The Piano Bar
Fallon angrily tells Taye that she thought they were friends. Taye insists they are.
TAYE: Look, you've needed someone to talk to. I've been listening. Now I need something from you.
FALLON: It's not exactly the same thing!
TAYE: Just see it as, like, a small loan. I will pay you back as soon as I can. I'm sorry - I know this is poor form. But I'm desperate.
FALLON: You'd really tell Krista everything I told you?
TAYE: I just can't let everyone down. Is it really that hard just to ask for an itty- bitty loan? Please, Fallon.
Fallon looks peeved.

Leo emerges from Krista's bedroom, the pair having seemingly enjoyed an exuberant make- up session, to make them both a cuppa. Krista comes out to join him and they smile at one another flirtatiously.
KRISTA: So we're good?
LEO: I think we put our issues to bed.
She puts her arms around him and strokes his chest.
KRISTA: Look, I know Seb is still a thing. And I'm sorry that I couldn't let you read his letter.
LEO: It's fine, okay? I get it.
KRISTA: Just know that I'll always put us first.
They start pashing pretty heavily!
Lassiter's Complex
Cara and Remi get a table outside the hotel; they're chatting about Sadie's recent abduction. Remi says she's been lucky, considering how a lot of drink- spiking incidents end up. Cara hopes the trouble will die down now that Max has gone.
Taye walks by and Remi invites him to join them for a coffee; but he somewhat tersely tells her that he's busy and keeps walking, seemingly still perturbed by the whole Bobby Favourite/Fallon saga.
CARA: Someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed.
REMI: I cannot get a handle on him. One minute, he's nothing but charm, and the next, he's prickly. Am I missing something here?
CARA: No, he's pretty hot and cold. Look, I just think it's gonna take a little while for you two to find your groove. You're still getting to know each other.

Terese and Roxy are at work, and Roxy continues to impress Terese with her general efficiency. Vera turns up to moan to Terese about the hydrotherapy class; it's been scheduled just after lunch.
VERA: I'm gonna throw up me quiche in the pool.
Vera notices Roxy with concern.
VERA: What are *you* doing here?
TERESE: Roxy's helping out while Susan's away.
VERA: Helping out? Her?!
ROXY: It's nice to see you too, Vera (!)
VERA: Oh, sorry, sunshine. I seem to remember you're a pro at flaming booze and mechanical bulls - neither of which feature here.
ROXY: It's not a bad way to be remembered, though.
VERA: Oh, there's no forgetting. You threw your top at me while riding said bull. So what's the story? Are you and Kyle planning a comeback with the bub?
TERESE: Uh, no - Roxy is working here for a couple of weeks because Susan has had to extend her time overseas.
VERA: Mm, nice for some.
TERESE: It's not a holiday, Vera.
VERA: She's supposed to be Eirini's manager, but I haven't seen her since I moved in here. Talk about absent.
Roxy is listening carefully all of a sudden. Terese explains Susan is still helping Karl with his rehab.
VERA: And squeezing in some sightseeing while she's at it, I'm sure.
Terese assures Vera she'll see what an asset Susan is on her return. Vera says she'll believe it when she sees it and stalks off, giving Roxy a dirty look as she goes. Terese and Roxy snigger, but Roxy is now looking thoughtful...

Fallon is lying in bed in the spare room when Krista comes in and sits on the bed for a chat. Krista says it feels like she and Leo are really back on track following the surprise she arranged for him.
FALLON: Does he still want to read Seb's letter?
KRISTA: No, he's accepted that it's private.
FALLON: What if Seb comes back?
KRISTA: I guess we'll cross that bridge if it comes.
Krista notices the dress that Fallon has been keeping in her wardrobe, and goes over to admire it, remarking on how pretty it is. Fallon retorts that it's 'nothing special'.
KRISTA: Hey, you know, if you ever wanted to borrow any of my clothes, you're more than welcome.
FALLON (offended): Are my clothes not good enough?
KRISTA: That's not what I meant, I just... you didn't bring a lot of stuff with you.
FALLON: Right, yeah. Sorry.
KRISTA: Hey, remember that time when you came to London, and I tried to dress you in all my clothes?
FALLON (smiling): Vaguely.
KRISTA: You were so young then, and nothing really fit you. I loved that - sisters playing dress- ups. We're probably about the same size now.
But Fallon's smile has faded.
FALLON: Krista... I need a loan.
KRISTA: Oh.
FALLON: I've got myself into some credit card debt, and... I'm trying to pay it down, but the interest is killing me.
KRISTA: How much?
FALLON: Ten grand... I hate asking you for money.
KRISTA: No. Say no more. I'll transfer you the money right away.
FALLON: Thank you.
KRISTA: Of course.
Krista squeezes Fallon's hand, but Fallon looks deeply uncomfortable.

