Krista and Leo are dancing, while Fallon is on the sofa using a laptop. It seems Krista is wanting to practice for their wedding day, but Leo is not enjoying himself and complains that he has two left feet. Krista says no one will notice when he's in his wedding tux.
Krista suggests making a wedding playlist to Fallon, but Fallon says they need to concentrate on the guest list first. Leo says it'll only be close friends and family (which presumably is code for 'everyone from Ramsay Street who's in the episode'). But Krista was wondering if it would include her mum as well!
KRISTA: Case for - she's our mum. Case against - she makes everything about her.
FALLON: Isn't she at an ashram somewhere?
KRISTA: Nepal, last I heard.
LEO: Well, my mum can't make it, if that helps make your decision.
Leo gets a message on his phone - one of the Yorokobi staff has called in sick (the second to have done so), and they're hosting a wedding tomorrow.
FALLON: I could help.
LEO: Really? That would be great - thank you.
Fallon heads off to bed for an early night. Leo wonders if he's interrupted some sister bonding time, but Krista tells him no - it's good for him and Fallon to get to know each other, and maybe she'll open up to him a little about her life. They dance again, but with Leo instigating this time.

Nicolette is trying to talk to Aaron about Jane's mood swings, but Aaron is lost in thought. Nic mentions that Krista has asked her to make some 'sappy cookies' for Valentine's Day for the café.
NICOLETTE: I move a petition to cancel Valentine's Day this year.
AARON (muted): Hear, hear.
NICOLETTE: What's wrong?
AARON: Uh... I've just been thinking about Rhett. I feel like I might've called it off too soon.
NICOLETTE: Oh, it was David's anniversary. It's not exactly the easiest time to start something new.
AARON: Yeah, I know, but, like... what if I've made a mistake? What if I've just ruined something that actually could've been really good?
NICOLETTE: It's okay to change your mind (...) Admit you stuffed up, and try something new.
Yorokobi
Leo, Fallon and Byron arrive to set up for the wedding, but they find the door already unlocked - and the glass panes in it are plastered with bird crap. Inside, all the tables they'd laid the night before are covered in feathers and guano!
LEO: The kitchen staff must have left the door open, and birds got in!
BYRON: Yeah, there's either a very bold cockatoo getting around Erinsborough, or a flock of diarrhetic seagulls!
FALLON: I think it's the latter.
LEO: We're gonna have to redo everything. And the guests arrive in... less than two hours!
BYRON: No, we have to cancel, Leo. I mean, we can't clean this mess up in time!
But Fallon keeps a cool head, and tells them they can figure this out.
FALLON: We'll need buckets, bags, brushes and lots of disinfectant. We will also need to replace all the glasses, linens and cutlery.
BYRON: We can't do that in two hours.
FALLON: With time to spare.
LEO: Okay, then. Let's do this.
Ramsay Street
Holly and Sadie are walking up the street, and talking about Holly getting shortlisted for the Piano Bar manager job. Conversation turns to Max; Sadie asks about the 'vibe' between Max and Holly. But Holly says she's focusing on herself.
SADIE: I think you guys would be really cute.
A young woman approaches.
WOMAN: Excuse me? This will sound weird, but do you know Max Ramsay?
HOLLY: Max...? I'm sorry, who are you?
WOMAN: A friend of his, from Queensland. I heard he lived on a street named after his family. Apparently, this is it.
SADIE: He's -
HOLLY (interrupting): Not here. We don't know a Max Ramsay. Sorry, you must have the wrong Ramsay Street.
WOMAN: Really?
HOLLY Yeah. We know everybody that lives here.
The woman thanks them and goes on her way.
SADIE: What's going on? Who is that?
HOLLY: I can't explain right now.
Holly rushes off in the direction they came from, leaving Sadie puzzled.
Harold's Café
Krista is excited about the sales potential of the batch of heart- shaped Valentine's cookies with handwritten icing that a miserable- looking Nicolette is making!
KRISTA: It's cute, right?
NICOLETTE: Cute (!) I can make custom ones for single people - 'I am my own soulmate'.
KRISTA: It's a good idea!
NICOLETTE: And by 'people', I mean me.
