The Peninsula™
Holly is at the harbour area where she and Andrew first met his biological father and sister, Gretchen and Steven. She gazes towards the sea, smiling, excited at the prospect of a new life here with Andrew.

Felix is telling Andrew of his suspicions about Greg - he's up to something, Felix can feel it. But Andrew seems to be in a world of his own and it's unclear whether he is even listening. Felix has even told Andrew about seeing Greg with Ricky Dehnam but it provokes no visible response.
FELIX: Maybe you should ask him about it?
ANDREW: (sips tea)
FELIX: Drew?
ANDREW: ... I'm sorry, what?
FELIX: You should talk to Greg about his chat with Ricky. See what he says.
ANDREW: Yeah, no, I will. If I get a chance.
Andrew gets a message from Holly then, asking if he's broken up with Wendy yet. He looks furtively over his shoulder to make sure Felix isn't watching, then replies, 'Not yet.' Felix can sense something is wrong, but Andrew insists he's fine. Felix heads over to No 30 to start on the next woodwork project, a dining table.
No 30
Cara is looking over police papers at the table, when Greg comes in from the sunroom. He reminds her she was supposed to be giving up on the Linwell case, but Cara says it's hard to put it out of her head. She comes into the sunroom and looks at the finished bird house, which is painted in three colours for each section.
CARA: Oh, wow! Those are the best beach boxes in Melbourne.
She reckons they should hang it out in the front garden to show it off to the neighbours. Greg makes excuses as to why he's not keen on going ahead with the next project, the dining table, saying his back is playing up. But at this point Felix arrives with more timber, and Cara decides that Felix can do all the heavy lifting, meaning the project can go ahead after all. Felix agrees.
Cara goes indoors, and Greg forces a smile as Felix silently reminds him he's watching him.
Eirini Rising
Wendy is still out cold in the car park, when Colton appears to put some junk in the bin. When he sees her, he appears to freeze on the spot, seemingly not knowing how to react. Susan and Karl approach, talking about their concern for Holly. From beyond the car obscuring Wendy, they see Colton looking worried, and Susan asks if he's okay. This snaps him back into action and he tries to revive Wendy.
Karl tells Susan to call an ambulance as he rushes over to help.
Erinsborough Hospital
Wendy has an oxygen mask on and is being stretchered into hospital. Karl briefs Dr Stevie Hart on Wendy's condition; there's no sign of an open wound, but she seems to have suffered a blow to the head and is drifting in and out of consciousness. He thinks she's concussed, and Stevie promises to take it from here. Susan decides to message Colton to see if he's established if any of the residents saw anything.
At this point Andrew turns up, looking very panicked and wanting to know what's happening. Karl says there's been no change in Wendy's condition since they spoke on the phone, and that Wendy is in good hands.
No 30
In the sunroom, Felix is keen to get started on the dining table. Greg objects, saying they're supposed to be waiting for JJ so they can work on it together - but as JJ is not in the episode, Felix is keen to press ahead! He asks Greg how long he intends to stay in Erinsborough.
GREG: As long as Cara and JJ want me.
FELIX: Thought you might want to visit your wife in Queensland.
GREG: She's busy with Chelsea and Tom.
FELIX: So no set plans, then?
Felix's questioning is very pointed, but Greg doesn't take the bait, and instead goes to make them another cuppa. Cara, meanwhile, is on the phone to someone called Harry, seemingly trying to get intelligence on Tania Linwell. (Apparently she's got a new car recently.) Finishing the call, Cara explains to Greg that Harry was the Varga- Murphys' old neighbour in Werribee.
GREG: Linwells. Again.
CARA: I'm just making a few discreet enquiries. Tania's got to be getting her money from somewhere.
GREG: Cara - just let it go.
CARA: Look, I can't, Dad, okay? But you don't need to worry.
Felix comes in - he has to go, as he's had a text from Andrew, telling him that Wendy is in hospital.
Eirini Rising
In the car park, Susan and Colton are updating Jane on the situation with Wendy. It's clear that Susan is a little concerned as to why Colton wasn't already calling the ambulance when she and Karl came across him. Colton goes indoors to make some tea.
Jane hopes it was an accident and that Wendy wasn't attacked; she tells Susan about the strange things that have been going on at the school lately, and she thinks they may be connected. Susan suggests they go and take a look around...
