Leo asks Fallon when the kiss happened. Fallon says she should probably let Krista explain, but Leo is impatient for the details.

LEO: You need to tell me everything you know.
FALLON: I think it was the day Seb left.
LEO (annoyed): You know, I knew something went down that day... but I could never have imagined that.
FALLON: I guess the bigger question is, why hasn't she told you? And why has a letter from Seb caused so much trouble?
LEO: What? A letter?
FALLON: He sent her one from Sydney.
LEO: Saying what?
FALLON: I don't know. But it upset her. It all seems really unresolved for her.

Now even more annoyed, Leo prepares to leave to confront Krista.

FALLON: Wait, what are you gonna say? She'll know I told you.
LEO: Don't worry about it. You've done the right thing. Thank you.

Harold's Café
Nicolette is working when Maddy, Cara's cousin, comes in. This flusters Nicolette, and asks if Maddy is here to talk about Chelsea. But Maddy says there's nothing new on that front.

MADDY: I just wanted to order a steaming hot cup of, umm... you.
NICOLETTE: Excuse me?
MADDY: Okay, look - I didn't appreciate all the subterfuge the other day. But I did really like you... in my bed.
NICOLETTE (sceptical): ... I'm sorry, are you seriously not gonna hold the fact that I had ulterior motives against me?
MADDY (laughs): I mean, I could, but... I haven't had this much fun in a while, and... I want more.
NICOLETTE: Okay. Wow. Umm... Yeah... Can I... just think about it?
MADDY: Thinking gives you wrinkles. But yeah, sure. Knock yourself out. Just don't take too long.

Maddy gives Nicolette a flirtatious glance, and leaves. Nicolette looks rather pleased!

No 30
Remi and Cara are impressed with Taye's repairs to Cara's favourite chair following the damage from the party. To butter them up even further, he's bought ingredients for a seafood feast for dinner.

REMI: Oh, you are deep in the suck- up mode.
TAYE: Is it working?
REMI: ... I might help you light the barbecue.
TAYE: I'll take that as a yes.

As Remi and Taye head outside, there's a knock at the front door and Cara goes to answer it.

NICOLETTE (loudly): Hi!
CARA (furtive): Shhh!
NICOLETTE (whispering): Hi. So, Maddy just came into Harold's.
CARA: Did she say anything about Chelsea?
NICOLETTE: Well, that wasn't the reason that she came. She wanted to ask me out.
CARA: You didn't say yes, did you?!
NICOLETTE: Would that be such a bad idea?
CARA: Remi cannot see you with Maddy. It'll raise too many questions.
NICOLETTE: What? She's hot, though! And very fun! And knows her way around my body.
CARA: No, thank you - I don't need to hear it!
NICOLETTE: What if we're discreet?
CARA: Nicolette, it's too risky.
NICOLETTE (grudging): Fine! You win. I'll just... let her down. Great.

Remi then comes back in, and is concerned to see Nicolette there - but forces a smile. She asks why Nic's here, and she covers, pretending she's come to see Taye about 'Lassiter's stuff'.

CARA: He's out by the barbecue.
NICOLETTE (snarky): Really? Great!

Nic goes off to find Taye, leaving Cara looking guilty and Remi still a little suspicious...

Jane is lying on the couch talking to Clint on the phone; she tells him she's missing him like crazy.

CLINT: It's only been a few hours.
JANE: Yeah. I'm being ridiculous, aren't I - like a giddy teenager.
CLINT: We could always book a hotel room.
JANE: No... if I were to leave the house tonight, there'd be too many questions.
CLINT: Hmm. Well in that case, we don't have to be in the same room to enjoy each other's company, if you catch my drift.
JANE: I don't know that... that's exactly my style.

But at this point, Nicolette comes in, and Jane hurriedly tells Clint she'll call him back. Jane insists to Nic that it's 'no one' on the phone, but Nic is unconvinced and concludes Jane must be 'back on the apps'.

NICOLETTE (shouting into the phone): Excuse me, mister, I hope you're treating my mother with dignity and respect!

Jane goes to continue her conversation in her bedroom, as Nicolette laughs to herself.

NICOLETTE: Wow, going to the bedroom for the climax!

Nic then looks worried, presumably as she considers that might be exactly what Jane's doing!

