The Waterhole
Wendy is thrilled with how #26 looks and is having a celebratory meal with the workers (Sadie and Taye). Holly eventually rocks up after "an event emergency" - the person leading the art class has called off and her cunning plan is to see if Wendy can lead the art class instead. After a bit of thought, Wendy agrees to leading the class.
Number 26
Andrew is checking out the new look of the living room while hearing all about the art class Wendy is now going to be running. Wendy admits to being excited about it, but her happy mood is curtailed when Andrew announces he is off to do some surveillance work on the warehouse.
Harold's café
Max is still at a loss to understand why Holly dropped him. Sadie feels his pain after it dawns on her that Holly has pulled back from her too.
Taye has an idea for the pair - he's so impressed at the beauty products Sadie sold him, but is baulking at the price, and thinks they can do their own line of face masks for a quarter of the price. Max and Sadie aren't exactly jumping in with his idea, although they agree to experiment with him to see if his idea is achievable.
The Waterhole
Terese questions if she's "walked into the community centre by mistake" when she spots the art class sign on the bar and does think it's a winner of an idea when Holly explains her idea. Holly even ropes in a random extra (Trent) although she sells it to him as a dating opportunity.
Hotel
In a hotel room somewhere, Andrew hears the thinking behind the art class Holly as initiated - it is so that Wendy can meet a like- minded person, helping them too along the way. Andrew wishes she'd run it past him first before they begin to get down to why they've met in a hotel room...
Number 26
As they tidy up after dinner, Sadie is curious where her dad is, and Wendy explains about him doing surveillance work at the factory. Wendy is happy at him doing this as long as he stays safe.
Wendy can spot that Sadie is somewhat quiet and wonders what is up. Sadie feels that something is up with Holly, explaining to her mum that they haven't really talked in ages, she is always rushing about from one place to the next and is distancing herself. Wendy feels that Holly is just needing some alone time after splitting from Max, but Sadie isn't buying that, she is upset at Holly pushing her away. Sadie is reassured from her mum that the pair of them will get through this.
Hotel
Having TITTNL, Holly wishes she and Andrew could stay there together. Andrew shows Holly some of the research he has been doing, to aid her suggestion of moving away from Erinsborough. The location he has found is near Sandy Point with he added bonus of spend time getting to know his dad/sister better. She is thrilled with his suggestion and that he is thinking seriously about it, even if there might be some logistical hurdles like him getting a transfer! Holly acknowledges that its hard but is sure in some way, things will work out which includes the pair going away for a weekend together.
Ramsay Street (next day)
When Wendy spots Andrew yawning as he collects the morning paper, she suggests he heads back inside to rest more.
Holly pops over to check Wendy is all set for the day (she is) and just at that Sadie appears with a pile of goodies that Wendy is impressed with until she hears that it's for making facemasks. She isn't exactly buying the idea when Sadie explains it to her and leaves the girls to it. Sadie invites Holly to join in once she finishes her shift, but Holly turns the offer down.
The Waterhole
Wendy is all ready for the session and the punters, including Trent start arriving for it. Holly wastes no time in introducing Trent to Wendy - she remembers him from when she worked there, and the pair begin catching up with one another, much to Holly's delight!
Number 26
After Taye comes up with the first concoction (yoghurt, avocado and oatmeal) Sadie wishes she was now at the art class! Sadie isn't exactly convinced at their plan either as folks could concoct the same mixture themselves, but Taye is confident that folks are lazy and will want something ready prepared rather than them doing the work. Max isn't exactly enthralled either, but a bit of bribery has him volunteering to go first and so Taye begins to spread the goo on Max's face.
MAX: I look hideous!
Harold's café
Holly visits the café to try and drum up some more punters for her art class. The random extras [silently] say no but Terese gives into bribery (copious amounts of coffee) to attend the class! There was one other customer Holly didn't approach - Andrew!
The Waterhole
The session is in full swing, and Wendy is in her element.
When Andrew pops momentarily into the pub to see how it's going, he doesn't seem too happy at Wendy 'interacting' with Trent! Wendy doesn't actually spot that he's popped into the bar, its Holly who chats with him.
Number 26
Max and Sadie have another facemask on but still aren't buying into Taye's plan.
The Waterhole
After seeing what Terese has done, Wendy praises her attempt, but Terese isn't exactly too thrilled at her painting. Another who isn't thrilled either is Trent, due to the lack of single females attending, but Holly points him in Wendy's direction. This confuses Trent as he knows she is married but Holly paints it as the Rodwell's aren't a solid couple, reminding him that Andrew didn't move to Murrayville with Wendy.
TRENT: Are you trying to set us up?
HOLLY: No!
It would appear that Trent is interested in Wendy and Holly claims she isn't setting him up, she just "likes connecting people."
HOLLY: You can never have too many friends, right?
When Wendy offers the chance to do a second drawing, the class decide to bail! Holly doesn't look too impressed at the punters rushing out as if the place as on fire!!!
Number 26
From the face masks they've created, it looks like they might have a winner. Although Max has a face like thunder on him when Sadie/Taye start throwing the facial mixture at each other and eventually asks "should I leave you two to it?!" The pair are so engrossed at each other, they don't reply to his question and an angry Max rips off the headband he's been wearing and leaves the house - it is only when the door slams do they notice that he's left!
Lassiters Complex
As the pair leave the pub, Holly is trying to sell the event to Wendy as having been successful even if everyone rushed away at the end [rather than stay to do another painting] but she isn't convinced and walks off.
Andrew comes out from where he's been lurking at the side of the pub, to question Holly over [to him] trying to set Wendy up with Trent. Holly tries to sell her idea to Andrew, but he doesn't think they can force things, "it has to be organic." Holly gets that, but doing this helps her "think about the life we're gonna have" and so is just "help[ing] it along." Likewise, Andrew gets that but quickly adds that what she is doing isn't the way.
(Later)
Sadie and Taye find Max sitting on a bench in the complex and apologise for their behaviour back at #26. He doesn't want them not to have fun [because of him], which they get and Taye replies "it doesn't mean we have to rub it in your face either."
Holly exits the hotel and blanks the trio sitting on the bench! This is the final straw for Sadie, she's had enough, and so stands up and rushes after Holly to know what is going on!
SADIE: Just because you broke up with Max, doesn't mean you need to dump all of us!
Holly denies doing that, she hung out with them yesterday until Sadie reminds her that she bailed at the first opportunity. Thinking quickly, Holly replies that she doesn't want Sadie to pick sides - she can't be friends with Max and thinks it is unfair putting Sadie in the middle. This confuses Sadie as she doesn't feel in the middle and is firmly told by Holly to be with the boys and that Max needs her.
SADIE: Holly, what are you talking about? I can be friends with both of you.
HOLLY: No, you can't. It's too messy. I think from now on, we should stay out of each other's lives.
Once she's said that, Holly continues on her way leaving a stunned Sadie rooted to the spot before the brain catches up with what has just happened.
SADIE: What the hell?! Don't walk away...
...except Holly ignores this and keeps on walking towards where Lassiters on Tap is parked. She hides round the back of the van, away from where the trio are still standing, and so they can't see Holly get emotional and trying hard not to let the tears fall.
