Eirini Rising
Susan is doing her very best to get Karl to change his mind, but he feels that he's let them [Eirini] down and coupled with what Darcy did to him, he plans to stick to his plan of resigning. As a compromise, will assist with finding his replacement so not to fully leave Terese in the lurch.

Number 22
After hearing how much of a great time Paul is having in Italy, Nell is doing her best to convince Terese to go away too, but she feels the can't leave Eirini just now as things are still unsettled after Darcy.

Number 24
Aaron is trying to figure out exactly why Colton and Rhett should have gone to the bathroom together before Nicolette nudges him with a reason why! It then dawns on him that Rhett was "in the mood" and consequentially he's now toast! Nicolette isn't too surprised that something happened given Aaron "bailed on two hot man- loving men that were sad about being baled on!"

The Waterhole (next day)
Remi stops by to chat to the K's when she spots them after entering the bar. She volunteers her services for Karl after hearing that the rehab is a grind, but he turns her offer around to see if she'd be interesting in his job at Eirini! Despite the pitch Karl gave, Remi is happy at the hospital but will get back to him if she can think of a suitable replacement.

Susan tries again to persuade Karl to not resign, but his mind is more than made up plus the replacement would effectively have a clean, untarnished slate to begin from.

Number 22
Colton and Terese are brainstorming ideas when she gets a text from Paul, bragging about how good life is in Italy. Terese admits she would like to go but feels she can't leave Eirini; however Colton not just has a cunning plan up his sleeve but apparently its already in motion!

Ramsay Street
Aaron comes out of #24 and upon spotting Colton and Rhett chatting, he has already added 2+2 together and concluded that they have hooked up. Unfortunately for Aaron, the answer is not 4 and discovers the reason behind the bathroom visit - Rhett's eye needed flushing out after a bug flew into it… and left so they could talk about Aaron… well how they could stop what feels like a competition between them to win his heart!

COLTON: Yeah, there's no "everybody wins" situation here and neither one of us wants to be a sore loser.

Aaron doesn't believe them, wondering why they are hanging out just now? Colton explains he's just had a meeting with Terese and Rhett was coming to see him. The penny drops that Aaron has been a numpty and he apologises to them both but they aren't exactly accepting it and instead Rhett gives Colton a lift, leaving Aaron standing on the street!

The Waterhole
While Karl heads to the toilet, Susan approaches Remi to see if she can help her buy some time by pretending to show interest in taking over Karl's job. She is utterly convinced that her husband doesn't want to leave Eirini, because he hasn't thought through what his post- Eirini plan would be.

SUSAN: I believe that he's made a snap decision based on a whole lot of trauma.
REMI: And you don't want him to wind up regretting it.
SUSAN: Exactly!

While Remi gets Susan, she isn't keen to string Karl along either. Susan gets this too, but she feels that a bit of stalling is the only way she can slow Karl down [from making rash decisions] and to get him out of this slump he is in.

Community Centre
Colton leads a small group, including Vera and Gino, in doing nude yoga!

Harolds café
After now realising that Rhett and Colton didn't hook up, Aaron has a right go at Nicolette for her messing with his mind that the pair had hooked up. She's shocked to hear that they aren't as [to her] it did look like something was happening between them and offers to help again! That goes down like a lead balloon as Aaron is never taking Nicolette's advice again, he will come up with something himself to earn their forgiveness.

Community Centre
The nude yoga has gone down well with everyone. Vera wants the fun to continue and plans on going to the Barry Manilow tribute concert at the RSL which Colton is organising.

Harolds café
Remi catches Karl for a chat as he is having some sustenance (coffee and cake) ahead of his next physical therapy session. She feels she was perhaps a bit hasty in dismissing his offer earlier and feels the need to think about it properly. Even though Remi is only thinking about it, Karl already has her in the job as he sees her being a "terrific fit" and it would make him "feel more at peace" leaving his role.

