Previously on Neighbours
- Aaron realises he's too late to win Rhett back, after learning that Rhett has a new boyfriend, Patrick
- Cara tells Nicolette that her cousin Maddy is a midwife; she might have helped Chelsea as they're close
- Nicolette lands up in bed with Maddy, and later finds a thank- you gift that Chelsea gave to Maddy
- Maddy admits to Cara that Chelsea stayed with her for a while, and Maddy helped deliver her baby
- Remi is surprised to find Cara and Nicolette hanging out together
- Jane and Clint use the vacant Apartment 304 at Eirini Rising as a love den

- What's more, someone's been stealing floor cleaner from the Eirini storeroom, Terese laments
- Sebastian kisses Krista, but Krista's half- sister Fallon has seen them
- Taye thinks Fallon should perhaps tell her sister about her former relationship with Seb
- Krista is pleasantly surprised to find Taye and Fallon talking and reveals to him she's Fallon's sister
The Waterhole
While Krista is some distance away fiddling with her phone, Fallon frantically tells Taye that she'd never have told him everything about her sister if she'd known Krista was going to be his boss.
FALLON: Please, okay, you can't say anything... What?
TAYE: I'm just trying to match the person you've been describing with the one who just hired me, and...
FALLON: People aren't always as they appear.
TAYE: Yeah, but even then, she seems so nice. Doesn't seem like the type to cheat on her fiancé.
The conversation is abruptly cut short as Krista rejoins them, and asks them how they met. Taye explains that they got talking in the beer garden. Krista suggests Fallon check out the Piano bar; she'll get Leo, and they can make a night of it.
TAYE: Seb's your ex, Leo's the fiancé.
FALLON: You cannot breathe a word of this.
TAYE: Lips are sealed.
FALLON: Krista thinks I'm here for her wedding. She can't ever know Seb was a factor.
TAYE: Oh my gosh, calm your farm. What are you thinking?
FALLON: I need to read that letter.
Erinsborough Hospital
Aaron is looking at photos of Rhett and Patrick on his phone, when Jane turns up to take him home from hospital. She seems quite impatient for them to go, and tells him that looking at photos of Rhett is an unhealthy distraction. She grabs his bag and swiftly leads him out. Aaron asks if she's okay; Jane insists she is, and that worrying about her is the last thing he should be doing.
AARON: Hey, are you sexually frustrated?
JANE: Am I *what*?!
AARON: Well, there's no judgement, but... has something happened with Clint?
JANE: How can you tell?
AARON: Because I used to be an exotic dancer, now I work behind a bar. I have spent my life studying people's body language, so I can tell when someone's a little thirsty.
JANE: Well, it's hard for Clint and I to find the opportunity to be together, because... secret romances are exciting, but a little tricky from a logistics point of view.
AARON: But you like him?
JANE: Yeah. But you don't have time for this - you're recovering.
AARON: I do. I've got all the time in the world for forbidden romance on Ramsay Street! Fill me in!
Eirini Rising
Terese is surprised to find JJ in the Eirini storeroom when he's supposed to be at school. JJ claims that Clint asked him to grab some cleaning supplies. Evidently suspicious, Terese asks why he's doing it now.
JJ: Do you think I'm the thief?
TERESE: I'm just doing my due diligence.
JJ: Right. No, yeah - I had some spare periods at school, so I just thought, 'I'll go help Clint out'.
At this point, Clint himself turns up, and confirms that he asked JJ to come in, as there's a mess over in the kitchen. Terese apologises to JJ.
JJ: Nah, it's fine. I'm used to being blamed for things anyway, so...
JJ walks out. Terese tells Clint she didn't mean to make JJ feel bad.
TERESE: I'm just... I'm being bombarded with calls from the residents about condoms and stolen goods... I need to fix this.
CLINT: What do you want me to do?
TERESE: New rules. The only two people that can come into this storeroom are you and me.
CLINT: Alright. I'll keep it locked at all times.
TERESE: Yeah. Any idea who the thief might be?
CLINT: ... No, sorry.
Ramsay Street
Remi is just coming out of the house when Cara pulls up in her ute; Cara thought they could have a bite to eat together as she's on a break. Remi can't, as she's catching up with her friend Felicity. Remi leaves, and Cara goes to collect the mail; there's a stampless, handwritten envelope among it, addressed to her. Inside is a gold necklace with an infinity symbol pendant, and a card, which is evidently from Chelsea.
