Lassiters reception
Holly is very peeved she didn't get the job! Krista explains that Taye has more experience, hence why he got the position and when Holly begins to challenge that decision, she's forcefully told that the decision is final!
Maddy's house
Cara gets a warm greeting from cousin Maddy before introducing Nicolette to her. Maddy goes to be hospitable and inviting the pair in but Cara gets straight down to why they are there - Chelsea! She seems confused by Cara mentioning Chelsea and asks "what trouble has she got herself into now?!"
Lassiters hotel (Krista's apartment)
Krista is playing with Seb's scarf when Fallon comes into her room to check up on her. She explains she's down for having to give Holly the bad news and has been thinking about Seb too and explains why she's got his scarf. Fallon wants to know what gives between them, but Krista is trying to move on, so doesn't go there and explains why she won't contact him either, as Fallon suggested, because it would cause problems for her/Leo.
Yorokobi
The place is all set up for Valentine's night but Leo is leaving the running of the evening to others so he can spend the night with Krista. And this begins by giving her a quick pash before asking how things are going with Fallon - he's pleased they are spending time together and can see the family resemblance despite their different upbringing.
Meanwhile Byron tries to suss out if Fallon has left behind "any Valentines back in Mykonos" and her dry reply is "just the one" but isn't exactly complimentary when she adds that the guy is likely to be "thinking about somebody else."
Maddy's place
It's a no- go on news about Chelsea as the trio say farewell to each other, but when Nicolette/Cara get back to the car, Nicolette is sure Maddy is lying... and very bad at it too! Cara isn't sure what to do next but Nicolette is going to come up with a cunning plan!
Number 30
Cara lies over what she was up to when Remi asks, ahead of them watching their favourite film.
Taye interrupts the romantic night to tell them about his new job, which they are happy to hear and to celebrate the news (and give thanks to them) he's shouting the pair to dinner at Yorokobi... although they might want to spruce themselves up a bit first!
Yorokobi
After today, Krista is unsure about asking Holly to be her bridesmaid and Leo seems surprised that Fallon wasn't her first choice.
Meanwhile Byron is tyring to get more info from Fallon about the person she left behind but eventually he pushes her just a tad too far and she reacts, by loudly telling him to "shut up" which given raised voice has attracted the attention of everyone in the place!
(Later)
Remi and Cara arrive for their freebie, closely followed by Nicolette who has a date with herself (Aaron bought the tickets but he's indisposed and Jane is babysitting). Andrew is there too... but on a "friend date" with Terese!
At the bar, Leo and Krista are curious to know from Byron why Fallon exploded like she did but nobody can figure it out and he'd rather they just moved on.
Number 30
Taye is surprised to see Holly arrive at the house - she's brought him some cheese as a pretence to come over and chat! She lays it on thick how things have been for her lately to see if he will turn down the job at the Piano Bar, because she would have been the next person offered the job had he turned it down. Taye though isn't giving up his job and before exiting, Holly snatches the cheese pressie from his hands!
Yorokobi
Fallon comes out from where she's been hiding in a back room to apologise to her sister for going off on one at Byron. Krista reassures her sister that he's got a thick skin and tries herself to get the info from Fallon on the guy, but she still isn't talking and instead picks up an order that requires delivering to a table as a way of ending the conversation.
Number 30 (next day)
It looks like Cara and Remi had a good night last night but Cara turns down the opportunity of sharing a shower with her wife to make a call.
Maddy's place
So after having her quota of strawberries in one night, Nicolette left Yorokobi and headed to Maddy's place and the pair wake up together after a night of fun! Nicolette is still on a mission to get info on Chelsea but so far nothing has come out.
Maddy's place/Number 30
So the person Cara was about to call is Nicolette and she can't believe where Nicolette is... nor at hearing what her plan is to get the info on Chelsea (seduce Maddy). Nicolette takes advantage of Maddy's absence (she's gone to make some coffee) to have a good look around her bedroom and finally finds something - a bottle of perfume with a label attached saying 'Thank you for everything - C'.
NICOLETTE: Get your butt down here ASAP!
Lassiters hotel (Krista's apartment)
When Krista comes into the apartment, Fallon makes it clear that she isn't willing to talk about what happened last night, so instead Krista offer to be there for her when she is ready to open up.
As Krista checks her mail, she spots one with familiar handwriting - it's a letter from Seb and looks like he's in a rehab facility in Sydney. Krista then heads out to find somewhere quiet to read the letter.
Maddy's place
Either Maddy took forever to make the coffee, or Cara has inherited Susan's ninja skills, as the pair are drinking their coffee, Cara arrives!
As soon as Cara enters the kitchen, Nicolette reveals the evidence she found and Maddy can't believe how they managed to set her up! Realising the game is up, Maddy confirms that Chelsea did stay with her and yes, she assisted in delivering the baby (no complications) but mother and baby then "moved on as soon as they could." Cara presses her for more info, but Maddy isn't willing to say anything more, like where Chelsea is now and if she has money.
MADDY: Chelsea knows where to find you and she's choosing to keep her distance.
Chelsea is keeping away from Cara over what was said at the airport and Maddy would rather not be in the middle of things and as part of that, orders the pair of them to leave. Before she does leave, Cara asks Maddy to pass onto Chelsea that she's sorry and there won't be an issue with the police either, her sister just wants to help.
Rotunda
Krista is reading Seb's letter when Fallon comes and joins her. She spots that her sister has tears in her eyes, so Krista explains that the letter is an apology one, it is Seb making amends as part of the twelve steps, and so the tears aren't sad ones, but ones of relief.
KRISTA: Seb's owning his addition and doing something about it, just like I wanted him to.
Krista is happy he's in a good place, which is all that she really wanted for him... for them. Fallon is curious to know what else is in the letter but its mostly him saying nice things about Krista. Krista then asks a favour from her sister - that she doesn't tell Leo about the letter.
Harolds café
Cara seems impressed (but also angry) at the ingenuity Nicolette went to, to get the information on Chelsea from Maddy. The night with Maddy was needed by Nicolette too, so she could move on from Yaz... the fact that she got info about Chelsea was an added bonus!
NICOLETTE: I did want to ask you though, if you had any other hot cousins for me to meet?!
CARA: (laughing) I don't think so!
Remi comes into the café in a mood - she's peeved at Cara leaving while she was still in the shower. "I had some stuff to do," is Cara's explanation which Remi sort of buys, but doesn't say anything more, however when she gets to the counter, you can see from the facial expression she is curious about what is going on.
The Waterhole
It's the next instalment of Fallon unloading her woes about Seb to Taye, telling him about the letter that was sent to Krista.
FALLON: She gets an apology letter... I get nothing.
It doesn't help that to Fallon, Krista is having doubts over who she wants to be with. Taye suggests that she comes clean to Krista about her/Seb, but the conversation is quickly curtailed when Krista spots them after entering the bar.
Krista seems surprised that the pair know each other and likewise Taye seems surprised that Krista knows Fallon! And, to add in the 'I know who you are' conversation, Krista then explains how she knows Taye (new manager at the Piano Bar). Almost sarcastically, Taye comments on "how cool is this!"
