Karl examines Stingray and David, while Stingray holds a mirror in front of him.
STINGRAY: I can still see my reflection.
DAVID: Thatís vampires.
Karl finishes taking Stingrayís blood and says theyíll need for test results to come back.
KARL: Your readings are erratic.
DAVID: It means we shouldnít be alive.
Toadie asks if this means there could be more. Karl says whatever has caused this to happen could be contagious. David wonders if Liljana and Serena could come back, and Sonya wonders about Troy and Dee. Karl goes to take the results to the lab and agrees to get some food sent through for Stingray, looking rather nervous by the request. Sonya sees Toadie holding his wedding ring and asks if heís thinking about Dee, itís only natural to wonder about her.
TOADIE: Do you think thereís a chance that she might be still alive? Am I mad?
SONYA: Up until tonight I would have probably said yes, but if you need to go and find herÖ
Toadie nods and kisses Sonya. Meanwhile David and Stingray watch, Stingrayís head resting on Davidís shoulder as he turns to David with a happy grin on his face.
DAVID: Donít look at me, Iím not going to kiss you.
STINGRAY: Serena did.
DAVID: Donít speak ill of theÖ undead.
Number 32 Back Yard
Mason, Amber and Hope run out of the house towards the back fence which is locked. Robbo and Matt follow. Amber asks why Robbo had to do that to her dad. Zombie Matt says he missed Mason. Mason picks up a shovel and holds it as a weapon, yelling at Hope and Amber to go as they start to climb the fence. Mason whacks Matt in the head with the shovel and he falls to the ground, dead. Robbo makes a run for Mason and we hear his screams as Amber and Hope climb over the fence.
A zombie in a white dress walks up Ramsay Street.
Karl runs inside, calling for Susan. Susan greets Karl, telling him itís a miracle. Drewís back! Drew walks in and asks if thereís been any word from Libby.
Stingray stares at an injured patientís bloody leg.
DAVID: Well youíve got weirder.
STINGRAY: Oh yeah sorry. Are you having any funky cravings?
DAVID: No, I feel fine.
STINGRAY: Yeah, me too.
Paul arrives and greets David and Stingray, as Stingray rushes off to find food.
DAVID: So youíre the mayor now.
PAUL: Iíve always cared about this place and the people in it.
DAVID: You certainly cared for Lil, didnít you?
Paul says heís here to apologise, and is surprised that David doesnít know the details about the plane crash. He explains the plane crash wasnít an accident, his son was responsible.
Karl asks Drew about the last thing he remembers, explaining that Drew had a fall, but Drew canít remember a thing. Drew asks what heís doing here and why canít he see Libby? Susan explains that Libby isnít his wife anymore.
Georgia is pleased to see Stingray, whoís shiftily looking around at the patients. Stingray canít believe Georgiaís a nurse now.
GEORGIA: The Brooks side of the family, thatís where the brains are from?
She asks if heís called Janelle yet, but he hasnít as he wanted to make sure he was okay first.
GEORGIA: We thought that you were cremated.
STINGRAY: Iíve just been busy putting myself back together, you know.
Georgia hugs Stingray, but after a second he pushes her away. He apologises, telling her she smells really good.
Karl says they need to get Drew to hospital. Drew asks them to tell him about Ben. Susan says he takes after Drew in a way, bright kid, very passionate, and Drew would be proud of him. Drew looks at a baby photo of Ben, asking if heís closer to Darren or Dan? Susan says what happened wasnít his fault, Ben knows Drew would have been there for him if he could. Karl tells Drew to see a doctor, but Drew doesnít want to be locked up and tested on and lose another 12 years of his life.
SUSAN: We just want to make sure that you are well enough to see Libby and Ben.
DREW: But what if Iím not, what if they think Iím some sort of freak of nature? What then?
DREW: No Karl, I wonít. Iím not going anywhere!
The patient with the bloody leg is lying on the hospital floor, dead. Stingray drags him into a hospital ward to hide the body, and then walks away, wiping blood away from his mouth.
Susan asks Drew to relax, but he refuses to go to the hospital. He attacks Susan by biting her neck.
