Number 24
Byron comes searching for food but finds the freezer empty and Jane isn't too impressed at him coming over to look for food either! He tries to stay for dinner but it's a no from Nicolette, as there isn't enough.

When Jane takes the girls to wash their hands, Byron asks Nicolette why he's getting the tough love from her? Aaron reminds him that his mum is still grieving plus got stressed out after his bashing, so she's had a lot to cope with and suggests that perhaps they all need to help Jane out.

Number 22
With Leo sorting out the rubbish from their takeaway meal, it allows Terese to quiz Krista on them trying for a baby and the mixed messages. Krista felt that she couldn't break his excitement at them possibly being pregnant and seems to now be weighing up whether she does want a baby or not. Terese reminds her of how big a thing this is, and she shouldn't go into it with any misgivings before urging Krista to talk to her husband.

Number 26
Now they've done the deed, Taye and Sadie seem to have some regrets about hooking up due to Byron and how "close to home" things are. While they aren't doing anything wrong, they plan to keep what they have on the quiet.

Number 24
Krista and Leo come to collect Isla and hear the wee lass has had a blast. Somehow talk gets round to Jane's love life and Nicolette suggests they "dust the cobwebs" off her dating profile! When Nicolette goes to use Jane's computer to do that, she discovers Jane has been cyberstalking Clint [and his new girlfriend], on the pretence of being "curious". This revelation makes Nicolette even more determined to get her mum a new man in her life.

JANE: The last thing I need is a boyfriend thieving right from underneath my nose... or worse!

Aaron, Leo and Krista all back Nicolette up that Jane needs a man but the lady in question keeps tight lipped!

Number 32
Since he's been cut off from Jane over food, Byron is on the hunt for some but with the fridge bare and Taye having a "piano bar emergency" there isn't any leftover takeaway food either. He eventually finds something to nibble on and mentions to his housemate about Nicolette trying to get Jane back on the dating apps. Taye thinks that Byron should follow his mum and get "back out there" but Byron isn't in the right frame of mind to move on just yet, possibly not for up to the next 6 months either! Taye doesn't look too impressed at hearing that timescale!

Number 24 (next day)
Officer [to be] Cara drops by in her new police uniform to check if anyone needs a lift to her graduation ceremony (they don't) and is impressed with the glad rags Jane has on. Cara thinks Jane is coming to her ceremony, but we hear she's taken Nicolette's advice and is dressed up because she is on a date. Nicolette is very impressed at the speed Jane has move after their chat the previous night.

Penthouse suite
With Leo getting into ovulation apps, Krista breaks the news that she doesn't want a baby!

(Later)

Commercial break later and Krista apologises to Leo for her change in mindset - she knows that he is an amazing father, and while she loves their little family, she isn't just yet ready to extend it and didn't say something (until now) because he was so excited when having a child was discussed. Leo wishes she'd said something earlier, that he would have listened but ultimately, it would still have resulted in Leo being hurt. The penny drops with Leo over the real reason behind the hesitation - Hope.

KRISTA: I know I don't talk about her much, but she's always on my mind. She would have been walking now, and talking too.

Leo now realises that perhaps he shouldn't have rushed into them having a child although Krista does admit she should have said something earlier and thanks Terese for encouraging her to be honest with him. Leo is grateful for Terese's intervention, and they don't need to rush into anything.

Kirsta looks like a weight has been lifted from her by saying something to him and admits she should have known that he would be caring, supporting and understanding. Just as Leo reassures her that once she is ready, he will be there with her, Abby comes through from her room to join them. The pair are a bit perplexed when they ask if she wants to spend the day with Jane/Isla [as both have meetings] but her reply is no... because she is scared!

Number 26 (garden)
As they spend time in the spa, Taye thanks Sadie for being comfortable around him not to hide her scar. She is grateful to him (and others) for helping her do this and we hear she has an appointment with a plastic surgeon about the scar too.

The pair are forced to take evasive action (Sadie telling Taye to duck under the water) when Cara arrives looking for Andrew. Thankfully for Taye, she doesn't chat too long, so he can surface and breath although when he does surface, he isn't too impressed she didn't tell Cara they were hanging out as friends!

SADIE: Well... honestly, that was more fun! Plus I'm really impressed with how long you can hold your breath for!

Penthouse suite
It turns out that Abby is scared of Jane and Leo/Krista are baffled since the wee lass usually loves it there, and so they try to figure out what's behind it.