KRISTA: Nic, I'm sorry that things didn't work out with you and Yaz.
NICOLETTE: You've changed your tune.
KRISTA: You had your reasons for keeping the secret - and I get it now, on some level.
Aaron shows up, and asks for an urgent double espresso - he's asked Rhett to meet him here, and is going to ask him for a second chance at their relationship. Krista and Nicolette are both excited for him.
NICOLETTE: But we don't need to amp ourselves up with caffeine - no, no, no! Just calming chamomile.
AARON: What am I supposed to say to him?
KRISTA: You just... you tell him how you feel, right? And then the rest is up to him.
AARON: Yeah, I know, but what if he doesn't feel the same way that I do?
NICOLETTE: If you are honest about where you're at and why you did what you did, he'll understand, I promise - okay, now breathe with me! You've got this.
Yorokobi
Leo comes in, and reports that the wedding ceremony has just finished and the bride and groom will be on their way for the reception once they've had photos taken. He's impressed with how much progress they've made with Fallon helping - she explains that the whole area has been double- disinfected and all the linens and plates changed. Byron praises Fallon as a 'serious miracle worker'.
FALLON: I've dealt with much worse in Mykonos. Drunk puking tourists galore. Hilarious, though.
LEO: So you did have some laughs, then?
FALLON: Nonstop, usually. But... it was still time to leave.
Fitzgerald Motors
Max is working on a car out the front when Holly turns up. She explains about the woman from Queensland who was looking for him on Ramsay Street.
MAX: Maybe someone connected to Carter?
HOLLY: Yeah, that's what I was worried about.
Holly gives Max a physical description of the woman, and he shows her a photo of the same woman on his phone, asking if it was her. Holly confirms it was.
MAX: Oh my god, that's my best friend from Queensland, Kasey. And she's not connected to Carter. Except for the fact that she was the one that got roofied.
HOLLY: Okay, well, that's a pretty big connection, wouldn't you say?
MAX: Yeah. Uh, what's she doing here? Is she in trouble?
HOLLY: I dunno. She just said that she was looking for you.
MAX: Why didn't she just call me?
HOLLY: I dunno. She's your friend.
MAX: Something really bad must've happened for her to show up like this.
Harold's Lakeside
Krista watches from a distance as a nervous Aaron waits for Rhett to show up. Nicolette emerges and gives Krista a cardigan that Sebastian left at the café, and asks if she has an address for him to send it to. Krista tells Nic to leave it with her. However, as Krista's walking off with the cardigan, she notices the spot near the lake where Seb kissed her, and is momentarily disconcerted. Eventually she goes on her way.
Rhett turns up, and Aaron greets him enthusiastically. Rhett goes in for a handshake but Aaron hugs him; it's clear Rhett isn't quite as enthusiastic as Aaron is.
AARON: Look, I guess you're wondering why I asked to see you again - especially after I'm the one who called things off.
RHETT: Hmm.
AARON: I guess I've realised that I have made a mistake, and I... I want to try again. With us.
Yorokobi
The wedding reception is in full swing, and Byron is chatting to the bride and groom, Jess and Louie. He begins pouring wine for them, but hasn't noticed that there's a big blob of bird crap on one of the glasses! Fallon has noticed from afar, and just as Byron hands the wine to Jess, she intervenes, taking it off her.
FALLON: Byron, we cannot serve them wine as their first drink! They need bubbles.
Leo, who has also been watching this unfold, rushes over with a bottle of bubbly - 'our top shelf, reserved only for special guests'.
FALLON: Nothing but the best for the happy couple.
LOUIE: Thank you. We really couldn't have asked for a better venue.
JESS: Or better hosts.
Fallon hides the soiled wine glass behind her back as Leo presents them with glasses of bubbly. Leo then gives Fallon a subtle high five for spotting the problem before the guests did!
Harold's Lakeside
Nicolette hovers, clearing tables, while Aaron continues to talk to Rhett. Aaron admits he didn't handle things in the best way, and was worried about moving too fast; but he made the wrong decision and wants to give things another go. Rhett is trying to speak, but Aaron won't let him get a word in.
At this point another guy shows up, apparently looking for Rhett, and kisses him on the cheek, much to Aaron's surprise! Rhett looks very awkward.
