Lassiters hotel entrance
Terese and Paul continue their public spat over her moving back to the street when Chelsea tries to intervene and point out that Paul is only trying to help them. That doesn't go down well and Terese storms off telling Paul that she has "no choice" but to do this!

Inside the lift to the penthouse, an angry and frustrated Terese takes that frustration out on one of the lift panels when she thumps it!

Number 30
An upset Cara packs away all the baby things from the house. She admits that she got too attached to her nephew and asks Remi if she is an "awful person" for thinking that they deserve the wee toot and Chelsea doesn't? "No," Remi replies and given Cara is unsure of how she will react when she next sees her sister, suggests that they put Thomas first, which hopefully will lead them into finding a way to support both mother and son.

Lassiters Park
Max spots Taye after he's just said goodbye to another satisfied client. He's happy to report he's managed to keep both parts of his life separate and under control so there is "no more repeats of hotel gate!"

Meanwhile Aarons reaches the outdoor gym when he is out on a run, where is a topless guy working out. Whether it's a plot or not but Aaron takes his top off and pretends to wring the sweat out, but whilst doing this, topless guy spots Aaron and it turns out the guy is Rhett.

The pair greet each other warmly (but draw the line at sweaty hugs!) and begin to catch up with each other. When Rhett reveals he's now got contact with his daughter, he suggests they catch up properly over a coffee, which Aaron says yes to.

Piano bar
Taye is consoling Richard the pianist over issues in his personal wife (he reveals his wife is having an affair) when the wife then walks into the bar… it's the latest client Taye was with! The client (Monica) is shocked to see Taye again and that he knows her hubby although both play it very cool so not to give the game away.

Lassiters hotel (room 408)
Chelsea lets Paul into her hotel room - he's trying to avoid going upstairs to see Terese. He isn't going to back down on them staying at Lassiters and while he has a cuddle with Thomas, Chelsea suggests that given he isn't the daddy, he should be Uncle Paul instead (along with Auntie Terese if she comes round to the idea of Paul supporting them). Paul seems happy with his new title as he tells Thomas (and Chelsea) everything will be okay although both jump when there is a knock on the door! Chelsea answers and finds the caller is her sister and Paul takes that as his cue to go and see Terese!

"I'm not here to fight," Cara says after Paul heads off, something Chelsea readily agrees with! Despite saying that, Cara then adds that she isn't happy with what has happened, but Chelsea is still her sister.

Penthouse suite
Nell and Terese are packing their stuff up (although Terese is non- committal whether she is breaking up with Paul or not) when Paul arrives home. On seeing them packing, he realises that the threat wasn't a hoax, and so begs Terese not to do this. Nell gives a huge eye roll at this point and retreats to the safely her room as Paul tries to justify his actions over moving Chelsea and Thomas into the hotel.

PAUL: I can't just switch my love for Thomas off like that.

Terese gets he's got "an emotional attachment to the child" but equally feels she has to have "some level of respect" for herself too. "I respect you too," Paul immediately replies but Terese disagrees given he ignored her suggestion of letting Chelsea sort out her woes, instead moving her into the hotel, "just to have a child close by that's not even yours!"

TERESE: So while you're doing whatever you feel you need to do, I need some space.

Harolds café
Aaron and Rhett are catching up and he is pleased to hear that Rhett has regular contact with his daughter… but apparently that meant the end of things with Patrick.

Meanwhile Remi is pleased to hear about Cara's chat with her sister, even if isn't an 'all is forgiven one' when the pair enter the café. Their attention though is then drawn to Aaron and Rhett chatting and Cara looks pleased to see this.

Piano bar
Krista isn't too amused at the ambience in the bar when she and Leo drop by - Monica has a scowly face on, whilst Richard is playing Beethoven's symphony #5. Taye explains that Richard is going through some stuff but that isn't acceptable to Krista and she orders her manager to do his job! Almost reluctantly, Taye heads over to ask Richard that he perks things up a bit… and instead an upbeat version of Beethoven's symphony #5 as Richard/ Monica look at each other with anger in their eyes.

The Waterhole
Aaron has summoned Krista and Leo for drinks at the bar to tell them about his meeting with Rhett and how well things went. Leo/Kirsta are thrilled to then hear that Aaron has decided that he is now ready to date.

Piano bar
When we return, the atmosphere is awful again and guests are walking out and Taye looks almost relived when Richard decides to take his break. Monica is relived he's gone too as it allows her to chat with Taye - she admits to not knowing he was her husbands boss when they instigated things! Apparently Monica does love Richard, he just doesn't satisfy her after 15 years of marriage!! Monica then picks the wrong time to tell Taye that he isn't "the first escort I've hired," just as Richard walks back into the bar… cue awkwardness all round!!!