'I'm okay,' it says. 'Please stop trying to find me. I'm making a fresh start for myself. Don't worry about me. C x'. Cara looks conflicted.
Lassiter's Complex
Taye is chatting to Fallon about his new Piano Bar manager job. Fallon has spotted Leo across the courtyard, and they wave and smile at one another.
TAYE: Is that the hapless groom?
FALLON: Don't call him that. Say nothing.
Leo comes over, and Fallon introduces him to Taye; Leo recognises the name from being the new Piano Bar manager, and they shake hands. Fallon introduces Leo as Krista's fiancé.
TAYE: Oh, I've heard...
FALLON: (glares)
TAYE: ... so little about you.
Leo looks a little nonplussed as Taye heads off; Fallon covers by telling Leo that Taye just has a strange sense of humour. Leo thanks Fallon for helping out at Yorokobi for Valentine's Day. She's still embarrassed about getting upset about Byron prying into her love life, but Leo is understanding, observing that Valentine's Day is only fun when you're coupled up.
FALLON: Sounds like you're speaking from experience.
LEO: Yeah. Well, I was single for a long time before I met Krista.
FALLON: Why was that? I mean, you seem like a catch to me.
LEO: Oh, I dunno about that!
FALLON: Now you're just being modest.
LEO: Honestly, it's cos it's not just me I have to think about anymore. I've got my daughter Abi, too.
FALLON: Krista said her mom passed away?
LEO: Yeah. I've been hesitant to be with anyone, cos I need to give her as much stability as possible, so...
FALLON: Krista's the one?
LEO: Yeah. Krista's the one.
Leo offers Fallon another shift at Yorokobi tonight if she's free. She agrees, and Leo gets up to go.
LEO: Oh, and for the record, I think you're a pretty good catch, too.
Fallon smiles, but then looks conflicted as Leo walks away.
702 Eclipse Apartments
Fallon comes in and calls out for Krista, but she doesn't seem to be around. Fallon heads into Krista's bedroom, and quickly finds the letter from Sebastian on the dressing table. Fallon sits on the bed, opens the envelope and begins to read the letter... but at this point, Krista comes in and looks annoyed.
KRISTA: What are you doing?!
FALLON: I only read a few sentences...
Krista snatches the letter from her.
KRISTA: Well, that's private!
FALLON: You were so upset, okay? You were crying. I guess I'm just trying to understand. Okay, put yourself in my position. I'm here, I'm working for Leo - you're asking me to hide things from him.
KRISTA (softening): You're right, I'm sorry.
FALLON: I feel like there's more going on.
KRISTA: I've just... I've been putting off talking to Leo about something.
FALLON: Talk to me, then.
KRISTA: Just something happened before Seb left, and it's the reason why I sent him away. I told myself I was putting Leo first (...) but this letter has made me realise that even with Seb gone, there's some issues that I still have to face.
FALLON: What exactly happened?
KRISTA: Seb told me that he loved me, and he kissed me.
Erinsborough High School
Clint is telling Jane about Terese having suspected JJ of being the thief, albeit having realised she was wrong and apologised straight after.
CLINT: Do you think it could be somebody from the school?
JANE: I think it might be one of the residents.
CLINT: You seem tense.
JANE: You know, Aaron mentioned something earlier. He, umm... (whispering) he thought I might be frustrated.
CLINT: Frustrated! Oh. Maybe we should discuss that over lunch?
JANE: Well, what kind of establishment did you have in mind?
CLINT: Hmm, are there any motels in the area?
JANE: Well, when I was younger, people used to go to the Erins Burrow. Now it's been refurbished.
CLINT: Neighbouring suburb?
JANE: The time it take sus to get there and get back again... it really wouldn't leave us much time -
CLINT: To have much of a lunch?
JANE: No. Entrée at most.
CLINT: Well, entrée's better than nothing.
JANE: Only, I'm starving, Clint. (whispering) I need three courses!
At this point, Aaron turns up to collect his phone, which Jane has for some reason. Aaron also apologises to Clint for his behaviour the other night after he was roofied. Clint says it's fine and that Jane has explained everything. They shake hands.
AARON: I also heard that you guys are having trouble finding a possible meeting place.
