sorry. Resolution Number 5...I'm going to start saying 'thank you' more. I just need to be more grateful for everything that I do have in life...this year was just, um, mmm...like a really intense, and like, crazy year, and I had so many people who helped me through it, and I don't think I said 'thank you' enough. And...let them know how much I appreciated it. So, um, yeah, to be more grateful andsay 'thank you' more.
Cut to Piper sitting on a bench by the roadside.
PIPER: Change of pace, literally, cos I had to stop because I hurt my ankle last night...
She glances at the cameraman.
PIPER: It's a really long story, I might explain it one day. 2017 has not started off well!
She looks into the camera.

The cameraman hands her a piece of paper.
PIPER: Thank you, assistant!
She proceeds to read a list of username from the 'Pipe Up' thread on the Neighboursfans.com forum!
