Krista insists to Leo that she isn't putting their family second. He thinks that Nicolette missing out on the Eclipse apartment would suggest otherwise.
KRISTA: No, I don't like what you're accusing me of!
LEO: I'm just saying what I see. We've got something really important happening in our lives, and you're AWOL.
KRISTA: I'm not.
LEO: Yeah, you're fixated on Addison!
KRISTA: No, that's not true! Also, I don't like being ganged up on.
Leo accuses her of deflecting, and in turn, Krista says he's being really unfair.
Harold's Café
Nicolette is moaning to Jane about Krista losing her the apartment. Jane seems more concerned about Addison, noting that she missed her afternoon classes, which is unlike her.
NICOLETTE: I get that she's important, but so are we.
JANE: You know, I might just call Krista and find out what happened.
NICOLETTE: Great (!) You do that.
Leo comes in and apologises to Nic for the loss of the apartment.
LEO: I don't know what's going on with Krista. There's something about this kid that just sucks her in.
NICOLETTE: Yeah, and I've got no problem with that, as long as it doesn't come at our expense. All she had to do was pick up the phone.
Leo agrees, but says Krista got upset with him when he raised it. Nicolette says she doesn't have time to wallow about it, as she's preparing a care package for Cara following the news of Greg's death.
NICOLETTE: I want to be there for someone who's actually there for me.
No 30
Cara and JJ are on the sofa, still processing the shock of Greg's death.
CARA: It still doesn't feel real (...) All the things that I wanted to say to him - now I'll never get the chance.
At this point, some welcome faces - Remi and Dex - come through the door with suitcases.
CARA: You came.
REMI: We wouldn't be anywhere else.
Cara and JJ smile.
The Waterhole
At a table, Karl is telling Colton about the big council meeting that is happening tomorrow, where Karl will be clued into the mysterious whatever- it- is that the council has been planning behind closed doors. Susan is with them and adds that there is set to be a big media announcement following this.
Zac comes in, and Colton asks how he is doing with his muscle strain, explaining that Elle told him about it. Zac is initially defensive, but when he realises Elle has concocted him a cover story for his tattoo removal he goes along with it, saying he overdid it while exercising.
KARL (laughing): Oh. Not playing tennis, I hope?
Susan nudges him.
KARL: Sorry. We heard about that video from the Lassiter's elevator.
COLTON: Max and Taye told me.
Zac looks worried.
KARL: Yes, we were wondering who would be so daring.
SUSAN: *You* were wondering, Karl.
KARL: And why tennis?
ZAC (cagey): I really don't know anything about it.
He hurries off. Karl, Susan and Colton all exchange glances, surprised by Zac's touchiness. Susan decides to head back to work - apparently it's 'games day' at Eirini Rising.
Lassiter's Hotel
Terese and Krista are chatting in the lobby. Krista is moaning about Leo; she takes their baby plans seriously, she insists.
KRISTA: But just because a couple of things haven't worked out exactly how he wanted, when he wanted, now he thinks I've checked out.
TERESE: Look, I just think he's disappointed to lose the apartment.
KRISTA: Well, so was I. I mean, how was I supposed to know it couldn't wait a couple of hours?
TERESE: You know how popular they are.
KRISTA: Okay, but what was I supposed to do? Send an upset kid on her way?
TERESE: Look, I know that you didn't do the wrong thing. But you did put Addison first. And that's the point that Leo is trying to make. I know this baby journey has involved a lot of thought and tears - and I know you've committed to that (...) But you've also committed to Addison. So you just have to be mindful that you don't let it take over.
Krista nods.
Eirini Rising
In the recreation room, Colton is overseeing things while Vera and Gino are doing a jigsaw puzzle. Vera moans to Gino that Moira - who we can see behind her, playing a game of Scrabble with Hilary - has 'conveniently' turned up just when Monte is due to arrive. Meanwhile...
MOIRA: Look at her, laying in wait. Labouring over the only puzzle fit for one who never graduated past picture books.
HILARY: Am I playing by myself here?
Monte comes in with Susan, and Moira immediately calls him over, asking for help to spell a word in Scrabble. Overhearing Moira fawning over Monte, Vera makes a bid for his attention by hiding a piece of her jigsaw puzzle down her cleavage!
VERA: Monte? We need some help. We've had some puzzle bits go AWOL.
GINO: Oh, for the love of Sondheim...
Monte bends down to see if he can find any jigsaw pieces under the table, but as he does, Moira comes over and fusses over him, saying he'll put his knee out. She and Vera each grab one of his hands to help him up. Seemingly disconcerted by their lavishing attention on him, Monte rushes off, claiming he has to make a phone call.
VERA: Now look at what you've done! You've scared him off.
MOIRA: Me? You're the scary one. (points at Vera's top) Jigsaw bits!
VERA: Did you call me 'jigsaw tits'?!
COLTON: Ladies, ladies...
MOIRA: I did not say that!
COLTON: Just breathe.
VERA: Oh, how can I when the room is full of this obnoxious gas she calls perfume!
SUSAN: Vera, that's not helpful.
MOIRA (upset): This fragrance was given to me by my husband Lester.
VERA: Well, it needs diluting.
Vera picks up a glass of water and starts flicking the contents at Moira, in spite of Susan and Colton's objections. As Vera sits back down to rejoin Gino, Moira picks up a vase of flowers. Removing them, she pours the water from the vase all over Vera's head! Vera screams.