702 Eclipse Apartments
Krista is in the kitchen when Leo turns up, and demands to know when Krista was going to tell him about kissing Seb. Krista realises Fallon must have told Leo, but Leo tells her not to blame Fallon as she thought Leo already knew.

KRISTA: Okay, please just let me explain. For starts, Seb kissed me and I pushed him away.
LEO: And his declaration of love for you?
KRISTA: I told him that I don't feel the same way. I love *you*! I was gonna tell you all of this when it happened, but you said that you didn't need to know.
LEO: That's your excuse?!
KRISTA: No, okay - yes, it suited me not to say anything, I won't deny that.
LEO: And why did it suit you? Fallon mentioned a letter?
KRISTA: ... Look, Seb said some things to me that were a bit confronting. Look, I want to talk to you, okay, but not like this. Not when you're upset.
LEO (shouting): How am I supposed to feel?!
KRISTA: Yeah. I love you, okay, and I want to work through this. But can we just talk when you've had a chance to calm down, please?

Without another word, Leo storms out. Krista is tearful.

Eirini Rising
As she leaves the building for the night, Terese is on the phone to Susan, talking about her plan to use CCTV to catch the floor cleaner thief in the act. Terese asks how Karl is doing; we can't hear Susan's side of the conversation, but it sounds from Terese's responses like his recovery is proving slow. At this point, Terese sees Jasmine coming out of the building, so tells Susan she'll call her back.

Terese asks Jasmine what she's doing here at this time of night. Jasmine, who is still wearing her school uniform and backpack, claims she had an 'after- school thing'.

TERESE: This isn't a thoroughfare, you know that.
JASMINE: Yep, sorry.
TERESE: Okay. Off you go.

Jasmine hurries off, but Terese looks suspicious.

702 Eclipse Apartments
Fallon comes home to find Krista curled up in bed, crying. She climbs onto the bed and gets under the covers with Krista so they can talk.

FALLON: I'm sorry. I honestly thought he knew.
KRISTA: It's not your fault. It's mine (...)
FALLON: Are you gonna tell him you've got feelings for Seb?
KRISTA (puzzled): What? No.
FALLON: But you said you needed to have a bigger conversation.
KRISTA: Is that what you think? That's not it. I don't think of Seb that way. But there are some things that we have to talk through.
FALLON: Are you questioning the wedding?
KRISTA: No. I love Leo. And I don't want to lose him.

Krista starts crying again. Fallon looks inscrutable.

Erinsborough High School
Clint is cleaning in an otherwise empty corridor when Jane comes in. She cheekily pours some of a takeaway coffee onto the floor.

JANE: How clumsy of me. If only I had someone who could help me clean this up!
CLINT: Oh, yes, my lady - I believe I can be of assistance.
JANE: Why thank you, kind sir. And thank you for last night's phone call.
CLINT: Mm. Got quite fun once we retired to the bedroom.

We see their conversation from the perspective of inside the classroom, possibly as if someone is watching them from within, unnoticed by Jane and Clint.

JANE: Although I was disappointed that you didn't finish reading that chapter of Lady Chatterley's Lover.
CLINT: Hmm. Oliver will just have to come out and play on another occasion.

They kiss. Jane says she thinks they can risk it as they're the only two in the school this morning - but we are viewing the interaction via ClassroomCam™ again, implying she may be wrong. Jane slaps Clint's bum and playfully tells him to get back to work!

CLINT: Yes, my lady.

Harold's Café
Maddy comes in to find Nicolette again, surprised and disappointed that Nicolette has messaged her to turn down her offer of more hookups. Nicolette apologises, but says it's best if they don't see each other anymore. Maddy gets flirty again, keen to change Nic's mind.

NICOLETTE: I would love to - like, really, I would. It's just, Cara thinks that it's too risky for us to be seen together.
MADDY: What? Why would it be risky?

At which point Remi comes in, and immediately spots Maddy, before rushing over to give her a delighted hug. She asks what Maddy's doing in Erinsborough.

MADDY: Oh, I just came to see Nicolette.
REMI: What, you two know each other?!
NICOLETTE (covering): That is a funny story! Actually, we met last night, didn't we?
MADDY (confused): ... Yeah!
NICOLETTE: We were at my favourite queer bar, and then I started talking to her, and I found out that she was Cara's cousin. And I was like, that is *such* a coincidence - I was literally just at her house!
REMI (teasing): And then you went home together...?
MADDY: Oh, actually, that -
NICOLETTE (interrupting): No, no - we're just friends. But, you know, I enjoyed hanging out so much, I wanted to hang out again. Didn't I, buddy?