Roxy is making Terese a cuppa when Vera comes into the office again, to moan about the hydrotherapy class again - apparently the new instructor doesn't talk loudly enough so no one can hear him over the sound of the jets.
VERA: Plus he's as boring as beans. At least no one's chundered yet.
TERESE: What would you like me to do about it, Vera?
VERA: Find a new instructor. Someone with a bit of oomph.
Terese explains that Susan did have a shortlist of candidates on her computer. Roxy is quick to jump in, saying she'd be happy to look it up if Terese could give her Susan's login details. Terese doesn't have them, but says she'll get in touch with Susan and ask for them.
ROXY (to Vera): Hopefully I can show you just how invested I am in residents' care.
Vera gives Roxy a big, fake smile which soon morphs into a grimace!
Lassiter's Lake
Taye is sitting in the rotunda looking worried. Fallon turns up.
FALLON: Got you the money.
TAYE: Thank you. Thank you so much. I'll text you my bank deets.
FALLON: It makes me so sick being in debt to Krista. But I guess you'd know that after everything I confided in you. I can't believe you'd use it against me! I thought you were my friend!
TAYE (guiltily): I... I am. And I promise I will make it up to you.
FALLON: Whatever. You're no different than any of the other two- faced people in my life.
Fallon walks off, leaving Taye looking upset.
The Waterhole
Roxy gives Leo an excited hug when they run into each other in the pub. He's heard about her helping Terese at Eirini, and asks how it's going. Roxy says it reminds her of the 'hustle and bustle' of when she and Leo worked in hospitality together - except with slightly older clientele.
ROXY: And how good is my timing? You know, being here for your wedding.
LEO: Yeah, well, of course - that's the real reason you came, isn't it?
Roxy is looking forward to meeting Krista - and sure enough at that moment, Krista comes in, with Aaron. She's wearing Fallon's dress!
ROXY (gasps): Leo sent me your socials - I swore you used filters, but you definitely don't!
Krista thanks Roxy for the compliment, and Leo introduces them. Aaron then fills Roxy in on how Sadie was drugged by the bad guys who were after Max - and how Max has gone into hiding, for everyone's safety. Roxy is worried for Max. Leo tells Krista he's going to have to rain check on dinner, as he needs to fill in for Byron at Yorokobi who is busy looking after Sadie. Krista says she'll come and help Leo so they can hang out.
ROXY: Aww, it's a shame that you have to wear such a beautiful dress at work.
LEO: Well, not really. I still get to look at you.
KRISTA: It's gorgeous, isn't it? I borrowed it from my sister.
Erinsborough Hospital
Remi is at work when Taye comes in, to apologise for being brusque with her earlier - explaining he had some work worries, but shouldn't have taken it out on her.
REMI: Taye, I really want a relationship with you, but you're not making it easy. I mean, you're hot, you're cold... sometimes you're giving me nothing. It's got to be a two- way street.
TAYE: I know. Everything you're saying is spot on.
REMI: If something's bothering you, you can talk to me. I'm here for you.
TAYE: I know that, and I'm grateful. Look, I guess I'm still just learning how to connect with you.
REMI: Yeah, that's understandable.
TAYE: But I want to. Hey, what do you say we catch up, after you finish work? I'm up for anything you feel like doing.
REMI: ... Anything?
Lassiter's Hotel
Quick cut to Remi and Taye in gowns and headbands at the day spa, where they've come for a pampering session!
TAYE: I mean, it's not what I was expecting - but I can think of worse ways to spend an afternoon!
REMI: (...) Sometimes, you've just got to take care of your own needs. Cos I learned that the hard way growing up.
They head over to a pair of reclining chairs with some herbal tea.
TAYE: How do you mean?
REMI: The pressure my parents put on me to stay close to the family nest. That just made it hard to know what I wanted from life. Was it the same for you?
TAYE: If it was up to them, I would never leave Apollo Bay (...) How did you find out what you needed?
REMI: By doing what you are now - getting away. My parents are good people. But distance from them was just the only way I could start to think for myself.
TAYE: So true. You get it.
REMI: I get it.
Yorokobi
Krista is waitressing in the bar to help Leo out, but she collides with another staff member and ends up with a load of smashed drinks, and red wine all down Fallon's dress! It's just in time for Fallon to arrive and look furious.
FALLON: Is that my dress? Take it off!!
KRISTA: I'm sorry. I'll...
FALLON (shouting): Take it off now, I don't care!
Lassiter's Hotel
In the day spa, Remi and Taye are lying down on the reclining chairs with slices of cucumber over their eyes. The staff member on duty has quietly let Cara into the room, who is sniggering to herself. Putting on a different voice to make them think she's the beauty therapist, she says...
CARA: The next stage of your treatment involves removing your eyebrows, so that I can exfoliate the skin underneath.
REMI: What? Wait, that's not in the brochure!
TAYE: Is that actually a thing?
CARA: Oh, yes, it's very popular at the moment. Now if you'll just lie back, Ms Varga- Murphy, so that I can apply the wax...
Cara jerks Remi's chair suddenly and she yelps! Cara then bursts out laughing, and Remi and Taye realise what's going on. Remi scowls at Cara, with one of the bits of cucumber now stuck to her cheek.
REMI: You think you're so funny.
Taye is laughing too. Cara explains that she asked the therapist to extend her break and let her into the room instead so she could have a bit of fun.
CARA: And boy, did I.
REMI: I will get you back!
Yorokobi
Krista is profusely apologising to Fallon for borrowing and ruining her dress.
FALLON: You shouldn't have taken it.
KRISTA: I know. I just... I felt like the conversation that we had earlier, that just... I'm sorry. I didn't think it would be a big deal.
But Fallon stalks off. Krista explains to Leo that Fallon told her the dress was nothing special, and that they were reminiscing about playing dress- up, and...
KRISTA: Oh, maybe I was the one that was reminiscing.
LEO: Hey, don't worry. I'll go and talk to her, okay?
Outside, Leo sits down with Fallon and gently suggests that her reaction must be about more than just the dress.
FALLON: The guy I was seeing in Mykonos... the one I kind of told Byron about on Valentine's Day... I thought he was the one. I even proposed to him. I know it doesn't look like your usual wedding dress, but... to me, it was... perfect, and simple. But then he just disappeared, and our relationship was suddenly over. I don't know why I held onto it.
LEO: Because you didn't want to let go of the dream. I get it. I'm sorry you had to relive that heartbreak... I'm also starting to realise that it must be pretty hard helping us with our wedding.
FALLON: Yeah, it is. But I'm getting over it.
LEO: Well, whoever this guy is, I can say for sure he doesn't deserve you.
FALLON (smiling): You don't have to say that.
LEO: No, I mean it. You know, from what I've seen of you, you're pretty incredible. Any guy is lucky to have you.
FALLON: You should get back to Krista. I'll be okay.
But instead, Leo leans in to give Fallon a hug, which she gratefully accepts...