JJ, Dex and Remi come in from the sunroom - JJ has been showing them the woodwork projects that he, Cara, Felix and Greg been doing in their absence. Cara is sitting on the sofa looking lost in thought. JJ suggests to Dex that they go and hang out with Taye next door, hoping to give Remi and Cara some time alone together.
Once the boys have gone, Remi asks Cara how she's doing. Cara says it feels surreal - one minute she was reconnecting with Greg here, and then he just took off without a good explanation.
CARA: Now I'll never know.
REMI: I'm so sorry...I remember Greg's cheeky laugh. He was a good guy. I always thought that.
CARA: It means a lot. That you came.
REMI: Well, we're here as long as you need us.
CARA: What about Dex? He's really loving that new school.
REMI: Yeah, we'll sort it out. My room's still available at Karl and Susan's.
Cara nods but looks unreassured, clearly preferring that Remi would move back here. At this point, Nicolette barges in with the care package she's put together for Cara. She's surprised, and perhaps a little disappointed, to see Remi there. Remi manages a smile for her and goes over to help with the huge bag.
NICOLETTE: Are you *back* back?
REMI: ...I dunno yet.

Leo is working when Krista comes in for a chat. He's visibly still annoyed with her, but Krista perseveres. She admits that Leo was right about her being fixated on Addison.
LEO: Are you having doubts about the baby? About Nicolette?
KRISTA: Umm, it's not about you and Nic. It's about me. I feel I need to help Addison.
LEO: Yeah. Look, I can see that, and I can tell this is all familiar territory.
KRISTA: I just want her to have the stability that I didn't have when I was growing up.
LEO: Yeah, you want to protect her. And you know, I love you for that. But there's got to be some kind of balance.
KRISTA: I hear ya. So...is it okay that Addison stays here? For the time being, at least?
LEO: Yeah, of course. And hopefully Clint will step up, now he's back in the picture.
KRISTA: Hopefully...I'll start being better. Promise.
LEO: Yeah, I know you will be. But Nic might take some convincing, though.
Krista nods.

Susan and Colton mediate as Vera dries off her hair following the drenching by Moira.
VERA: You have ruined my hairdo.
MOIRA: It was doing you no favours anyway.
GINO: Oh no you don't! Brawl all you like, but do not badmouth my work.
COLTON: This whole situation is an absolute farce.
SUSAN: What Colton means is, this does not meet the standards we expect from our community.
GINO: What *Susan* means is that you two are behaving like hormonal teenagers.
MOIRA: That's completely ridiculous!
VERA: Whose side are you on?
COLTON: Enough! I don't want to hear another word of this. Go dry off, cool your jets and come back here. This is going to end.

As the Varga- Murphys feast on Nicolette's goodies, Cara tells Remi and Dex that she's been ordered to drop the investigation into the Linwell brothers, and she's obeying the order.
JJ: On the plus side, though, the danger's gone. So if you want to come back permanently...?
CARA (to Dex): How do you feel about that, mate?
DEX: ...I'm cool.
CARA: Are you sure? You can be honest.
DEX: I miss you guys. I want to be here.
CARA: But?
DEX: But I love my new school. It'd be ideal if I see out the year. But obviously you guys come first, so I could come back as well.
REMI: We don't have to make any decisions right now, though.
JJ: Let's just enjoy each other's company for a bit.
While Remi's getting more food, her phone rings - and Cara notices the name of the caller lighting up on it. It's Deena, the customer from the tram who admitted she had a crush on Remi.
CARA: Still in touch?
REMI: Oh, she's got one of those travelling jobs - it's a food company. She's stopped by in Apollo Bay a few times, that's all.
Dex looks very tense all of a sudden at the discussion of Deena, and Cara notices. She looks crushed.