Still confused, Maddy takes Nicolette's lead and agrees with what she's saying. Remi decides to call Cara so she can join them and they can all catch up properly!

MADDY: No - no, don't bother her.
REMI: Are you kidding? She'd love to see you! (on the phone) Babe, you'll never believe who I've just run into...

Maddy awkwardly feigns excitement while Nicolette looks peeved behind Remi's back.

Eirini Rising
In the courtyard, Terese is with Elenora Santoro, the Italian resident who Jasmine became friends with. Terese promises Elenora that she'll tell Vera to stop stealing the vegetables from the community garden! Elenora thanks her.

As Elenora walks off, Jane and Clint turn up, having been summoned by Terese. Leading them indoors, she explains that there's been another theft of cleaning products, and this time they didn't even make it as far as the storeroom - it got swiped from reception immediately after a delivery. But at least, with not too many people who would have known about the delivery, they can narrow down their list of suspects.

CLINT: Hmm, I dunno. Opportunists tend to always find a way, no matter what.

Terese doesn't know what more she can do, especially with the news that Susan will be away for a little longer with Karl still in rehab.

JANE: Is there anyone else you could bring in to help?
TERESE: Uh... yeah. I'll give them a call.

Harold's Café
Remi is still excited to have bumped into Maddy. Cara has now joined them and Nicolette, and is looking very worried indeed. Cara is trying to play down the unlikelihood of Nic and Maddy having ended up in the same queer bar.

NICOLETTE: The lesbians do tend to congregate.
REMI: Still, though, you live so far away, Maddy. I thought you said you didn't get into the city much?
MADDY: Uh, well, it was a special occasion. It was a friend's housewarming, so...
REMI: At a queer bar? Shouldn't it have been at their house?
MADDY: Oh - well, you'd think...

Cara cringes as Maddy tries to dig herself out of a hole by saying that her housewarming friend is somewhat of a loose cannon! Nicolette laughs.

CARA: Anyway, Mads, you should probably get on the road.
MADDY: Yeah.
REMI: Umm, hello? You haven't seen your cousin in ages, and you haven't even asked her one question about herself. How is midwifery going?
MADDY: Oh, yeah, umm... aside from being overworked and underpaid, it's good! Babies are still getting born, so...
REMI (to Nicolette): Cara and Maddy are the ones who got actual jobs in the family - unlike Chelsea.
MADDY: Well, I think she has a full time job now that she's -

Nicolette nudges Maddy under the table, while Cara loudly interrupts.

CARA: Hey, you know what? Maybe we just don't mention Chelsea, for the sake of Remi's stress levels.
REMI: True. Why bring her up if we don't have to?

Maddy, Cara and Nicolette chuckle nervously.

Yorokobi
Leo is still in a bad mood when Krista comes to find him. She wants to know why he's ignoring her calls.

LEO: I'm afraid of what else you might tell me.
KRISTA: I told you that I love you, and I meant that.
LEO: Right. But somehow Sebastian seems to keep messing with our relationship.
KRISTA: Okay - when I rejected him, he hit me with a few grenades. And yeah, that was mostly just him lashing out. But one thing he said really struck a nerve... It's about you feeling the need to make decisions on my behalf.
LEO: If this is about me asking Nicolette to fire him... I did that to protect you.
KRISTA: Yeah, I know. But I don't want that to be a pattern in our relationship.
LEO: Is there a pattern?
KRISTA: Look, maybe you question my judgement because my addictions are never far from your mind. But I need you to trust me.
LEO: ... What else did he say in his letter?
KRISTA: That's not important, okay? Just know that he's getting the help that he needs.
LEO: Well, can I read it?
KRISTA: ... No. It's a part of the 12 steps - he's making amends, and it's personal.
LEO: But it involves me!
KRISTA: Okay, this is an example of a moment where I need you to trust me. Can you do that?

Leo looks conflicted.

Harold's Café
Nicolette and Cara are talking in the kitchen.

NICOLETTE: Well, I think that could've gone a lot worse.
CARA: It almost did.
NICOLETTE: Have you thought that maybe it's time to come clean to Remi?
CARA: Oh, yes - almost a million times.
NICOLETTE: It's just that if you looked any more stressed, your head would explode.
CARA: I can't tell Remi that I've been lying to her for weeks. Things have been going on way too long for me to come clean now.