The Waterhole/Community Centre
In the bar, Aaron seeks Rhett out to sincerely apologise to him by jumping to the wrong conclusions and would love it if he'd let him explain. In the Community Centre, Colton isn't exactly wanting to listen to Aaron, given what was said on the street, but with a clear mind after the yoga session, he is prepared to listen to Aaron's explanation.

Back in the bar and Aaron thought Rhett was in the mood after the BBQ (he was) and since he wasn't around, that is why Rhett then hooked up with Colton. "So you thought I wanted to get laid, regardless of who it was with?" Rhett asks, which [if that was the case] gets to him too, as Aaron is not exclusive with either of them. In the Community Centre, picking up Rhett's accusation of being "hypocritical," Aaron concedes to Colton that he has been just that! He adds that everyone is free to choose and so he shouldn't have got upset about that then happening.

Back in the bar, with Rhett attending the BBQ as Aaron's guest, Rhett was surprised to then see Colton arrive. His arrival surprised Aaron too before going on to admit to being "overwhelmed" stuck in the middle of them especially since one day he will have to break… Whilst Aaron doesn't finish off the sentence, it's clear what he is meaning. Rhett isn't in the mood for sympathy, since he thought he "was doing a pretty decent thing considering" which Aaron does get… but just "didn't see that."

Back with Colton, and Aaron can't but acknowledge that he gets how much Colton is into him and who is appalled at the mere idea Aaron could think he would then sleep with Rhett. Aaron admits to being so out of his depth and because of that, Colton and Rhett are paying for it. Back with Rhett and as he doesn't know what else can be said, he gets up and walks out of the bar… and in the Community Centre, Colton does the same to Aaron.

Number 22
Terese (and the K's) are full of praise not just for the nude yoga session Colton ran but for organising the Barry Manilow tribute outing too. Knowing how well Colton has handled things today, has also convinced Terese (after the K's reaffirm that Nell can move in) to join Paul in Europe… however with such a great team around her, Terese can't wait to return to work too after her trip!

Number 28
Susan plays dumb when Karl mentions that Remi is showing interest in taking over from him at Eirini. He even has an idea over how to get her over the line and into the job, thus being able to "present Terese with a solution, not a problem." Nervously, Susan thinks Karl is still "not in the best place to make a decision this big" and isn't ready to give up the Eirini legacy either. Karl thanks his wife for her concerns and wonders if her comments are about how they will manage financially if he does leave but she is quick to reject that idea and to reaffirm that she's only worried about him and begs that he takes more time to make a decision.

KARL: I really don't have to. I know what I want.

From her facial expression after he's said that, Susan doesn't think so!

Lassiters Complex
Nicolette comes out and drops a marshmallow laden mug on the table Aaron is sitting on. He asks if she's confused him with Isla but since this forgiveness trick works with the wee lass, she thinks it will work on him too! It's a 'no deal' from Aaron as he pushes the mug away, so Nicolette deduces that chatting to Colton/Rhett didn't go so well!

AARON: Not one bit!

Nicolette's suggestion that they just need time is met with a scoff, so she twists things around to suggest that his overreaction [because he likes them both so much] should be seen as a compliment! "They didn't see it that way," he reminds her but she doesn't think the fact he made a genuine connection with both will cause either of them to throw that away "over a misunderstanding?" A bit more forcibly this time, Aaron reminds her she didn't see how hurt they both were.

The pairs attention is then drawn to the other side of the complex where Rhett/Colton are getting on very well with each other talking about the yoga session.

AARON: Wow, "how to lose two guys in one day," the Aaron Brennan story!

Erinsborough hospital
Susan drops by to thank Remi for chatting to Karl about the job. However, she warns that given how determined Karl is a about quitting, she is sure a hard sell is coming Remi's way and gives her an 'out' if she wants it. Remi agrees that it would be wrong for Karl to give Eirini up, especially for the wrong reasons too.

Seconds after Susan leaves, the ambos bring in a patient on a trolley and Remi immediately rushes to the patient who is a male assault victim in a critical condition. The talking ambo goes to tell Remi they found ID but she doesn't need that.

REMI: I know him, he's my neighbour.