Erinsborough Hospital
Wendy is unconscious in a bed. Dr Stevie is telling Andrew that Wendy has been diagnosed with a severe concussion. They're awaiting some test results, but Wendy has been responsive which is a good sign. Stevie promises to keep Andrew updated.
As Stevie leaves, Felix arrives. Andrew tells him that Wendy is going to be okay. But Andrew is very shaken and tearful as a result of what's happened - and perhaps also his guilty conscience.
ANDREW (crying): I just love her so much. And I nearly lost her. I could've lost her.
Felix comforts Andrew, but looks concerned at the strength of his reaction.
A while later, Stevie returns and suggests Andrew bring in an overnight bag for Wendy, as she wants to keep her in hospital for observation for a couple of days. Andrew doesn't want to leave Wendy's side, and is clearly still struggling. He gets a text from Sadie, who has just crossed the border with Taye and doesn't know what's happened. Felix says he'll message her; Andrew tells him to tell Sadie to stay over in Canberra.
Karl comes in with drinks for them, but Andrew is in such a state that he spills it all over himself. Felix takes control, telling Andrew that they should go home so he can clean up and pack a bag for Wendy. Andrew is reluctant to leave, but eventually agrees.
Erinsborough High School
Jane, Susan and Colton are searching the darkened school building for possible clues as to what happened to Wendy. Jane thinks everything seems to be in order, but at that point, Susan spots light shining from under one of the doors. On entering the room, they find Addison, the girl from the bin, lying on a makeshift bed on the floor. Jane evidently knows her, because she addresses her by name, and asks what she's doing here.
Having been questioned as to what happened, Addison nervously explains that she heard someone trying to lock the bin while she was inside, so she banged open the lid and ran away, not realising that Wendy had been knocked to the ground.
ADDISON: I just needed to get out of there as soon as I could... Mrs Rodwell's the best. I feel so bad.
JANE: Well, it was an accident, and it'll be okay. Tell me, Addison - why were you in the skip in the first place?
ADDISON: I was trying to find things to sell. I don't have any money. Mum's not around at the moment (...) We got evicted from our house. She thinks I'm staying with friends.
JANE: You've been staying here for a while, haven't you?
ADDISON (nodding): It didn't work out at the friends'. I thought it'd be easier if I just crashed here.
COLTON: Does your mum know that?
ADDISON: No, I haven't told her. And I don't want to tell her. Mum has some issues.
At this point Leila Potts arrives, from Child Protection Services, Jane having called her in. (She, and we, know Leila from 2020- 21 as the caseworker of Emmett Donaldson, David and Aaron's foster son.) Leila sits down next to Addison; Jane explains she's in Year 10 and one of the school's best students.
ADDISON: There's no point trying to call Mum. I haven't been able to get on to her for ages.
LEILA: What about your dad? Is he in your life?
ADDISON: No, I don't know him.
Addison says she has no other family either, so Leila tells her they can organise temporary accommodation for her tonight, and then figure out a plan.
LEILA: It's all going to be okay.
No 26
Andrew is stressing as he looks for Wendy's sketchbook, to include in her overnight bag. Felix isn't sure sketching will be among Wendy's immediate priorities, but Andrew thinks she might want it and is fixated on finding it. Still concerned by Andrew's behaviour, Felix asks him what's going on. Andrew keeps repeating that he could have lost Wendy, and reiterates how much he cares about her.
FELIX: What's *really* going on? And don't tell me it's nothing.
ANDREW: I can't tell you.
FELIX: Tell me what? Okay, something is seriously not right. We're not leaving here until you tell me what it is.
ANDREW: I'm having an affair with Holly!
Dramatic music swells...
Presently, Andrew tries to explain things to Felix.
FELIX: I know you and Wendy had problems, but...
ANDREW: Yeah, looking back I probably used that as justification. I was still carrying around all this anger - and then, you know, Holly was there. I don't even know how, or why, or when - but something changed. And suddenly there was just this... there was an attraction (...) We hooked up one night, you know. And we said that it could never happen again - or I did. But it did. It did happen again. It wasn't just physical. I mean, she was... she was there for me. She made me feel... alive.
FELIX: And Holly felt the same way?
ANDREW: She said that she loved me. And I said that I loved her too.
FELIX: No wonder she broke up with Max and pushed her friends away.
ANDREW: Well, we had this whole future planned, down on the Peninsula.
FELIX: Holly's there now.
ANDREW: Yeah, I was supposed to go too. Meeting Steven, that was the whole cover story - so then, you know, I could slip away and meet her.