Nicolette passes Cara a jar of pickles to open for her!

NICOLETTE: Look, all we can do is find Chelsea (...) What about the jewellery that Chelsea sent, huh? Could we get any leads from that?
CARA: No, I already told you - it was hand- delivered. There's nothing to trace from the note.
NICOLETTE: So we've hit a dead end.
CARA: At this point, it seems like it.

Meanwhile, at a table, Fallon is updating Taye on the Leo/Krista situation. She claims she had to tell Leo about the kiss between Krista and Seb, as it 'seemed like Krista wasn't gonna say anything'.

FALLON: She says she doesn't have feelings for Seb.
TAYE: So you got that part wrong.
FALLON: Yeah. No - I mean... I don't know. Look, for two people about to get married, they're still having serious issues.

Yorokobi
Krista is wandering around the vineyard in slow motion, while Leo stands by the pond at the bottom of the hill. Eventually we see her approach him, and ask him what he's thinking.

LEO: I believe you about the kiss. That it was one- sided.
KRISTA: It was.
LEO: I shouldn't make decisions for you, alright? I get that, but... look, it worries me how long it took you to talk to me about this. Were you ever gonna tell me?
KRISTA: Yes. I was. Look, I'm sorry.
LEO: You spoke about patterns. Maybe the real pattern is we just keep lying to each other.
KRISTA: Yeah...
LEO: Are we rushing into something we're not ready for?
KRISTA: What? No! I won't accept that. I love you, Leo. Do you love me?
LEO: You know I do.
KRISTA: Then that is all that matters. Can we just focus on moving forward from this? Please?

Leo looks conflicted as Krista strokes his face pleadingly.

Erinsborough High School
Jane is with Clint in the corridor, when Terese turns up and asks to speak to Jane. Clint leaves them to chat, and Jane asks if Terese had luck finding someone to help her at Eirini.

TERESE: I did, actually. They're arriving tomorrow. Listen, I've been thinking about Clint. Umm... do you think there's any chance that he could be the thief?
JANE: No. No, I don't.
TERESE: Really? Cos he does have access to the supplies. And he did know when the delivery was coming. I might just ask him for an alibi for last night.
JANE: Oh, no - no, don't be doing that. I mean, it... really, it can't be him. He was literally just telling me how he can't wait for the cameras to be installed. It's hardly the talk of someone who's guilty.
TERESE: Hmm. Yeah, I guess.
JANE: No, there... there must be someone else that we can question. Someone who has been suspicious lately.
TERESE: Actually, yes, there is someone...

Yorokobi
Leo and Krista seem to be on the road to recovery; they're holding hands as they head back towards the winery. In the courtyard, they come across Fallon, and they tell her they're about to have lunch and nail down the wedding invite list. Fallen doesn't say anything but looks a bit disgruntled.

Krista goes to tell the kitchen that they're ready for lunch, leaving Leo and Fallon to talk. Leo confirms he and Krista have sorted things out, and apologises to Fallon that she got caught up in it all.

FALLON: Leo, I might be out of line saying this...
LEO: Well, you're family - go ahead.
FALLON: If you're having issues... if a letter from Seb could be -
LEO: Krista's not interested in Seb. It's no issue.
FALLON: ... You could still postpone the wedding, if you're having any doubts.
LEO: No. We're in love. We don't want to wait.

Leo smiles reassuringly at Fallon and walks inside. She looks peeved.

Eirini Rising
Terese and Jane have summoned Jasmine for a chat. She's incredulous to be accused of stealing cleaning supplies - but Terese points out that she was here last night around the time of the latest theft, and Jane adds that she does have a history of stealing from Eirini. Nonetheless, Jasmine denies it was her.

At this point Elenora turns up again, and tells Jasmine that it's okay - 'we can tell them'.

JASMINE: I've been coming here at night to play scopa (an Italian card game) with the other residents.

Elenora says Jasmine is a good player, and has made her a lot of money! Terese and Jane are annoyed that Elenora has been enlisting Jasmine to gamble for her.

JANE: I can't believe you would exploit a child like this!
JASMINE: She's not exploiting me. And anyway, you can't talk. You're exploiting one of your employees.
JANE: Excuse me?
JASMINE: I saw you kissing the cleaner. You're hooking up with him.

Terese gasps as Jane looks annoyed...