Number 22
Abby seems thrilled that Terese is babysitting her today and in turn, Leo thanks her too for supporting Krista, adding that once the time is right to expand the family, they will discuss it together.

Number 26 (garden)
Taye is forced to put his breath holding abilities into practice again when they hear Byron calling. Sadie does her best to get rid of Byron (he's dropping alcohol off for the party) and the need for air eventually forces Taye to the surface before she can get rid of Byron. It is unclear who is shocked the most with his 'sudden' arrival!

The Waterhole
Krista is impressed by the outfit Jane has on and that she is on a date too... with a doctor apparently although she is trying to downplay it all. Given what Abby said to them, Krista enquires if anything untoward happened to make Abby say something? Initially Jane can't think of something but then remembers raising her voice when both Isla and Abby were using crayons to scribble on the walls, although she didn't think she raised her voice that much. While apologising on Abby's behalf over what she did, it makes sense and Krista is sure the wee lass will forget about what happened soon.

Number 26
"Please tell me this isn't what it looks like," Byron says and when it comes out that it is exactly what he sees it as, he isn't too amused. Taye does try to say they "didn't plan for this" but by this point, Byron has had enough and declares that he is "fine" since its none of his business. He starts to walk away but then immediately turns back to point out to Sadie that she's got a funny way of showing that she wants them to remain as friends. Taye gets it too for listening while Byron poured his heart out over how much he was hurting.

Before Byron can get worked up anymore, Sadie tells him to calm down! She wishes Byron hadn't found out like this before adding that they aren't "doing anything wrong here." As far as Byron is concerned, Sadie is stabbing him in the back and hearing that Taye/Sadie is casual isn't helping either!

SADIE: I'm sorry, but like you said, what happens between Taye and I, it's none of your business.
BYRON: Nice one Sadie. You couldn't be any clearer with the lack of respect for me if you tried.

Harold's café
Leo and Krista hear that Abby has had a braw time with Terese, with only seeing the ducks at the lake remaining unfulfilled so Leo takes Abby off there.

Being alone allows Terese to talk privately with Krista and she confirms at how well Leo is taking her feelings into consideration over starting their own family. Krista admits she didn't think having another baby was high on Leo's agenda, but Terese can see how he'd want her to experience what he has had with Abby. However, it seems that the more Krista thinks about it, the less likely she feels to be a mum again. Terese reminds her there is no hurry to have a baby, when the time is right, she will know but in the meantime advises that she focuses on reconnecting properly with Leo and enjoys the family time they currently have with Abby.

Ramsay Street
Nicolette and Aaron are in the street when Jane arrives home after her disastrous date - things seemed to be going well when the date suddenly had to leave. Jane declares that this is the last time she is taking dating advice from her daughter!

Number 32 (garden)
Taye comes out into the garden to tell the still fuming Byron that he is off to Cara's graduation. Byron wants to know who else knows about him/Sadie and when he hears its nobody else, asks if they can keep it that way as "it's humiliating enough." When Taye apologises to his "bro", Byron isn't amused at the use of that word and points out that he no longer is his bro!

It is really getting to Byron that he got with Sadie rather than anyone else and Taye tries to explain that the last thing he wanted to do was upset Byron. "Are you going to keep seeing her?" Byron asks and when Taye hesitates his reply, Byron then tells him not to, "you've already told me everything I need to know." Taye pleads that they can "work this out" but is told to "shut up," Byron doesn't want to hear anything more.

Number 22
Jane is unloading about her bad date to Terese but over a cuppa rather than something alcoholic. She is so worked up about how bad it was, she goes to text the doctor to say how extremely disappointed she was by his actions on their date and whilst she didn't expect to be swept off her feet, he could have shown a lick of humanity!

TERESE: You go get him! Hold him accountable!

Jane finishes off by hoping the doctor treats future dates much better [than he did her]... that is if he is lucky enough to get another date!

TERESE: Oh Jane, you're good at this!
JANE: Well, a lifetime studying the English language has to amount for something!

Out of curiosity, Terese asks who the doctor is just in case he applies for the role at Eirini? Jane replies that his name is "Gav" and shows her phone to Terese and the audience watching (and Terese) knows that the Gav is Gavin Bowman! The name isn't meaning anything to Jane, so Terese fills her in that he is the one who "poisoned the wine at the Eirini launch" as well as kidnapping Holly!
