- Clint says all this is happening because people think he's stealing from the school.
- Sadie is rescued.
- Byron lashes out at Max for putting Sadie in danger.
- Max is kidnapped.
- Terese tells Vera that Susan is extending her time overseas.
- Roxy tries to access Susan's account on her work computer.
Eirini Rising
Roxy uses Susan's password "Bigbluebox94" to log into Susan's computer. She opens a folder on Eirini Rising and finds a draft resignation letter. She prints it out.
Terese arrives boasting about how the games group is a hit. Roxy discretely places the printout in her bag, while she chats about how good it is to have a work printer and that you can get a recipe for fly spray at home.
Harold's Cafe (Exterior)
Clint and Jane are holding hands at a table outside Harold's, they discuss him being watched carefully at work, and her being suspended from her work. Nicolette brings them their coffees and wonders why its taking so long to resolve the case against Jane. Aaron arrives and is surprised that its dress up day tomorrow at Isla's school, but Nicolette has it in hand, Isla's going as Bilby. They go back to talking about Jane, Clint thinks Jane is distracting herself by worrying about him. Jane doesn't want to sit around worrying about the end of her career. If she is fired from Erinsborough High, then no one will want a principal with that sort of record. Nicolette hugs her to send her positive vibes.
Number 32
Byron and Holly bring Sadie home. She's clearly still shaken from her experience. Byron says he'll clean up the mess but he wants Sadie to rest on the couch. Holly tells them that she got a text from Max, he didn't say where he is but he says he's okay. Byron hopes he's away permanently, as he's still angry that those thugs followed Max here. They start arguing about Max, Sadie clearly is uncomfortable hearing them talk about it.
Number 22
Terese is surprised that Roxy hasn't been drinking coffee with cola since she's been back. Roxy says she's a responsible mum now, she just has three sugars. Terese hopes Nell doesn't follow suit and become a caffeine addict. Terese comments on how Roxy has turned out to be an impressive young lady, and thinks she'll be a wonderful role model for Jhett too. Kyle apparently says its like having two kids sometimes. Roxy notes that she misses them but its good for Jhett to spend time with his dad, so if Susan wants to stay away for longer then she can make it work.
Roxy wonders why Vera is so salty with Susan. Terese puts it down to Vera's natural delightful saltiness. Roxy asks if Susan's been checked out, she said most people Susan's age will be quitting their jobs and drinking wine in the afternoon. Terese says that when Susan retired from teaching, she hated sitting around so much that Terese made her work at Eirini to save her sanity. Terese is glad she encouraged her as she wouldn't have got this far without Susan. As Terese gets ready, Roxy looks thoughtful.
Harold's Cafe (Exterior)
Clint doesn't want to be a stain on Jane's record, and tells her that if the relationship ever stops working for her, then she should put herself first. Jane thanks him for being kind, and its why he is worth it. She wants to support him like he supports her. It's keeping her going to think of all the things they'll get to do together once this is all over.
Number 32
Holly suggests they put on a movie. She gets a text message, Byron angrily questions if its from Max and they start arguing again. Sadie yells at them to shut up, she has bigger things to worry about. Byron asks if she's okay. Sadie says just because the doctors didn't find any marks on her doesn't mean nothing bad happened. Sadie says she was out of it and he could have done anything, and now she's just to sit there and imagine. So she's sorry if she's not interested in who wants to talk to Max.
Lassiters Complex
Jane tells Aaron and Nicolette that she's had a message from Lana that she wants to meet her at the school later so she can present her findings. Aaron hopes that tomorrow this will all be behind her, and Nicolette assures her she'll be great. Nicolette says it would be easier if they knew who had stolen the cleaning supplies. Nicolette thinks they still have some time to try and work it out, and wonders if there's any other angle they haven't considered. She's nearly finished her shift.
Number 32
Holly and Byron sit with Sadie, and assure her they're not going to be fighting, they're just going to be there for her. Sadie says she didn't get much sleep last night, she panicked at every hospital noise and she couldn't relax. She expects any second something bad will happen. Sadie thinks she might have been too sheltered as the cops daughter, she didn't think anything bad would ever happen, she feels naïve and stupid. Byron tells her not to worry about anything, she's got them with her.