FELIX: So you've decided to leave Wendy?
ANDREW: I said that I would. I just... I agreed to the whole plan, you know? We chose the Peninsula because Steven and Gretchen are down that way. And there was this whole ready- made life for us.
FELIX: Do you still love Wendy?
ANDREW: Oh, mate. When I saw her in the hospital... it nearly killed me to think I could lose her. I do love her so much. But I love Holly too. How did I get here? How do I love two people at the same time?
Felix looks as confused about it as Andrew!
No 28
Susan is telling Karl about the situation with Addison, who she feels awful for having to fend for herself. She says Addison didn't really elaborate on her home life, but that her mum 'seems to have dropped the ball completely' - it's just so sad. Susan goes on to praise Karl for how he dealt with Wendy, calling him a hero.
SUSAN: The way you swung into action - you were in your element!
KARL: Oh, it's just muscle- memory... (realising what she's up to) And no, it *didn't* make me want to go back to medicine, if that's what you're thinking.
SUSAN: Fair enough (...) Hey, wasn't Colton strange today? The way he reacted when he found Wendy.
KARL: Yeah, he did seem rather taken aback.
SUSAN: Taken aback? He was like a rabbit in the headlights.
Karl says Colton was probably just in shock, but Susan looks like she thinks there is more to it.
No 26
Felix and Andrew are still talking. Felix thinks Andrew is in a pretty big mess with the Holly situation. But Andrew thinks he has decided the way forward. He thanks Felix for talking it through with him and not judging him. Felix goes out to take Wendy's overnight bag to the car.
While he's gone, Andrew resumes the search for Wendy's sketchbook, and finds it in the desk. But some papers drop out of it, including photos of them together and a card with his name written in gold pen. Andrew opens the sketchbook and sees what Wendy has been working on - a mood board for their 22nd anniversary wedding vow renewal that she has been planning. Andrew looks deeply guilty.
Erinsborough Hospital
Wendy is still asleep in her hospital bed. Andrew watches her pensively through the window.
Harold's Café
The next morning, Jane tells Colton she's planning on dropping in to see Wendy at the hospital at lunchtime, and suggests Colton come along with her, saying she's sure Wendy would like to thank him for finding her and raising the alarm. But Colton looks uncomfortable with this prospect and says he has a packed day, so won't be able to join her. Jane looks a bit judgy, or concerned, or both.
As they leave, we refocus on Cara and Greg who are out for breakfast. Cara gets a phone call and goes off to one side to take it, but Greg is listening in.
CARA: So there's no sign of the bullet itself in the warehouse? ... Righto. Well, at least we've got the casing. The markings on it should connect it to the gun...
Cara rejoins Greg, who quizzes her about the call. She admits she went back to the warehouse owned by Ricky Dehnam's uncle, and found a bullet casing which is likely from one of the guns she saw when she first checked the place out.
CARA: If we find the matching gun, it could prove the Linwells are back in business. It'd be the first step in taking them all down... But, you know, it might amount to nothing.
Greg looks very shifty indeed.
Erinsborough Hospital
Wendy begins to wake up, and is anxious to find herself in hospital. She calls out for Andrew, but he's not there...
Ramsay Street
Holly has arrived back from the Peninsula, and greets a sheepish- looking Andrew with a smile.
HOLLY: So, have you told her?
ANDREW: ... No. Wendy's in hospital. There was an accident at Eirini, and... your dad looked after her before the ambos got there. He and Susan have been amazing. They're there now, checking in on her.
HOLLY: Is she gonna be okay?
ANDREW: She was just knocked unconscious. She'll be fine. Just a bit of a scare for all of us.
HOLLY: Yeah. I'm so sorry. Of course, you couldn't tell her. It'd be terrible timing. Not that it wouldn't be terrible anyway, but you know what I mean.
ANDREW: ...
HOLLY: Well, I had a couple of really productive days. I dropped my résumé in at a few different pubs; I checked out a couple of potential houses for us...
ANDREW: Holly...
HOLLY: There's one that could be really perfect, and it's available in three weeks.
ANDREW: I can't break up with Wendy.
HOLLY: Yeah, not right now. But when she's recovered...
ANDREW: No, I mean... I'm not gonna break up with her. I need to fix my marriage.
HOLLY: ... No.
ANDREW: I hate to do this to you. I just don't want to string you along, but... I'm sorry, Holly. It's over.
Holly looks disbelievingly.