Number 22
After entering the house, Terese admits to Nell that she didn't expect to be back and after dismissing 'muscles' aka JJ to get the rest of their cases, reassures Terese that things will be all right.

Music montage
With 'Hold on tight' playing we see a mournful Terese looking around the downstairs of #22 before heading to Lassiters hotel and Chelsea holding Thomas in her arms before heading the penthouse suite where an equally mournful Paul looks lost in his empty palace.

Penthouse suite
The music montage ends when the lift pings to signal Leo's arrival to see his dad.

Leo wants to know how Paul thinks things are going to play out. This begins with Paul saying he simply wants to help Chelsea get on her feet, rejecting Leo's accusation that Chelsea will string it out to take advantage of him. Paul tells him about liking Chelsea's suggesting he becomes an "uncle figure" in Thomas' life and sees it as a compromise. He also rejects Leo's suggestion that would be unrealistic given the bond he already has with Thomas. Leo isn't too sure that Terese will come around to becoming the toots 'Auntie' and suggests instead that the best thing to get Chelsea back on her feet is to "get them both out!"

LEO: If you don't, you'll lose Terese.

Piano bar
The atmosphere is still awful in the Piano bar although it is marginally helped by Richard not playing downbeat songs on the piano.

In a corner, without going into specifics, Taye unloads to Max the mess he's found himself in again, thinking it is worse than "hotel gate", and is after some advice from his mate. Max suggests that Taye needs to be honest and with a nod of the head, he heads over to talk to Richard.

Richard isn't exactly welcoming of Taye coming over but listens as Taye tries to explain he didn't know they were married and definitely didn't mean for him to find out about their arrangement. "I don't understand why she's doing this," is the reply along with wanting to know what he is doing wrong. Given what Monica said to Taye, he knows the answer so subtly suggests to Richard what is required!

Harolds café (next day)
Remi, Cara, JJ and Chelsea are having a pleasant brekkie when Paul arrives wanting to talk with Chelsea about her next steps - he wants to invest in her perfume business to enable her to become self- sufficient. "I'll take that as a yes," Paul declares after Chelsea springs out of her chair to hug him!

The Waterhole (exterior)
Rhett and Aaron run into each other again and given they aren't sweaty this time, share a warm hug! Taking the bull with the horns, Aaron invites Rhett to a date which is readily accepted. After thinking about their chat yesterday, Rhett admits to moving on from Aaron (to Patrick) too quickly, but is now ready to move on again.

Number 22
As Nell and Terese start to put back their belongings in the house, they hear Krista and Leo give them their full support over the move back. Neither agree with what Paul has done but Leo does add they know Paul does love her… something Terese needs to keep reminding herself of!

Nell is looking on the plus side - being back in Ramsay Street… which also means that JJ is very near by and of course seconds later the lad enters the house to offer his unpacking services. The ladies are okay with doing things themselves and instead ask how brekkie went. JJ tries to mumble it out that Chelsea was with them for brekkie too. Terese accepts that news with no issues, however she has the feeling that he's missed something else out and the lad is then forced to say Paul was there too. "What did Paul say?" Terese asks and JJ spills about Paul investing in Chelsea's perfume business… and the grateful hug that followed!

LEO: It can't be that bad right? Just helping her get back on her feet.

Terese though thinks otherwise!

TERESE: I don't want to feel this way! I'm not going to feel this way!

Lassiters Complex
Cara is thrilled to hear from Aaron that he's "back in the game" and that he's got a date lined up with Rhett following their meeting yesterday.

Meanwhile, as they have coffee outside Harolds, Taye is grateful for the advice Max gave him. Max accepts the thanks and he's pleased to see Taye less stressed too. In turn, Taye can report too, after spotting a happy Richard and Monica walk together at the other side of the complex, that yes, the clients are doing fine.

Penthouse suite
Terese's arrival has saved Paul a phonecall to tell her about what he's doing for Chelsea but of course she already knows and about the "big hug" too, which Paul is trying to downplay. Terese then gets to the point of her visit - because of what she heard second hand, she is "once again imagining scenarios" in her head. Paul wants a chance to explain, but she stops him.

TERESE: You know, I thought it was enough, me moving back to Ramsay Street. I thought I would be on stable ground. Let it play out, this obligation you have towards Thomas.
PAUL: It's not an obligation. I want to help.
TERESE: Yeah, and that's exactly the problem… you want to help! It's a choice you're making.

Paul asks that she gives it "a little time" but while she thought she could, Terese replies back that she can't and is now giving him a choice.

TERESE: You cut them out of your life completely, and if you don't, then we are through.