JANE (to Clint): It's alright - Aaron's across everything. He's safe.
Aaron tells them he's about to go shopping to buy Andrew and Trevor a thank you present for saving him, so nobody will be home - then leaves them to it. Clint says he thought Jane's house was a no- go area, but she looks tempted...
702 Eclipse Apartments
Krista is explaining to Fallon how Leo always thought the worst of Seb and Krista kept insisting he was wrong. Fallon says Krista must have really wanted Seb here.
KRISTA: Well, he's really important to me. I just... I wanted to help him get back on his feet.
FALLON: You saw the good in him?
KRISTA: Yeah, always. Plus, I felt bad. I mean, I'm the one who got him into the drugs and the partying, and... I enabled that lifestyle for years. I just... I wanted to make amends. But then, after what he said, and after he kissed me...
FALLON: Why didn't you tell Leo?
KRISTA: I was going to. But then you showed up, and... not that I'm blaming you, I... I took the easy way out. Leo wasn't pressing me for an explanation, so I just thought it was a secret better left kept.
FALLON: That's a pretty big secret.
KRISTA: Yeah, I know. I guess I've been lying to myself, too (...) about why I haven't said anything. That's a bigger conversation. I need to tell Leo, and... I think I should do it now.
Ramsay Street
Cara is outside No 30 on the phone to Nicolette, telling her about the card and the necklace from Chelsea; Cara says she must have delivered it after Maddy told her that Cara knew she'd been staying with her.
CARA: There's no stamp on the envelope, so she's got to be in Melbourne.
At this point, Remi comes home; her friend Felicity has cancelled on her, so she suggests she and Cara could still go for a bite to eat. At this point, she notices the necklace from Chelsea that Cara is holding.
REMI: What's that?
CARA: Oh, umm...
REMI: Have you got a secret admirer?
CARA: No! Umm... it was a late Valentine's present, for you. Just got here.
REMI: Oh, you didn't have to do that!
CARA: Oh, well, in that case, then...
Cara makes a show of pretending to throw it into the bushes!
REMI: Don't you dare! Oh, I love it.
They kiss, and Remi lifts her hair so Cara can put the necklace on.
No 24
Jane has decided to bring Clint home with her for their 'lunch', and checks to make sure nobody else is in the house. It's empty...
JANE: ... and Lord Chatterley won't be home for hours!
CLINT: Is that right, my ladyship?
She begins to undress him and they kiss.
CLINT: I think in the novel, they do it on the floor.
JANE: Oh, we can try that later!
But at this point they're interrupted by a knock at the door. They keep quiet, hoping whoever it is will go away, but soon Terese shouts through the door that she saw Jane and Clint go inside! Jane and Clint hastily put their jackets back on and Jane goes to let Terese in.
TERESE: Now, listen, I know what you're up to!
JANE (worried): You do?
TERESE: Yeah. And I have to say, I'm a little surprised that you didn't invite me, but... never mind, I'm here now! Ready to jump in.
CLINT: You are?
TERESE: Yeah! Well, three's better than two.
Jane and Clint look a bit worried! Until...
TERESE: I mean, we are talking about the cleaning thefts, right?
JANE: Uh... yes, we are. We were just about to, uh... get stuck into it.
Terese says they need a new gameplan to protect Eirini and asks what their thoughts are. Jane and Clint look flustered...
The 82
Cara is texting Nicolette about the card and necklace. Remi returns to the table having ordered, and sees Nicolette's profile pic on Cara's phone, though it's not clear how much of the content of the messages she's seen.
REMI (strained): You two are becoming good friends.
CARA: Yeah. Well, I still feel bad about the time she thought we liked Kiri more than her. I realised I hadn't really got to know Nicolette, so I thought I would.
Remi forces a smile as she lightly probes Cara about the new friendship.
REMI: Hmm. So what do you talk about?
CARA: Oh, you know. There's always something to talk about on Ramsay Street.
REMI: Hmm, yeah. That's nice.
But Remi looks unreassured.
The Piano Bar
Fallon catches up with Taye as he works at the bar. He asks what was in Seb's letter to Krista.
FALLON: I skimmed to the end, but it was about how Krista shouldn't be marrying Leo. And a lot of stuff about how she's using him as an emotional crutch.
TAYE: Isn't that called being in a relationship?
FALLON: It's not a healthy thing for an addict to do. It's exactly the type of advice I gave Seb when I helped him get clean.
