Number 30
Andrew is gunning for the squatter but when he opens the sunroom door there is nobody there… which is a good thing given the boys have just arrived home from New York. Andrew plays down why he had a cricket bat in his hand and asks instead how the flight was. The boys try to get him to move back to his own house but given he's stocked the cupboards up with food, including snacks the boys aren't normally allowed to have, he isn't moving home yet!

Lassiters Complex
Paul and Nell are very civil/friendly towards each other when they run into each other in the complex.

Number 32
Max is back home after his stay in the hospital and has a decent excuse for not doing the dishes given his hands are still bandaged up!

It also looks like the housemates might be losing their elder member - the chat with Gino seems to have worked, and Vera is investigating Eirini Rising and is getting a tour of the place that afternoon although she does warn them that she isn't signing anything yet!

Number 30
The young loves are reunited with one another but its very sedate given Andrew and Dex are nearby! Given they feel they are in the way, Andrew suggests to Dex that they go outside to shoot some hoops. However, when Dex goes to the sunroom to get the ball he finds the squatter… but instead of reacting badly, it appears that he knows the squatter! Dex silently shows his brother the squatter and he silently reacts positively to whoever this squatter is.

Realising action is required, Dex lies that he can't find the ball and instead suggests that he's hungry and persuades Andrew to go to Grease Monkey's to get burgers for them all. Nell also heads home herself after JJ feigned that he was tired, and with the coast clear, the boys go and see the squatter where we find out that the squatter is in fact Uncle Taye, Remi's brother!

Number 22
Thinking that the coast is clear with Nell spending time with JJ, Paul sneaks into the garden of #22 to spend some alone time with Terese. However, despite the quick pash or two, Terese is mindful of her promise to Nell and sends Paul packing.

Paul isn't too amused to be getting chucked out although rather than go back out the garden gate, he's escorted through the house to the front door - where moments after he's left we see that Nell has seen that he's been in the house.

Number 30
We discover why Taye is in town - he's been playing the field and his three girlfriends have discovered each other and Apollo Bay is too hot, as well as being too small, for him to hide out there. We also hear that Taye and Remi don't really speak to each other anymore and that the quartet haven't seen him in a long time either. Taye's justification for coming is "liking each other's posts" which meant Taye knew they were in New York and that the house was empty… what he wasn't bargaining on though was the boys coming home before the parents. He at least expresses concern on hearing Cara isn't well (she should be fine but isn't medically clear to fly yet) before asking that they won't tell their parents about him being in the house. Dex (on behalf of JJ too) promises not to tell but you can see JJ doesn't look like he's in agreement with his brother although just at that, Andrew is back with the food and Taye scuttles back out into the sunroom.

Eirini Rising (office)
Terese is surprised to see Vera interested in being a future resident, especially after she was impressed at the tour Gino gave. Vera's sticking point is money, but Terese promises to give her a good deal.

Harolds café
Vera has found another tempting reason for moving into Eirini Rising - Dr Bishara especially after she discovers podiatry is one of his specialities!

Sitting at one of the table, the other housemates look happy that Vera is seriously considering moving to Eirini Rising but Sadie warns the boys that there are still barriers - Terese coming up with a financial deal and that the pair of them "need to keep your mouth shut so Vera doesn't change her mind again!"

Number 22 (garden)
Nell tells Terese that she can go spend time with Paul, she doesn't need a babysitter - then reveals that she heard them talking earlier when he was around. Terese replies that Paul was simply being childish and is having trouble getting used to the new boundaries she has set but is sure he will settle down soon!

As Terese is about to head inside, she spots her old tracksuit trousers - Nell found them at the Foundation and so took them home. Terese is more than happy to see them, especially as it brings back memories of her movie marathon time with Toadie and suggests to Nell doing that tonight? "That would be awesome," Nell replies back.

Number 30
Given the boys said they were hungry, Andrew is surprised that they haven't finished all their food - they cite jetlag for the loss of appetite. After he puts the food into the fridge in case they get midnight munchies, the boys do their very best to get him to go back home - they want to prove they can live alone to their mums and eventually their persistence wears off and Andrew heads back to his "cold and lonely" house.

