Harold's Cafe
Nicolette and Leo are silent.

KRISTA: Did you ask her to fire Seb?
LEO: ...
KRISTA: And you saw Yaz at the airport?
NICOLETTE: ...
LEO: Look, we can explain everything.
KRISTA: Yeah, you think?! And why haven't you told anyone about Yaz?
NICOLETTE: Because I helped her get away. But only beacuse she was really sorry for what you did?
KRISTA: What, so you two made some kind of pact? You keep her secret and she fires Seb.
LEO:(pained) Something like that, yeah. Look, I know you deserve a better explanation, OK, but can we please just focus on David and I'll talk to you about it later?

Krista stalks out.

LEO: Kirsta...

He follows her out of the cafe. At a table, Seb smiles, slyly.

Power Road
Holly is sweeping out the front of the garage when Andrew passes by. She tells him she's helping Max out. He asks if she's noticed anything strange about him and she says she hasn't.

Holly asks about Yaz, and Andrew says he's due an update today.

Inside Garage
Paul pops in to see Max. They're just chatting when Paul gets a text from Aaron "Change of plans, volunteering at the food bank. Community Centre, 12pm. Very David"

(Which is strange, because I don't remember ever mentioning the food bank, or indeed, any charity)

Paul tells Max he'd better head off.

Krista's flat
Leo comes in.

LEO: Please, can you just let me explain?
KRISTA: OK, this is a really difficult day, and I want to be there for you, but you're making it really hard.
LEO: Just know I did what I did because I love you.
KRISTA: I've heard that before, Leo!
LEO: Seb is manipulating you. He's trying to get between us, but you can't see it.
KRISTA: I am giving him a chance! And I asked you to do the same.
LEO: He's in love with you, Krista!

She looks at him in shock.

LEO: Look, I can see it on his face, the way he looks at you.
KRISTA: I have told you a million times that we're like family!
LEO: No, he's playing you! I bet he faked that injury as well.
KRISTA: What?! That is ridiculous!
LEO: People do crazy things when they're in love.
KRISTA: Yeah, apparently(!) You know what? What Nicolette did...and what you're helping cover up, that's serious.

(What, chatting to someone in an airport?!)

LEO: I know.

Just then, Seb comes in.

SEB: Everything OK?
KRISTA: Mm- hmm.
LEO: Are you coming to the Community Centre?
KRISTA. Yeah. Let's go.

When they've gone, Seb smiles slyly again.

Garage
Holly is trying to fix an engine under Max's guidance. There's a bit of tension between them.

Penthouse
Paul is sitting sadly when Terese comes to look for him. He says he's not going to the Community Centre.

PAUL: I thought we were having a picnic by the lake.
TERESE: Well, we can still do that afterwards. You don't think volunteering is a nice idea?
PAUL: Yeah, I do, I do, I...I wanted to go to the lake because...because that's where David started to forgive me and I wanted to recapture that feeling you know. That feeling of hope before he died.
TERESE: Oh, Paul.
PAUL: Don't you see what's happening though? They're out there doing something to honour David for the wonderful person that he was, and here I am sitting making it all about me...

Community Centre
Katrina from the hotel is apparently the Food Bank coordinator. Nicolette and Jane have arrived and Aaron worries where the rest of them are.

Penthouse
TERESE: Nobody's thinking about you or Eden today.
PAUL: I am.

(I am too, to be fair)

TERESE: Paul, stop it. We all know you never meant for anyone to get hurt.
PAUL: No, but David did. And time hasn't healed any wounds. Or at least not for me, anyway.
TERESE: OK, look, I know you think you don't deserve it, but your family have forgiven you. And David would love for us all to be together today.
PAUL: I...I just don't think I could face them.
TERESE: Look, I'll support you with whatever you decide to do. But...if you don't go, I think you're going to regret it.

Food Bank
Paul and Terese have arrived, closely followed by Leo and Krista.

Leo and Paul greet each other.

LEO: How are you holding up?
PAUL: Yeah, OK, what about you?
LEO: Yeah.
PAUL:(to Aaron) Right, where do you want us?
AARON: Well, thank you for coming everyone. I know that David would have loved this and I know he would have wanted us to remember that I know it might not feel like it at times, but there are a lot of people out there who have it worse off than us. Whenever I'm struggling, personally, I always like to think 'What Would David Do'? And today, I think he would really like us to put our troubles and sadness aside and help these good people.

Aaron hands out aprons and tells them to report to Katrina.

NICOLETTE:(to Krista) I'm really sorry about what...
KRISTA: No, Nic, I can't do this right now, OK?

Garage
Holly is helping Max with a bike and end up cutting her hand. He holds her hand while he has a look and the tension re- surfaces. He tells her she can go home if she likes, but she's determined to see it through.

Krista's Flat
Krista is on the phone to someone called Dimitri who has written him a reference and apologises for not saying goodbye "before leaving the island".

There's a knock at the door and it's Andrew looking for Krista.

SEB: Can I pass on a message?
ANDREW: Yeah, I'm letting all the relevant parties know that Yasmine Shields was located in Los Angeles.
SEB: That's great!
ANDREW: The LAPD are questioning her now, so hopefully we'll get some answer.
SEB: Yeah. Uh...I'll pass it on.
ANDREW: Great.

When he's gone, Seb texts Krista, "Just got good news. Come home so I can tell you"

Garage
Max sees a car with a Queensland plate park outside the garage and panics. A bloke gets out and talks to Holly - turns out he only wanted directions to a local warehouse.

When he's gone, Max decides to shut the garage and tells Holly he's had enough for one day.