OTHER GUY: Hi. I'm Patrick.
Aaron shakes his hand, and Rhett begins to explain that he and Patrick are in a relationship. Aaron gets the idea. Rhett asks if Patrick would mind giving him a moment alone with Aaron.
RHETT (awkward): I'm sorry. He wasn't meant to be here. I was trying to tell you...
AARON (embarrassed): No, sorry, I get it. I wouldn't stop talking.
RHETT: No, don't be - it's very new.
AARON: No, Rhett - you don't have to explain.
RHETT: I don't want you to think I just went out and hooked up with someone. I did really like you. And I was totally willing to wait - it was just, last time I spoke to you, you were so... definite. And then... me and Patrick...
AARON: Of course.
RHETT: ... I really wanted it to work, Aaron.
AARON: Yeah, I'm... I'm too late.
Rhett doesn't contradict him, and says he should probably go.
AARON: It was good seeing you again.
RHETT: Yeah, you too.
As Rhett heads off to find Patrick, Nicolette approaches and comforts Aaron.
NICOLETTE: I'm so sorry. That was really brave.
AARON (sadly): Yeah. Didn't really make a difference, did it?
Lassiter's Complex
Holly and Max find Kasey hanging out on a bench, and Max greets her with a hug. Max is very worried about her, but Kasey tells him to 'chill, dude' - nothing's wrong, she just missed him and wanted to surprise him with a visit.
KASEY (to Holly): So you *do* know Max.
MAX: Yeah, I told her about what happened in Queensland. She was protecting me.
KASEY: Thank you. But seriously, it's fine. It's actually what I came down here to say. Everything's calmed down at home; you can come back (...) No one's looking for you. It's been ages, and no one's said anything.
HOLLY: Well, that doesn't mean that he's safe. Carter could still be watching; you might've led them straight to Max.
KASEY: I don't think Carter's made the connection between what happened to him and what happened to me.
HOLLY: Well, how can you say that for sure?
KASEY: I was the one that was roofied. I think I'd know... I guess I should've called. But I just wanted to see my best friend in person. I miss you so much.
Holly looks concerned and perhaps a little jealous as Max and Kasey hug.
A while later, the three of them are sitting outside the pub having drinks. Kasey enthuses about her new therapist and says she's in a really good headspace now. She again encourages Max to move back home, as he's losing his tan! Max decides to buy another round - he knows Kasey's favourite drink, a negroni, but is 'blanking' on what to get for Holly. Again, she looks a little jealous, but says she's fine for a drink.
HOLLY: Don't you have to get to work soon?
MAX: Uh, no, I finished early. (pointing to Kasey) Special occasion.
Sadie turns up, and Max introduces her to Kasey; Sadie acknowledges that they've already met briefly earlier. Holly says she'll get drinks, dragging Sadie off with her as an opportunity to talk to her. Holly tells Sadie that Max said he was worried about seeing anyone from Queensland he knew - but doesn't explain why - so that's why she rushed off earlier, to let him know.
SADIE: That's not the whole story, is it? (...) I mean, you saw a cute girl who knows Max. You're jealous.
HOLLY (scoffs): No! That's not what that was, at all.
SADIE: Okay (!)
HOLLY: I am not jealous!
SADIE: Whatever you say (!)
HOLLY: I'm not!
SADIE: Mm- hm.
Sadie laughs as Holly stomps off inside.
Harold's Café
Nicolette offers Aaron one of her Valentine's singleton cookies - it has the words 'self love' iced on it!
AARON: Wait, what were you gonna give me if the chat went well?
She shows him another cookie iced with the words 'my baby', with rainbows and a unicorn!
NICOLETTE: Gotta prepare for every option!
AARON: Oh, wow.
NICOLETTE: Hey, something good has come out of this, you know? (...) Now you know that you're ready to date and put yourself out there, and that's huge.
AARON: Yeah. I guess you're right... Hey, these do kind of look like dog biscuits.
NICOLETTE: I know.
Aaron sniggers.
Yorokobi
The wedding reception continues. Bride and groom Jess and Louie look very happy together, while Fallon watches them somewhat sulkily from behind the counter.