Terese and Roxy are talking about the roofying saga; Roxy has texted Max to find out if he's okay, but has had no answer. She's now wondering whether or not she should let Max's dad, her mum's cousin Shane, know what's happened; Max, she says, was adamant about not stressing him out.
TERESE: Maybe you should run it by Paul. But for what it's worth, if I was Shane, I'd want to know.
Susan then phones; she's returning Terese's call to pass on her login details. Terese writes down Susan's password, cackling as it's apparently an amusing one, then sticks it on the inside of her handbag on a post- it note. Roxy is watching carefully. Terese finishes the call.
Roxy offers to take the login details to look up the other hydrotherapy instructors, but Terese tells her there's no need; she found the shortlist on the shared drive, and only took Susan's password in case it transpires they need anything else while she's gone. Her back to Terese, Roxy has her plotting face on...
Yorokobi
Krista has changed out of the dress into an old sweatshirt, and comes into the bar to talk to Fallon. Leo has told her about Fallon's fiancé in Mykonos.
KRISTA: I'm sorry, Fallon. I never would have borrowed your dress if I'd known the significance.
FALLON (strained): It's okay.
KRISTA: I guessed that you were dealing with a broken heart, but I never knew you almost married the guy.
FALLON: I couldn't tell you.
KRISTA: Yeah. Well, I'll always be here, if you do want to talk.
Krista heads outside, and Leo comes in to check on Fallon. She confirms she's feeling better now, but gazes at Leo wistfully as he walks away...
The Piano Bar
Taye has asked Fallon to come in for a chat, and is relieved when she shows up.
FALLON (smiling): Lucky for you, I don't have any other friends.
TAYE: Look, I know I've got a lot of making up to do. But I just wanted you to know that you can still talk to me.
He pours her a glass of wine.
FALLON: I do resent Krista. She's always had it so easy. I mean, men fall at her feet, and she leaves a trail of destruction everywhere she goes.
TAYE: You don't reckon she's changed?
FALLON: Everyone thinks she has. I dunno.
TAYE: Don't get upset, but, the whole Leo factor... if you have feelings for him, it's going to get messy.
Fallon sips her wine silently.

Roxy tells Terese that she promised Moira she'd check in on the games group that she set up but is bogged down finishing a catering order. She asks Terese if she could pop by the games group instead, to check it's going smoothly. Terese agrees, and heads off to the library where it's taking place.
The moment she's gone, Roxy makes a beeline for Terese's handbag, and takes out the post- it note with Susan's password ('Bigbluebox94'!) Roxy begins logging into Susan's account, but Vera has appeared at the office door and is watching Roxy suspiciously. She gives her a shock when she appears behind her.
VERA: What are you up to? Where's Terese?
ROXY: She's busy. Is there something that I can help you with?
VERA: No, just wanted to thank her for changing the menu. I haven't been this regular in years.
ROXY: I'll pass on that message.
But Vera is still staring at Roxy suspiciously.
ROXY: Is there something else?
VERA: I know you're up to something.
ROXY (laughs): Yeah. It's called work.
Vera begins to leave, but makes a hand gesture to indicate that she'll be watching Roxy very closely. As soon as she's gone, Roxy gets back to the laptop and finishes typing in Susan's password...