Food Bank
Everyone is serving or packing food. Paul tells Katrina that he's impressed with the work she's doing at the food bank.

Aaron tells Jane that he's pleased that everyone turned up in the end.

JANE: This was a wonderful idea, Aaron. David would have loved it.

Krista takes off her apron and slips out.

Garden of No. 30
Holly gets Max a beer, which he can barely hold due to his bandaged hands(!)

HOLLY: So, now can you tell me what's really going on?
MAX: Er...
HOLLY: Come on, I know a freak- out when I see one.
MAX: No, it's nothing. I just... I don't know...
HOLLY: I also know how it feels to tough something out on your own, and honestly, it wrecks your mental health. Come on, you can trust me.

As he's about to tell her, Holly's phone rings, but she rejects the call.

HOLLY: Oh, um, it's Andrew. I'll call him back later. I'm all ears.
MAX: You have to swear on your life you won't tell a soul.
HOLLY: You have my absolute word.
MAX: ...So, my good mate Kacey used to work in this bar up in Brisbane. And a few months ago, these really dodgy guys started drinking there. And there was this one guy who just kept asking her out. And she finally agreed to get a drink with him after her shift ended.
HOLLY: I'm already hating the sound of this, but go on...
MAX: So, I went to pick her up that night. And I found her in the car park, um...she's passed out. She'd been roofied.
HOLLY: Did you tell the cops?
MAX: No, she refused, she was too scared. But I just couldn't let it go. And so, I tracked down the guy who did it and...I roofied him back. Because, you know, I wanted him to know what it felt like. And then I drove him out to the hinterland and left him there to walk back.
HOLLY: Good!
MAX: No, no, not good. On the news a few days later thay said they found him with severe heat stroke. Like, he could have died.
HOLLY: Oh, right.
MAX: Yeah. And then, to top it all off, it turn out he's like, the young brother of some full- on Brisbane underworld dude. So, I called my dad and I told him everything.
HOLLY: And so that's why he brought you here?
MAX: Yeah. He reckons if I lay low for long enough, the danger will pass.
HOLLY: Well, I mean, now I know why you were so freaked out when those guys showed up with the Queensland numberplates.
MAX: Yeah. That guy I drugged...he doesn't know it was me, but I just can't help but worry he's going to figure it out and come after me.

Krista's flat
Seb is sitting on the sofa when Krista comes in - apparently she went for a long walk. He just telling her he's written an application for the piano bar job when she bursts into tears.

SEB: Hey, hey hey, what's wrong?
KRISTA: You were right. Leo asked Nicolette to fire you.
SEB: He's really had it in for me since day one!
KRISTA: He's being protective, I get that but...he's crossed a line.

Seb suggests that she has a shower and then they'll have pizza and a movie evening. She goes off to the shower and meanwhile leaves the flat.

Garden of No.28
It's dark now and Holly and Max are still talking. Holly suggests that he tones down the jumpy behaviour.

Andrew pops round to tell Holly that the US police have picked up Yaz.

HOLLY: And?
ANDREW: Well, she gave them a statement and...she did blame you for Heath's death to start with...but then after, she realised she was wrong.

(Ah, that's OK then, we'll forget about your attempt to kill Holly)

HOLLY: What? I don't understand. How?
ANDREW: I'll know more when I read the statement, but she's remorseful.

He looks at them, circumspectly.

ANDREW: Well, you two have a good night. He leaves.

When he's gone, Holly is confused.

HOLLY: Why would Yaz suddenly be sorry?!

Lassiter's Complex
Apparently Yaz didn't mention Nicolette in her statement, but she's worried that Krista still knows and might tell on her.

Leo sees Seb with pizza and goes to talk to him.

LEO: I know what game you're playing.
SEB: Is this you way of apologising for shafting me?
LEO: You know, Krista's going to see it soon too.
SEB: Will she? Or will she see how much of a loser you are first.

He turns and starts walking away.

SEB:(over his shoulder) Your brother was a loser, too!
LEO: What did you say?
SEB: Have a good night!

He grins, maliciously.

Penthouse
The whole family, including Isla and Abigail are hanging out and looking at Aaron and David's wedding album. Leo and Paul have a hug on the balcony.

Lassiter's Rotunda, the following day
Krista thanks Seb for a nice evening last night.

SEB: So, how do you feel about Leo?
KRISTA: I love him, I just hope we can move past this.
SEB: OK, I have to say something here. I'm sorry, but I get that he has his reservations about me. What I'm seeing is toxic behaviour.
KRISTA: No, he's a good person. I know the difference.
SEB: Do you? Or are you just too close to see it? I mean, the guy doesn't respect you enough to let you make your own decisions.
KRISTA: I told you, he's just being protective.
SEB: No, it's more than that. It's control. He sees you as somebody that he has to manage.
KRISTA: I don't know...maybe he's just wary because of my addiction.
SEB: Stop making excuses for him!
KRISTA: I'm not!
SEB: He should be seeing you as a strong and capable woman...a gift to the planet!

Krista bursts out laughing.

KRISTA: What?! A gift to the planet?!
SEB: Yes, yes! A gift to the planet! A walking, talking role model for humanity.

He picks a flower from the side.

KRISTA:(laughing) OK!
SEB: A flower.

Seb puts the flower behind her ear and touches her shoulder.

SEB:(seriously) You're beautiful.
KRISTA:(lightly) Aw, you're beautiful for saying that.

Suddenly, Seb kisses her full on the lips.

Coming up on Neighbours
- Nicolette asks Leo if she should speak up about Yaz.
- Byron tells Nicolette that she has to tell Holly.
- Seb tells Krista that he loves her and asks if there's a chance that she feels the same way.