Ramsay Street
Jane asks Byron how Sadie is, he says she feels violated after what happened. Jane feels guilty for being caught up in her own problems, she should have come over last night with a hot meal. Jane tells Byron about the meeting later. Byron gives advice on what she should say to the department. Jane tells Byron he's laid it out perfectly and she should write that down. Byron suggests he come to the meeting with her, as Holly can stay with Sadie, and he wouldn't mind feeling useful.
Number 24
Jane tells Nicolette that she was looking at the local market place and there are three sellers with the same products as the ones stolen from the school. Nicolette suggests they should buy the products so they can find out who it is that is selling them. Jane says they should give the addresses to the police, but Nicolette thinks that way nothing would be sorted before the meeting. She asks if Jane fancies a road trip.
Eirini Rising
Roxy argues with Kyle on the phone. She's suggesting they move as it will be a great opportunity, but he calls her irrational. She says they should talk later, and tells him to call her when Jhett wakes up.
Terese arrives and sees Roxy is upset. Roxy says that she and Kyle were just having a dumb conversation. Terese is surprised she isn't video calling Jhett more often, but Roxy says he just gets confused when he sees her on the screen, and things haven't been great with Kyle recently, but its nothing major. Terese tells Roxy that if she wants to go home for a few days, then she has plenty of frequent flier points from visiting Imogen. Roxy says maybe, she'll think about it.
Street
Nicolette and Jane arrive outside the address, they're early but Nicolette thinks they should wait there, who knows what they might see. The last two addresses had tax invoices so they think this must be the dodgy one. Nicolette encourages Jane to do the meeting for this one, since she did the last two. Jane is worried that they might know her since the goods were taken from the school and Eirini. Nicolette brings out a hat and sunglasses for Jane to wear as a disguise. They both put sunglasses on, Jane jokes about having a taser with her, getting into character. Nicolette's phone goes off, Jane tells her off for having the sound on when they're meant to be undercover. She asks who Nicolette is replying to, but Nicolette tells her to mind her own business, they have a criminal to catch.
Number 32
Holly has baked cookies for Sadie, and has tidied up the flat. She's now taking Trevor on a walk. Byron thanks her as she leaves. Byron asks Sadie if he can go to support his mum at the meeting this afternoon, Sadie encourages him to go.
SADIE: Jane deserves a fair hearing. And this world, it can be cruel and messed up. You can make it better.
Street
Nicolette suggests they start looking through the windows. They see an old lady leaving and going to the garage, but neither of them recognise her, though Jane recognises some of the stuff in the garage though. Nicolette rushes out the car and waves over to the woman, asking about the cleaning products she has and if anyone else has access to the garage. The lady, Connie, says she rents it out to a nice young man. As they question her, Clint appears behind them and tells Connie to leave it to him. He can explain.
The Waterhole (Exterior)
Roxy is sitting outside the Waterhole, as Aaron brings her a coffee and a cola. Aaron jokes that he is on standby for when she has a heart attack. Roxy asks Aaron how he managed to convince David to move to Erinsbroough when he wasn't keen on it. Aaron asks why she's asking about this. Roxy says they are happy in Darwin, its great for Jhett, and her family is just down the road, but it doesn't have that many opportunities. She says she is always thinking of Jhett, she just wants him to be somewhere where the sky is the limit. Aaron says if its the best thing for the family, then Kyle will see it that way. He says David realised that his thoughts about this place where getting in the way of what the family really needed, and he wasn't being fair to them. Roxy nods and says it makes sense. As Aaron leaves, Roxy sits back considering what he's said.
Street
Nicolette calls Clint out for pretending he's so saintly when he literally stole from them. Jane lets Clint tell his side.
CLINT: Thanks Jane. Kind and just as always.
JANE: Please don't. I feel stupid enough already.
Clint explains that his mother is very unwell and needs expensive care. Nicolette thinks its just a sob story. He insists its the truth but he he didn't want anyone feeling sorry for him, and that's why he got the second job. Jane thinks its sounds a little too perfect, like everything he ever said to her. Clint says he kept one secret, which he knows is a betrayal but it doesn't change everything. Jane says its too many lies and she defended him to everyone. Clint apologises and says that was the hardest part of all of this.
NICOLETTE: Whatever! Am I going to call the cops or are you?
CLINT: Please don't do that. Jane...
JANE: So you're happy for me to perjure myself to the police and to the school, are you?
CLINT: Austin said it best. There's nothing that I wouldn't do for those who are really my friends.
JANE: Shut up Clint!
(Jane picks up the phone)
JANE: I'd like to report a crime.