Nicolette has arrived for conciliation talks with Krista and Leo. Krista presents Nicolette with a gift bag.
NICOLETTE: Doesn't look like an apartment.
KRISTA: No, it's not. Umm...I'm really sorry about that.
NICOLETTE: Just tell me that we're cool.
KRISTA: We're cool.
LEO: And we're gonna nab the next apartment that comes up, okay?
NICOLETTE: Great. That's all I needed to hear.
Nicolette begins to explore the gift bag. It's a baby record book, designed to keep track of and celebrate the baby's first year after it arrives.
KRISTA: It's not, actually. You know, this crazy, beautiful plan of ours to bring another child into the world...I so want it. And I know I haven't really been showing you that. But that changes now.
Nicolette loves the gesture, and Leo agrees it's really sweet. Krista says she's already started filling it in, by jotting down some of the reasons she has for embarking on their baby journey, and how excited and grateful she is. Leo seems pleased by all this, and Nicolette begins to read. Krista looks emotional.

In the recreation room, Hilary, Monte, Gino, Susan and Colton are spectating as Vera and Moira make clay vases on potter's wheels. This apparently is Colton's plan to end the rift between Moira and Vera.
VERA: When you said we'd end this, I thought we were gonna do some mixed martial arts.
COLTON: No cage fighting today, Vera. We're channelling our emotions into a positive outlet.
Moira seems to be doing well with her vase, and Monte declares it 'beautiful', saying he'll have to get Moira to make his too. Vera's effort seems rather more uneven and mildly phallic in shape, and she's not impressed with the fawning over Moira. In a bid to ease the tension, Colton suggests Moira help Vera with her vase, reminding her that she was about to help Monte, so this shouldn't be an issue.
Moira reluctantly goes over to Vera and starts coaching her on how to use the foot pedal, just as Karl and Zac randomly arrive. Zac is looking for Terese, but Colton hasn't seen her. Moira's coaching doesn't appear to be paying dividends as the speed of the wheel only increases, Vera's vase becoming increasingly deformed - before finally coming apart and splattering all of the spectators with clay.

Remi and Cara are clearing up in the kitchen. Remi assures Cara that nothing has happened between her and Deena, besides having coffee a few times.
CARA: Do you, umm...do you want something to happen?
REMI: ...I'm just trying to have a life.
CARA: So if I hadn't have just lost my dad, you wouldn't be considering a move back at all.
REMI: ...
CARA: You don't have to sugarcoat it.
REMI: ...Honestly? It's been good not being here. Kind of get to reinvent myself. In Apollo Bay, I'm not the woman who lost her memory and had to pause her career because of it.
CARA: You've been getting to spend some time with your dad, too, hey?
REMI: It's been nice.
Cara looks sad.
REMI: But you've experienced a terrible loss, and it affects the boys. And it feels right that we are together.
CARA: Dex seems pretty keen to see the year out.
REMI: Even so, he'll come home if that's what we decide.
CARA: I do want us all to be together...but it is hard for me. That you don't remember me. And just hearing that you were catching up with Deena - which you have every right to do - still hurts.
REMI: I want to be here to support you.
CARA: You are. But I think I know what needs to happen next...

As everyone else tries to scrub clay splatters off themselves and each other, Moira and Vera are reconciling.
MOIRA: I know the two of us have never been the best of friends, but this is getting ridiculous.
VERA: You're telling me. I don't think I've ever made more of a clown of myself. That's why I'm taking my hat out of the ring. He's all yours.
MOIRA: What?
VERA: Oh, let's be real. A worldly guy like Monte isn't gonna fall for old V- Dog.
MOIRA: But he is better suited to you than me. He's an entertainer - he needs a big personality. And I don't actually think my feelings are that deep. I mean, at first I felt a spark, but now...
VERA: Well, I felt a spark at the beginning, too. Probably indigestion.
They both laugh, as Susan and Karl smile at the reconciliation.
MOIRA: So, now, if neither of us actually want him...
VERA (extending a hand to shake): Ovaries before brovaries.
MOIRA (laughing): Oh, yes! Sisters before misters.
She takes Vera's hand, and then they hug.
HILARY: Looks as if they've made up.
SUSAN: Oh, about time!
GINO: Now the nightmare's over, can we please turn our attention to the *actual* romance in the room?
Gino points over to where Colton is helping Zac out of his clay- splattered top. In the process, Colton notices the patch on Zac's back where he's had the laser tattoo treatment.
COLTON: That doesn't look like a muscle strain. It looks more like you've had a tattoo removed. Maybe the tattoo you told me you didn't have a few weeks ago?
ZAC: Okay, yeah. I *had* a tatt. But I got rid of it (...) Can we jut not talk about it again?
COLTON: I guess. But maybe we could not talk about it over a drink?
ZAC (smiling): ...Sure.

