Number 22 (garden)
Nell is trying to calm herself down in the garden but is spotted by Terese and she rushes outside to check on Nell. Terese admits she is surprised to see Nell home and the lass comes up with the excuse that she didn't really want to watch the movie. She then starts to complain that her chest is tight, so Terese immediately steps into stepmum mode and works with her doing some breathing exercises.

Aaron talks to Leo on how telling the girls went. He also admits that he's happy too, adding that he never saw himself being in a long- term relationship with someone other than David.
AARON: He has just changed everything.
Leo asks what the difference is, and Aaron admits that he is ready now unlike previously. However, the pair do get somewhat melancholy on the realisation that both their girls will grow up without one of their parents although they are quick to add in too that they have great partners to help support keeping the memory alive of their missing parent.
AARON: Life really does go on, doesn't it?
LEO: Yeah.
Moments later, the pair welcome Jane back from her travels and she confirms to Nicolette that yes, she is feeling better - the time spent with Joe has done her good.

Karl is confused with something he's found - it's one of Sadie/Taye's love dice! Susan is unsure about it either and suggests he asks Holly.
Remi joins them and talks to them over what Cara said to her. While admitting that Cara is correct, Remi is unsure if they know how to change, to prevent the boys from suffering.
Number 24
Leo, Aaron and Nicolette are chatting nonchalantly while the girls play ahead of a visit from Rhett/Tilly when Jane aka 'Fairy Grandma' appears from her room dressed up and goes to interact with the girls by granting them their wishes. In the background, Aaron asks Nicolette if Jane is still trying to make it up to them.
NICOLETTE: She wasn't scary then, she sure is now!
Ramsay Street
After heading outside and spotting the boys sitting on the driveway to #26 with Taye, Cara ponders at the scene, before about turning and heading back inside.
We then cut to the boys where Taye rues the fact it was his chat with Nell which resulted in her falling out with JJ, and in turn, this caused JJ to take it out on his brother as he thought Dex was behind things. Taye doesn't think what he said was wrong and equally JJ doesn't see how (or why) Nell got upset. After hearing that the boys have to chill, Dex admits that his hard given what his happening between their parents. To try and lift the boys' spirit, Taye gets the pair to start playing basketball with him.

Tilly has joined the girls in playing with 'Fairy Grandma' and is impressed at one of the tricks Jane has done… unlike Nicolette who mumbles in the background she is going to need therapy! She is also going to need a bucket too after witnessing the lovefest going on between Rhett/Aaron when she joins the pair in the kitchen.
However, the lovefest goes stone cold when Rhett ignores/doesn't reply/acknowledge when Aaron happens to say that he loves Rhett.

Given what Remi said earlier, the K's have decided to act as mediators hence why Cara is sitting with them on the sofa when Remi appears. The ladies are unsure the K's plan will work given what's happened ever time they have tried to talk although Karl interprets that as them both being in agreement. Susan pleads for them to give it a go, they have nothing left to lose given how back things are currently.
Number 24
When Nicolette comes out suitably dressed in a feminine version of 'suited and booted' Jane comments that she looks "formidable" as well as being very different from her Harolds uniform!
NICOLETTE: Well, that look is all about being sassy and annoying Paul, whereas this one's just about being a boss.
Aaron joins them and comments too on how fierce Nicolette looks. However from the way he is talking, she can tell something has happened and so Aaron goes on to explain about what happened in the kitchen earlier with Rhett. Nicolette is thrilled he admitted his feelings to Rhett whereas Aaron is petrified that he's spooked Rhett with his declaration. Jane's advice is for Aaron to take a breath whereas Nicolette wants to slap him… so he can pull himself together and own what was said to Rhett.
NICOLETTE: Just back yourself. Talk to him and tell him exactly how you are feeling. And even if he doesn't say it back immediately, it doesn't mean he's not going to in the future. This isn't a big deal!
Jane is very impressed at what her daughter has just said and asks "when did you become the wise one of the house?!"
NICOLETTE: Oh believe me, I'm more shocked than anyone! Maybe it's the suit?!
Number 28
The K's start with the trust issue between the pair and when Cara brings up going to see Beverly, Remi wants to know why given they had started to make some progress. Cara's rationale is Remi looking lost at the tram, which frustrates Remi too, because she can't remember Cara as her partner and it isn't helping that she is carrying on like that.
That admission causes Karl to ask why Remi gets upset and her admission is the pressure Remi feels Cara is putting on her to remember and "I just can't" because "it makes me so anxious." Cara is quick to come in and say she isn't trying to pressure Remi, she's simply "trying to fix my mistake." That comment seems to confuse Remi, so Cara then explains that it is due to her that Remi hit her head and can't remember her.
CARA: And it hurts like hell.
Cara's admission of fault seems to get through to Remi and she admits to wanting to get to know Cara and agrees to "stay open" if Cara will respect her boundaries. With a nod of her head, Cara confirms that she "can do that."
CARA: Just… give me another chance.
Yorokobi
Leo is impressed at Nicolette's attire and that she has done her homework on how she thinks things can be improved but he does add that she doesn't have to prove herself. Nicolette feels that after the last time, she has to be better, plus is determined to show she is "so much better than my brother!"
Number 24
Jane and the girls are having a whale of a time playing at fairies, so much so Tilly wants to know why she can come back! "Very soon," Rhett replies adding in that they will be spending a lot of time at #24 and immediately Tilly pipes up to ask if that's because Aaron is his boyfriend. Correct answer which earns the lass a hug from her dad before she goes back to playing fairies with Jane/the girls.
RHETT: Here's hoping Fairy Grandma makes an appearance every time we come here!
Aaron is sure that can be arranged! Brett admits to Aaron that "every day I feel we're getting closer" and how his life has changed in the past year. "I got a lot to be grateful for," he adds and gives Aaron an affectionate kiss on his forehead. This admission is Aaron's chance to get in the non- reaction [from Rhett] to the use of the 'L' word.
Rhett isn't sure what Aaron is going on about, and initially Aaron wants to keep quiet but Rhett forces him to explain but Aaron lies and says he mentioned Rhett/Tilly coming for a sleepover and given there was no response, Aaron thought he'd overstepped. Now he's paying attention, Rhett would love to come for a sleepover and is sure Tilly would too. However, from the look Rhett has on his face after Aaron joins in with playing with the girls/Jane, that wasn't the original question Aaron asked that he didn't respond to earlier.

