Number 32 (garden)
Holly is in a quandary over whether they go back and apologise to Sadie or not, as she doesn't want Sadie to think they don't care about her. Taye wants to leave her alone while Max is shell- shocked after seeing the wounds on her back.

Byron pays then a visit and dishes up a serve for them gatecrashing. They all plead their arrival was accidental, but he isn't accepting that, warning them that they've "no idea the damage you have done."

Harolds café
Andrew has ordered his wife a piece of cake to help cheer her up but she is very despondent about being unable to get any teaching work… but moments later, Jane arrives to see if she free to work at EHS tomorrow! There is a caveat too - the teacher she will be covering is off for a job interview and if said teacher gets the job, that will leave a vacancy at EHS!

Number 30
Remi and Dex are playing video games when Cara comes home and he's sent to his room to let the parents talk (although he just hangs in the corridor so can overhear everything!). Cara is unamused at Remi changing her medical declaration and re- sending it in. Remi justifies what she did by not wanting to break her code of ethics but equally she is concerned about Cara not being fit for the job. Cara thinks Remi has sabotaged her chances of getting into the police, which Remi doesn't think so, and can see Cara isn't in the mood to talk sensibly so walks away.

Number 26
Byron is tyring his best to lift Sadie's spirits but she is barely taking him on when a very nervous Holly arrives at #26 to apologise for gatecrashing earlier. She also offers Sadie a chance to 'get even' but the mood Sadie is in, over people not listening to her, means she storms away after giving Holly a serve.

Lassiters Complex
Andrew is surprised that Wendy isn't jumping for joy at getting the cover at EHS, but she is fearful that the kids will make fun of her there too. "Forget what happened at the other schools," Andrew tries to say to her, this is a "new place, new students" and she will "smash this." The words seem to perk Wendy up but she wants to walk home alone to help "psych" herself up.

Sandra runs into Andrew to thank him for his lifesaving self- defence classes, and she can't wait for tomorrow's one. He is a bit bemused by the croissant she hands over as a thanks to him though!

The Waterhole
Holly moans to Nicolette that why she gets Byron is peeved, she does question why Sadie is pushing her away too. Nicolette's reply is that perhaps Sadie thinks nobody else can relate to what she is going through?

Meanwhile, Taye reveals to Max that he is under pressure due to being skint - Fallon is after her $10k back and he owes Max money too for the bond. While Max tells him to forgot, for now, the bond he's on his own for the $10k as his friend is unable to help him with that amount of money.

Number 30
As they finish up doing the dishes, Dex is trying to act as peace keeper by talking to Cara, reminding her that she forgave him after doing her Uni assignment, so why can't she forgive Remi for what she did too? Cara's stance is that while he wanted her to pass, Remi wants her to fail because she is against her joining the police. Dex points out that she is rushing things too, given within a week she quit her job and applied to join the police.

Erinsborough High School (next day)
Jane runs by the work the class teacher has left behind to Wendy as they walk towards the classroom she will be using. Some of the kids overhear they are getting a substitute teacher and want to run riot but Dex warns them not to, because the substitute teacher is JJ's auntie.

Harolds café
Sadie is still very down as she and Byron have breakfast with Leo and Krista. When Kirsta is at the counter settling their bill, the newly arrived Taye asks if she's spoken to Fallon lately. That would be a no, as they are still giving each other space but does mention she's paid back some of the money owed. The penny eventually drops for Taye - Fallon borrowed the money from Krista originally and realises why he's under pressure to pay it back to Fallon.

Number 30
Nicolette is helping Cara prepare for her interview for the police and becomes the awkward 'third wheel' when Remi enters the living room and she can feel the tension between Cara/Remi.

Erinsborough High School
Wendy sets the class working but they are definitely not as enthusiastic as she is and the kids go to play up until Dex issues a warning not to! Jane stops by to see how it's going and Wendy is loving it as the class are well behaved, not knowing that actually that is only because Dex has issued warnings to his classmates!

Lassiters park
As Andrew leads another self- defence class, Holly spots that Sandra still has a label on her top and has a quiet word with her about it. Sandra, with the huge crush on Andrew, volunteers to be his assistant to demonstrate a move he wants everyone to work on. Andrew though hasn't picked up that Sandra has a crush on him, Max is the one to mention it when they pair up to work on that demonstrated move!

Erinsborough High School
The peace Wendy has in her classroom is shattered when she catches one of the pupils (Ryan) passing a note to another - the note is about 'Death Knell' because she is a killer! Dex is not amused and the boys square up to each other but Wendy is quickly in to stop things from escalating and sends Ryan off to Jane's office.

Lassiters park
Holly and Max turn down Andrew's call for assistance in tidying up as they want to see Sadie, Holly has an idea to help her feel better, instead it's Sandra and another who help Andrew. Andrew decides to say something to Sandra about her crush but unfortunately it comes out instead as a garbled message and it actually indicates that he is interested in her! Seeing that he is keen on her, she suggests they do coffee after tidying up so Andrew is finally force to say he is married and she's got the wrong idea! Realising she has got it wrong, Sandra asks if he has a hole she can crawl into and funny enough, doesn't hang around to tidy up!

Erinsborough High School
Wendy is on a high after her stint today, with Jane happy how she handled things too. However, she then has to break the news to Wendy that the role is unlikely to be advertised as the teacher won't be leaving now, but Jane does reassure Wendy though that another school will be eager to employ her very soon.

Number 30
Taye tries to tap his sister for money to pay back Fallon but it's a no from her. He then swaps places with Cara who is back from her interview. We hear its gone well and because of what Remi did, this has actually gone in her favour as it shows evidence of her integrity. Despite this, Remi still isn't happy and is refusing to discuss things with Cara. Things escalate though, when during their exchange of words, Remi mis- interprets Cara moaning about changing the form as being done "out of spite."

Number 26
Holly's idea is for the gate crashers to reveal one of their private insecurities to Sadie as their payback. Max goes first and his admission is he is scared people see him as a hand- out kid, what with his dad buying the garage for him so he could be the mechanic he always wanted to be, thus making him question if he is "ever capable of achieving anything on my own." Holly's admission is that she is insecure about her whole personality, worried that she is like her mum, that there is "something broken inside me and that I'll always make bad choices like she does." Taye's insecurity is about his pecs, he wishes they were bigger! Holly and Max are aghast at what he reveals because it isn't serious like theirs was but it does get a laugh out of Sadie!

SADIE: Thank you. You're all very brave.

And yes, that includes Taye and Holly's idea does seem to have worked as Sadie's now much brighter.

The Waterhole
Wendy is getting a giggle out of Andrew not realising that Sandra had a crush on him, very much appreciative that someone else "appreciates how much of a hunk my man is!" Andrew asks how her day went and she reveals it was good even though the job opportunity has gone away, but does have faith the universe will send something else her way. Barely seconds after Wendy has said that, her phone pings to inform her she's been offered a job… but in Murrayville!