Krista turns up and greets Leo with a kiss. He says none of this would have been possible if it wasn't for Fallon.
FALLON: It was a team effort.
LEO: Oh, sure. She dealt so well under pressure - did whatever it takes to get the job done, including dealing with some bird poos.
KRISTA: Okay. Intriguing!
Krista asks if Fallon wants to join her for a coffee, but she says she needs to mop up out the back, and walks off.
KRISTA: Is it just me, or does she not want to talk to me?
LEO: No, I think she just really likes contributing.
KRISTA: Yeah. That's always been a big thing for her - paying her way.
LEO: Well, I'm happy to see you.
KRISTA: I'm happy to see you too.
They look over adoringly at the loved up bride and groom.
KRISTA: That'll be us soon.
LEO: Can't wait.
KRISTA: Me too.
They kiss again. But Fallon is hiding behind some flowers watching them, and looking very mardy!
Lassiter's Complex
Max and Kasey are playing quoits (or some variation on it?) outside the pub, while Holly and Sadie watch. Holly looks jealous again, but insists once more to Sadie that she isn't. Nonetheless, she gets up to interrupt the game, and pulls Max aside for a private word.
HOLLY: This isn't safe; you have to see that.
MAX: I know what I'm doing.
HOLLY: Do you? Because her being in Erinsborough isn't a good idea.
MAX: Look, she's just here to convince me to go home, which I'm obviously not gonna do. Just in case.
HOLLY: (...) Look, her being here is too risky. If there's even the slightest possibility that this could compromise your safety, it's not worth it. You need to tell her to leave.
MAX: ... Yeah. Yeah, you're right. I'll tell her.
Holly looks a little relieved as Max returns to talk to Kasey.
Yorokobi
Leo and Fallon are having a glass of wine together as he thanks her for all her efforts. He says he's understaffed again on Valentine's Day if she's free, and she seems keen to oblige.
LEO: You know, I, uh... didn't grow up around a lot of my siblings. I didn't grow up around money, either.
FALLON: I just assumed...
LEO: No. It was a whole new world for me. So... I get it.
FALLON: Krista and I are very different people.
LEO: Yeah, but it's nice you're trying to reconnect with her. It means a lot to her.
FALLON: I'm glad things are better between you two.
LEO: What?
FALLON: I got a vibe when I arrived.
LEO: Ah. Yeah, I, uh... I had a bit of an issue with Seb, so...
FALLON: Like what?
LEO: I thought he was into Krista. Romantically. And I should've believed her when she said they were only ever just friends.
FALLON: Why do you think he left so suddenly?
LEO: Um, I think she had to finally make a choice. Honestly, I'd be happy if she never mentions his name again.
Fallon turns away from Leo and looks mardy again!
702 Eclipse Apartments
Fallon returns to the apartment and finds it empty. She sees Krista's bedroom door open and spots Seb's cardigan (the one he left at the café) on the end of the bed. Fallon picks it up and gazes at it pensively...
The Waterhole
Sadie and Holly are hanging out at a table; Sadie goes to check if the dartboard's free. Max comes in, and tells Holly that Kasey has agreed to go back to Queensland.
HOLLY: Right. And how do you feel about that?
MAX: Umm... it's the right thing to do. I think I got really caught up with seeing her again; I didn't even think about the consequences, so... thank you.
HOLLY: Well, I'm sure she wasn't here long enough to cause any problems, so it'll be alright.
MAX: Yeah... You seem to really care about my safety.
HOLLY: Yeah, I was just looking out for a friend. Don't let it get to your head.
MAX (laughs): You think I have a big head?
HOLLY (laughs): Yeah!
Aaron comes in looking for company, and Holly and Max are happy for him to join them. Max offers him a drink, and heads to the bar, ordering a load of oddly specific drinks considering he hasn't asked Aaron, Holly or Sadie what they wanted! He orders a whisky for himself, while at the table, Holly takes Aaron over to play darts with Sadie.
The barman puts Max's whisky on the bar, and Max heads to the bathroom as the barman prepares the other drinks. But while Max is gone, the camera closes in on the whisky. Someone has approached the bar from the customer side while the barman's attention is elsewhere, and we see a mystery hand pouring a small bag of powder into the glass!