Remi, Cara, Dex and JJ are on the sofas. It's been decided that Remi and Dex are going back to Apollo Bay, at this stage until the end of term so Dex can see out the year at the new school.
DEX: I shouldn't have opened my mouth.
CARA: No, I'm glad you did, mate. And it's great you're kicking goals at your new school.
REMI: The time will pass quickly.
JJ: Mm. And you'll definitely come back soon, right? Can't stay there forever.
REMI: We'll be back. And Mum will keep us up to date with the funeral details.
CARA: It'll be more like a memorial, but you have to be there.
DEX: Sure.
Harold's Café
Jane is at a table with Clint and Addison. Jane is explaining the full details to Addison about the end of her relationship with Clint, after he was caught stealing cleaning fluid. But...
JANE: It was complicated. And while I don't condone stealing, well, having cared for a sick relative myself, I can see Clint's good intentions.
ADDISON: Well, I did steal loads of biscuits from the staff room when I got hungry at night, so I can't really judge.
Addison seems much more relaxed with Clint now. For his part, he assures Addison that the conversation with Leo about her moving in with Clint was 'just future talk'.
CLINT: My only goal right now is to get to know you more.
At this point, Nicolette, Krista and Leo come in, all looking much happier now they've resolved their dispute. They join Jane, Clint and Addison, and Nicolette asks everyone if it's too early for her to be having cravings.
JANE: Yes.
NICOLETTE: Boo, you suck! Okay, my desire for a bespoke ice cream sundae is all- consuming.
Nicolette invites Addison to come and help her make one, and Addison willingly agrees. Leo and Krista flirt with each other, their troubles apparently behind them, as they head off to the kitchen to join Nic and Addison.
CLINT: Hey, umm, thanks for coming in to bat for me.
JANE: Well, I should, umm...I should probably get going. And you should probably get back to your mum, and...and to Lisa.
CLINT: How do you know about Lisa?
JANE (sheepish): I...I looked you up online.
CLINT (smiling): Well, I certainly don't need to be getting back to her. She was a lovely woman, but...well, we never quite connected.
JANE: Right, well, umm...just chalk it up to experience.
There's a loaded pause as they run out of words. Eventually, Jane gets up and bids him goodbye. Clint thanks her again, before she scurries away.
Eirini Rising
As the sun sets over Erinsborough, the wine is flowing in the recreation room. Vera and Moira clink their glasses together, and Vera then pokes Monte in the back, while Gino, Karl and Susan look on.
VERA: We need a word with you, coffee lips.
MOIRA: Vera and I have decided we don't want a relationship with you, but we're happy to maintain a friendship.
GINO: Praise for the goddess Eirini. Finally we can have some peace.
MONTE: Right. Now we've got that out of the way...
Monte turns around and interrupts a conversation between Hilary and another male resident.
MONTE (to Hilary): Excuse me. I wonder if you would do me the honour of having dinner with me?
HILARY (surprised smile): Me?
MONTE: I've had my eye on you from the moment I arrived, Hilary Robinson.
Moira and Vera observe this scene with bemusement and perhaps a touch of jealousy!
Lassiter's Complex
Evening, and Colton and Zac are having a drink outside the Waterhole, discussing the events at Eirini Rising.
ZAC: I had no idea old people could be so...randy.
COLTON (laughs): Mm. There's that. But I also think they're just probably missing companionship.
ZAC: Ah, I guess that never goes away.
COLTON: What about you? Are you, uh, seeing anyone? Maybe a hot hotel guest?
ZAC: ...?
COLTON: I, uh, saw you with someone the other week.
ZAC: Oh. A one- off thing - I'm single.
COLTON: I, umm...I was jealous. I know I shouldn't be, but...sometimes when we're together, I...I get this vibe. Okay, I'm getting it now. Is this in my imagination?
ZAC: It's not.
COLTON: Then, why have you put me in the no- go zone?
Before Zac can answer, Krista turns up. She randomly asks Zac to put some signage up next to the lift, seemingly to deter other guests from filming themselves fornicating in it! She says the 'tennis/lift/video thing' has now gone viral - presumably she's meaning that there have now been multiple videos along the same lines. Zac looks panicked.
KRISTA: Well, it's inappropriate.
ZAC: Yeah, I'll...I'll get right onto it.
KRISTA: Thank you. Oh, and by the way, one came through from Lassiter's Darwin. Some guy with a distinctive back tattoo - I'm surprised you haven't heard about it.
Krista leaves, but the cogs are whirring in Colton's brain.
COLTON: A tattoo? Like the one you didn't have removed? Come on, I can see it on your face.
ZAC: It's fine.
COLTON: It's not fine. Just spill.
ZAC: It's me. In the Darwin video. It's me and the tennis coach. I started it, and people have been holding it over my head for months. And I'll lose everything if I'm exposed, including my job.
Zac gets up and walks off. Colton watches him go, looking concerned.