TAYE: That's heavy. It must have been hard for you to read.
FALLON: It was, but I can't keep getting upset. I've given Seb enough of my energy, and he doesn't deserve it.
Taye is admiring his reflection in a drinks tray!
FALLON: You look great.
TAYE: I know.
FALLON: Anyhow, Krista's finally telling Leo the truth. Apparently, it's a 'bigger conversation'. Whatever that means.
Taye is smiling at her quizzically, so Fallon asks him what he wants to say.
TAYE: Don't come for me. But, is a little part of you enjoying all this drama?
FALLON: No! I'm looking out for everyone. Leo's a dad. There's a kid involved in this.
TAYE: Alright.
FALLON: I just want my sister to do the right thing.
Taye looks thoughtful as Fallon walks out.
Erinsborough High School
Clint and Jane are having another surreptitious chat; he asks when he can see her again. Jane says not tonight, as she's had to invite Terese over for dinner! He suggests tomorrow instead, but Jane isn't sure. He passes her an envelope, which contains something he's written with the pen she bought him. Jane opens it excitedly; it looks like he may have written her a poem. But at this point JJ turns up and she hides it.
JJ: Mr Perkins is looking for you. Apparently some cleaning products have gone missing from the school's cleaning cupboards?
JANE: What?! Not us as well?
JJ: Yeah. I have a solid alibi all day, just by the way.
JANE: Yes, of course you do, JJ. Thank you.
Once JJ's gone, Jane wonders aloud what's going on around here. Clint looks just as perturbed.
The Waterhole
Krista comes in and finds Leo ordering drinks at the bar. She's clearly hoping to come clean to him about the kiss, but then realises that Leo has Abigail with him; he's dropping her off at No 24 to play with Isla later, and then is headed straight to work. Krista realises it's not the best time to talk; and in any case, Abi wants to talk about her flower girl duties for the wedding!
LEO: That's what you wanted to talk about, right? Wedding plans?
KRISTA (strained): Yeah. Course it is.
Abi is thrilled at the prospect of wedding chat, but Krista looks worried.
No 24
Jane, Aaron and Terese have just finished dinner and are talking about the thefts at Eirini and the school; now it's happened at both sites, Terese says, it really could be anyone.
TERESE: Dare I say it could even be the students again.
JANE: Jasmine and co have come too far for them to pull a stunt like this.
TERESE: Hmm. Well, I guess the next step is to put security cameras in the storage rooms.
Jane agrees that they may have to. They agree to sleep on it and talk again tomorrow. Terese leaves, giving Jane another chance to read her love letter/poem from Clint. She smiles to herself, but hides it from Aaron as he returns from the kitchen sink.
AARON: Hey, there is one common denominator that you haven't considered yet.
JANE: Who?
AARON: Okay, when I say the name, you're gonna say 'impossible'. Which may be the case, but just promise me you'll think about it.
JANE: Alright, I promise.
AARON: Clint.
JANE: Impossible!
AARON: He's the cleaner, Jane. He has had access to both of the storage facilities frequently.
JANE: I would know.
AARON: Why, because you guys are sleeping together? That means he couldn't do it?
JANE: It just doesn't make sense. I mean, why would he jeopardise both his jobs and his relationship with me for... for hospital- grade bleach?
AARON: They're both good points, yes. But it doesn't rule him out. You don't have to answer it, but just think about it.
Yorokobi
Fallon is working when Leo turns up. He apologises for being late, explaining he lost track of time talking about the wedding with Krista. Fallon is cautious, wondering if Krista has told him about the kiss with Seb - but Leo's demeanour doesn't betray any worry, and rather, he simply seems excited to get started sending out the wedding invites.
Fallon hesitates, then makes a decision to accidentally- on- purpose blow Krista's secret.
FALLON: It's okay. You don't have to pretend. I already know.
LEO: Huh?
FALLON: Krista said she was telling you today, and I'm glad you're working through it.
LEO: Hang on, what are you talking about?
FALLON (feigned): You really don't know? Forget I said anything.
LEO: No, you have to tell me now. What?
FALLON: Krista said she'd come clean.
LEO: Yeah, just... spit it out, Fallon.
FALLON: ... It's about why Seb left. He told her he loved her, and... they kissed.
Leo looks shocked and upset.