The K's have invited JJ and Dex [Taye is there too] to join the mediation session so they can hear what Cara/Remi have to say. Cara/Remi apologise for being so caught up in their own stuff that they've not realised how it has been affecting them, however they do promise to do better beginning immediately! JJ is pleased to hear they're both on the same page again and Remi hopes their [new] actions rubs off on JJ/Dex too but Taye interrupts to say the lads have sorted things out.
With the peace settlement in agreement, Karl heads to the kitchen to make celebratory cuppas. Taye volunteers to lend a hand too and when he gets to the kitchen, he immediately spots the love dice and ask where it came from. Karl explains he found it in the back yard but isn't sure which board game it came from. "It's not from a board game per se…" Taye says and of course Karl can't but help reply asking where does it come from?!
Yorokobi
Leo and Nicolette have had a good first day working together. She admits that the return to Yorokobi feels right and with everything else in her life going well, drops in the bombshell to Leo that she wants another baby! Leo is happy shocked and Nicolette clarifies that the [wanted] baby isn't immediately but maybe in a few years' time.
Nicolette confirms that she has spoken to Aaron, and David too right before he died, and has been thinking about it more since babies came up after Cara wanted to have one. She intends to talk to Aaron about this soon and Leo is sure that David would be happy too [at this news].

With Aaron occupied playing charades with the girls, Rhett quizzes Jane in the kitchen to ask what is up with Aaron as he is sure she knows. Initially Jane plays ignorant but he forces her to explain, so she goes onto say that Aaron said something which he didn't hear but [Aaron] is fearful that Rhett might feel uncomfortable if he repeated it.
RHETT: (confused) I don't get it?
JANE: A certain four- lettered word?
The penny now drops with Rhett and he goes over to join in with Aaron/the girls and after pulling a name from the hat, tries to get them to figure out who his character is…
(Rhett holds up 3 fingers)
AARON: Three words.
(Rhett holds up 1 finger)
AARON: First word.
(Rhett points to his eye)
AARON: I. I.
(Rhett now holds up 2 fingers)
AARON: Second word.
(Rhett makes a heart shape with his hands)
AARON: Uh… Love? I love…
(Rhett now holds up 3 fingers)
AARON: Third word.
(Rhett points his finger at Aaron)
AARON: Me…
(Rhett points his finger again at Aaron)
AARON: Uh… You… I love you.
Finally the penny fully drops for Aaron and silently, Rhett repeats 'I love you' to Aaron but adds on the 'too' to the end. Cue happy smiles from both guys as they stare at each other across the table.
Lassiters Complex
Nicolette and Cara exit The Waterhole chatting about the K's mediation. Cara admits to feeling she is "getting somewhere" with Remi, but in answer to Nicolette's question, reuniting is still a long way off. Cara confirms she is okay with this, as her goal is being in a good place with Remi and promises "no more fixing."
Given Nicolette's demeanour as they've been chatting, in addition to what she is wearing, Cara assumes that Nicolette's first day at Yorokobi went well.
NICOLETTE: I feel like there's hope on the horizon for both of us.
CARA: Agreed! And no- one rocks a suit and heels quite like you do!
NICOLETTE: Well Leo certainly doesn't!
Number 22 (garden)
Nell is practicing her deep breathing exercises when JJ arrives and sits down next to her on the patio step. She acknowledges that today has been weird one and JJ doesn't disagree, instead telling her about the breakthrough with his parents, which she is pleased to hear.
When Nell then apologises for freaking him out, he wants to know why that happened. She concludes that the freak out occurred because she is missing her family in addition to the New York stuff being talked about by Paul/Terese. This explanation makes sense to him, but she then drops a bombshell by announcing that she's off to Colac for a few days.
JJ: I'll still be here when you get back.
Harolds café
Nicolette is thrilled to hear from Aaron that Rhett has said the 'L' word back to Aaron. He admits to her (and Jane) about how happy he is but is warned to "touch wood before you jinx yourself" from Nicolette!
Aaron has barely touched the wooden counter when Rhett comes into the café and Aaron can sense something is up. Rhett explains that when he took Tilly home, her mum informed him that they're moving to Adelaide! Everyone is shocked and sympathetic to this new especially since he's just reconnected to Tilly. That is when Rhett drops the next bombshell - he's been invited to join them in Adelaide.
