Lassiters Lake
Andrew asks again if the baby is his but Holly replies that the baby is Max's, she "done the maths" and he doesn't "need to worry."
Number 28
Max thinks it is due to him that Holly has gone AWOL especially after he showed her the rocking horse. Karl tries to reassure him that Holly is simply "overwhelmed" but all it does is confirm to Max that it is due to him.
Sadie comes over to collect Holly (before going to the V Bar) and hears she's gone missing, and looks pleased to hear that Holly intends to keep the baby too. Since Karl/Max can't get hold of Holly, Sadie leaves to try and contact her.
V Bar
Taye is very excited about his event and is confident that it is going to be a huge success.
V Bar/Ramsay Street
Sadie calls Taye to see if Holly is already there for his event. Taye replies she isn't and jokes that she'd better be there as he needs to have high guest numbers! That remark goes down like a lead balloon with Sadie and coupled with how the baby news came out, Sadie is firmly holding Taye responsible should anything happen to Holly!
V Bar
Once Taye comes off the phone, he asks Elle to take care of the VIPs coming to the vent as he needs to head home. Paul is not amused and after Taye leaves, he rants off at Elle over how unreliable Taye is and why she gave him the job. His day then gets worse - when trying to open this HUGE jar of olives, Paul gets oil all over his shirt! Elle holds up something he can change into - one of Taye's V Bar shirts!
Harolds café
Over a coffee, Cara is telling Terese and Felix that her mum wants her to go and collect Greg's belongings from the caravan in Eildon where he was staying at before coming to Erinsborough. She looks relived when Felix volunteers to accompany her to get them.
Felix can spot that something is up when Andrew enters the bar and conveniently Cara gets a call to allow the brothers to talk privately. Andrew tells Felix about Holly being pregnant and due to how anxious she was telling him, he doesn't believe her claim's that Max is the father.
Park somewhere
Holly sits trying to hold the tears back as she sits in some park in the city. She cancels a call when she spots her dad is the caller.
Harolds café
Felix is already trying to figure the maths out in connection with Holly's pregnancy, but since Andrew didn't get a chance to get that far, he can't help Felix out. Andrew wants to talk to Holly again however he doesn't want to hassle her either, but their chat is curtailed when Cara returns from taking her call. She explains the caller was Taye and he was asking if she'd seen Holly as she's gone MIA. Cara thinks it's a bit too soon to worry, however this is Andrew's chance to get involved without it looking too obvious.
Number 28
Taye arrives at the house to help join in the hunt for Holly. We hear that Susan is out driving around looking for Holly and Sadie tells her dad she is really concerned because her friend isn't in the right headspace. Wendy arrives too (after seeing the message in the group chat) and wants to know if the police have been informed, so Andrew explains that can't happen until she's been missing 24 hours.
Just as they are trying to persuade Andrew to investigate unofficially, Holly arrives home. Everyone, especially Karl, looks relived she is back. Holly comes up with a 'I was returning a very expensive dress' excuse to explain her disappearance. Thankfully everyone buys her excuse and Holly 'announces' her pregnancy (officially) to Andrew and Wendy.
MAX: Yeah, we're going to be parents.
Wendy is thrilled at the news and Andrew is forced to join in with the congratulations too. Holly explains that she wasn't going to say anything yet, but knows you can't keep a secret in Ramsay Street, hence starting to get the word out.
V Bar
Elle comments on how great her dad looks in one of Taye's shirts - which is about the highlight of the night as when Taye returns, he hears his influencers have been and gone already because he wasn't there to be the life and soul of the party. The owners are not amused and Paul adds in that Taye has blown his commission deal too!
Number 28
Sadie is keeping Holly company by binge watching some series on the television. Karl brings them over a cuppa and suggests to Holly that she checks in with Max (Karl thinks Max upset her with he rocking horse) and she promises that she will.
Holly turns things around and asks Sadie how things are going with Taye. Sadie admits she is still peeved at him for telling Max, but Holly doesn't want her to be as it was her mess which started things especially as they "have a good thing" going.
SADIE: Look at you tyring to steal the friendship points back.
Number 26
Wendy is trying to talk to Andrew about the "baby bombshell" and announces plans on talking to Holly when things settle down. Andrew is aghast and does his best to talk Wendy out of doing this, but she is insistent given she was around the same age as Holly when Sadie came into the world.
The pair are surprised to see Sadie arrive home as they expected she'd be at the V Bar. When Wendy heads into he kitchen to make Sadie some hot chocolate, Andrew uses this alone time to subtly ask about Holly and the reassurance that Sadie has support at home for her too. "My stuff's nothing in comparison," she tells her dad and adds in too how weird it feels thinking about herself given what Holly's been working through.
Harolds café
Terese is impressed with the shirt Paul has on as the pair gather their order and go to sit outside.
Meanwhile after Max asks, Taye hasn't a clue how he's going to solve his money woes and pay Monica back since the event at the V Bar was a blow out. Max spots Sadie enter the café so the pair swap places and she hears about the event being a bust. She is sincere about the fact though given he rushed home to help look for Holly, before the pair get into an argument over whether it was right for him to tell Max about the baby or not.
SADIE: If you can't respect my point of view, I don't know where this leaves us.