Andrew is barely out the house when a very happy Taye comes in from the sunroom, chuffed that he's getting to stay!

Number 32
The housemates have convened a meeting to discuss Holly - Sadie wants her to be able to stay over should she need it but looks like there will now be plenty of room for her as Vera is moving out to Eirini Rising! Terese has done a deal as promised and after Vera told Curtis about her gambling, he's going to help out financially until she is back on her feet.

VERA: I bet you're all glad to see the back of me?!

That would be a no and they all, in their own ways, admit they will miss her and she very much appreciates their toast to her.

Number 30 (next day)
Taye isn't too impressed at being up early, but the boys are getting ready for their first day back at school. He tries to tempt his nephews to skive school but while Dex seems keen, JJ wants to go to school and so the pair head off with the promise to hang out all together after school.

Eirini Rising (outdoor coffee area)
Over a coffee, Paul apologises for is petulant behaviour yesterday. In turn, Terese reveals that Nell heard them talking, something Paul would rather Nell hadn't heard!

They then go on to chat about the movie marathon and Paul hears about Nell bringing home her old tracksuit bottoms (he was shocked to learn that she had a pair and hears how it happened!) but Terese plans on putting them back in the charity bin.

Eirini Rising (office)
"There's no turning back now!" Vera declares after signing on the dotted line which is good given Byron has just finished moving the last of her belongings into her new abode!

Vera then gets an official welcome from Hilary and Moira although when she reveals the 'insider knowledge' Gino shared with her, they might have chosen not to come and welcome Vera!

Erinsborough High School
Nell and JJ manage to have a quick word with each other before classes start. She wants his advice on saying she is okay with Terese being with Paul - she gets that Terese is happier with Paul [than she was with Toadie] and Paul did save Sonya's Foundation too. His advice is to go for it as long as her head around it, which by the nod of her head confirms that she has.

Dex trades places with Nell and shows his brother a picture of Taye and a HUGE pile of pancakes. JJ wants to let their mums know about his arrival or at least tell Andrew but Dex wants to keep quiet because they never normally get to see their "awesome" Uncle Taye. Eventually, JJ caves in "as long as things don't get out of hand!"

DEX: What could possibly go wrong?

Eirini Rising (office)
After what Vera said, Moira and Hilary want her kicked out but Terese is having none of that! She points out that Vera is "colourful" as well as being "good for a laugh."

HILARY: At us!
MOIRA: You heard her Terese. She is nothing but a troublemaker!
HILARY: And a gossip!

Suddenly we hear Vera butt in [off- camera] to say they missed one out - eavesdropper! Vera then comes into shot and confronts her fellow residents.

VERA: Oh don't worry ladies, I'm used to hostile welcomes! I think you've been ruling the roost for far too long… maybe its time for a shake- up!

While Hilary and Moira are left stunned at what they've heard and Terese trying hard not to laugh, Vera turns the corner back to where she was eavesdropping and silently congratulates herself for standing up to them!

Eirini Rising (outside)
Paul catches Nell as she makes her way to see Terese to retrieve the calculator she inadvertently left behind in the car. He begins by acknowledging that she is a good kid but while she might think she's doing the right thing by Terese, Paul warns Nell that the little game she's playing "stops right now." Nell is confused over what he is on about, but Paul thinks she is taking the mickey.

PAUL: The happy Rebecchi family sketch that you planted and finding the tracksuit pants to remind Terese of Toadie, hey?
NELL: No.
PAUL: You pulled exactly the same thing when you tried to split up your dad and Terese. Well, I am not about to lose somebody else that I love, so how about you do us both a favour and just stop your childish attempts at trying to manipulate Terese before it blows up in your face?!

Nell goes to protest that she isn't doing that, but Paul immediately cuts her off!

PAUL: Do not get between Terese and I! It won't end well for you!

"Glad we had this little chat," Paul finishes with before walking away leaving Nell rooted to the spot!