Max reclaims his seat at the table and can sense Sadie is still mad from the way she quickly exited the café! Taye's silence says it all and his already awful bad night gets worse after he gets a text message from Monica summoning him to see her in the morning!
Eildon
Cara and Felix arrive at where Greg's caravan is and after entering it, Cara reminisces about the last time she was there (after he was attacked and she attended to him).
FELIX: Guess it's still going to take a while to feel real.
The pair start to look around for what has to be packed up when Cara notices a tin of beans which are open and remarks that they look fresh - she puts it down to someone squatting in the place. Felix isn't too surprised given the caravan's remote location and discovers more evidence of someone living there when he spots a copy of that day's paper, but quickly and quietly throws it in the bin before Cara see it.
Ramsay Street (next day)
Andrew notices Holly in the street and runs over to chat with her about her going AWOL yesterday - while her cover story was a good one, questions did she not think that taking off like she did would raise alarm bells and worry everyone including him? "I do not need this from you right now," is her response and reminds him that "this baby has nothing to do with you" and so "you and I have nothing to do with each other!"
HOLLY: You're over us, so you need to give me space and let me move on too. I hope you have a great vow renewal!
Holly heads off home and Felix comes over to chat with his brother after witnessing the chat. Andrew admits he is worried about Holly and agrees with Felix's summation that there's "no easy way through this one." Talk turns to the trip to Eildon and Felix describes it as "pretty intense" and adds about discovering someone has been using the place. Andrew comments that if Greg was alive, which he thinks is a long shot, would he go back to his caravan? Felix isn't sure but equally isn't ruling it out as a possibility either and suggests a wee "peace of mind" road trip to check, in addition to helping take Andrew's mind off the upcoming vow renewal, reassuring his brother that they have the time [Google tells me it's around a 4- 5 hour round trip!].
ANDREW: Yeah, let's do it.
Number 26
Sadie finishes laying out her make- up gear to preparing Wendy for the vow renewal. Wendy admits she is more excited about today than she was for the original wedding. Sadie points out today is about romance and fun but without the nerves, which Wendy agrees with, in addition to getting to share the day with her daughter.
Andrew and Felix both enter the house and Wendy warns the pair that the spare room is a no- go zone (Wendy's dress is hanging up there). Andrew readily agrees and to assist with the avoidance he plans on going for a wee drive with Felix. Sadie says 'no deal' as the pair are up for hair and make- up but Felix is clear, he's not being worked on! Wendy asks "what secret men's business" are the pair up to but Andrew phrases it as more them getting out of their hair in addition to helping ensure they don't see each other before the ceremony. That wins Wendy over, but lays it on the line that she wants to make sure that they will be back in time to make it to the pavilion!
ANDREW: I'll be there.
WENDY: (squealing) I'm getting married!
Lassiters Complex
Armed with fresh coffees, the brothers are heading to the car park but Felix tells Andrew he'll meet him at the car, as he wants a word with Elle first. Felix wants them to set a new date for their aborted date and they agree to one next week… once Elle's checked her calendar.
The Waterhole
Paul is checking out the newspaper coverage of the freeway and comments to Terese that "it's going to be good for Power Road" but she feels for those who will be losing their houses. "Half of those West Warratah dumps are due for demolition anyway," is Paul's take on it which earns a rebuke from Terese!
The pair are interrupted by Taye who begs Paul to hold another event. Paul thinks is a joke and isn't sure Taye wouldn't do another runner even if he did say yes! Taye pleads it won't happen again, he was only doing the right thing and eventually, Paul concedes to continuing his trial "as per the original conditions" but adds "that's it!"
As Paul and Terese go back to talking about Power Road (he thinks now is the perfect time to sell up), Taye dejectedly walks over to where Monica is sitting at a table and his bum is barely in his seat when she asks for her money! That would be no and she comments about being unwilling to wait forever for it and reminds him of the alternative arrangement option! The fact Taye doesn't immediately say no, gives her ground that he might change his mind. "I've got a girlfriend now," he eventually uses to get out of the predicament, but she is quick to counter by saying "so do lots of escorts" however adds it isn't up to her how he would handle that. Before leaving, she asks that he thinks about it because "the offer won't be there for much longer."
Number 28
Holly doesn't look too amused to see Max arrive at the house and enter it. He acknowledges yesterday was "a lot" and wanted to check in. Max then adds that since the secret is out, he's told his parents the news and reports "they're stoked."
By this point, Holly hasn't said a word nor even acknowledged that he is even in the house, her attention is focused on staring at the rocking horse sitting on the floor. Max thinks he should relocate it to his place to keep fixing it up.
Again, Holly still hasn't acknowledged him and Max now questions if he should have let himself into the house, citing that all he wants to do is apologise for yesterday, admitting he "totally overdid it," just like he is currently doing by coming on too strong. Holly finally finds her voice and agrees with him on that point! It's back to the silence again [covered onscreen when the music starts up with its apt lyrics] and silently, Max picks up the rocking horse before quickly exiting the house.
Number 30
The song continues as we cut to a sad Cara looking at her dad's belongings that they took back from Eildon. When she picks up one of his shirts, the tears begin to flow.
Eildon
Andrew and Felix arrive at the caravan and let themselves in… where they then discover Greg is very much alive and kicking!
